I am new to selling online, Shopify, and the Bold Customer Pricing App. But I run an online metabolism-based nutritional supplement store and use the Customer Pricing App to give my Wholesale-Retail customers who own a brick & mortar store or fitness center to buy my products at wholesale discounts and sell them in their businesses. The Customer Pricing App gives me the "hands-off" automation I need to make 300-400% more revenue. It's a keeper!!!!! Rich Farina, M.S.

Loving this app so far. For anyone offering a discount on subscribe this is definitely one you should consider. I noticed that a lot of subscribers weren't opening the email they were sent containing the discount code. Using this app you can have subscribers instantly see the discounted products on your site, no reliance whatsoever on them finding the email in their inbox. I expect this to make a big difference to conversions. You can then offer discounts codes on top of that. Something surprisingly difficult to achieve with Shopify. My initial installation didn't go so smoothly, there is quite a lot of liquid changes so you need a developer to get this working. However the tech support from Bold was fantastic and they spent considerable time integrating the app directly into my theme. Thank you very much Jade! I think other users are running into trouble with the installation because it seems to be quite unique to the theme. Looking through the code changes that Jade made I can't imagine there is one single to do list for everyone. If you think about it, what this app does is really quite complicated so you need to have patience to get it working. Due to it's unique capability it's potentially a game changer to any store owner so I'd say it's worth the effort.

Fantastic app! The customer service and support is outstanding! Abhijit was very helpful though the pairing of the app. He took the time to answer my questions, troubleshoot the discrepancies I had, which were my fault and not the apps fault, overall very satisfied with this app and Bold! I honestly feel sorry for the bold technicians because the bold apps are so incredibly flawed that no one seems to know how to fix them. I had nothing but issues with the customer tiered pricing & wholesale app for months after installation and the issues never really got resolved...not to mention incredibly looooong response times and if it's the weekend...forget about it. Trying to trouble shoot this app was like rocket science or something and in the end I was told that the app was not compatible with either of my themes. Then why was I paying $50 a month for it for like 6 months if it wasn't compatible to begin with? That app thoroughly messed up all of the pricing in my shop, created terrible glitches in my shopping cart and suggested products and slowed my refresh rate waaaaaay down. It was seriously taking about a minute for each page to load. So I know I lost customers over this...don't really want to know how many. I will never use a bold app again! And I do not blame it's technicians. They are doing the best they can with what they have been given...bless their hearts. This was a miserable long drawn out experience and a total waste of my time and energy...long hours and days of conversing with their technicians only to in the end have to uninstall the app and clean the mess it left behind in my shop which included having to manually go in and delete all the variants on every individual product in my shop...I have about 100! It was a total nightmare and I do not recommend any bold app to anyone! Don't waste your time or your money.

I have been using the app for a couple of months now, and i am not at all satisfied with it, but i also can't have my shop without it. Just to warn others before making your shop depend on it. First of all, support from bold is EXTREEMLY slow, so when you have an issue, prepare yourself to be really patient. Second of all, Bold can't agree internally if this app works with their subsciption app, some say it does, other say it is compatible in some situation, and then others agian say not at all, this depends entirely on the individual you are put in contact with. Also what bold does not tell you is YOU CAN'T USE COMPARE AT PRICES when using this app, at least that's what they told me, although it does work in some situations and not in others, i have doubts about this explanation, as it should be a general problem with compare at prices, but it just isn't, so i suspect this is just a way to go arround seriously helping me with my issue. The issue i have is that even though i have set a custom pricing at 20% the discount on the shop, some items are not discounted at all and others have the wrong discount, the explanation from bold is that i have compare at prices on my products, but this just doesn't add up cause it works on some products and not on others, so i would expect such an incompatability to result in the same issue all the time on all products, which it doesn't. You sould also be prepared that communication with bold requires an enormeous amount of patience. Bold almost always tries to take the easy way out, which in combination with the extremly long response times, means it could take weeks to solve a simple issue. Somtimes it even feels like they misunderstand on purpose, just to postpone the issue and make you give up on the request. Trust me on this, if you are considering using bold, move on! Try to find another app, you are really going to spend so much time discussing, explaining and pushing for an answer, it is simply not worth your time. This is a culmination of a series of very bad experiences with bold, also with other apps from them, and every time you need help, you will feel lost and frustrated, and i think they really deserve an honest review, that explains others what to expect. Who knows maybe it will be heard somewhere in the top of the organization, so that they realize that they are just not providing the support that you would expect of an app developer of this size!

The app works well, it shows the discounted (wholesale) pricing on the category pages in addition to the product pages. Customer support is very helpful.

We have been using Bold Apps Customer Pricing for going on 2 years. We chose Bold Apps because of their expertise, range of diverse market leading apps, time saving features and of course the ability to offer quick and effective customer service. This App in particular has been pivotal in helping to develop and grow our wholesale business. At first like all Apps there is a leaning curve however once you have the basics down, its really quiet a powerful, stable piece of gear and very easy to use. Especially with the recent upgrade, which really helped simply the processes even further and help with the logic. Point being however, Bold do spend time reviewing their products and are always looking out for improvements. This of course helps people like me do my job more effectively and helps to go on and impress our customers as well! A quick note on the customer service which is severely lacking with most business these days - Bold are really on the Ball. A special shout out to Guri and Guru Harry who helped with a particularly puzzling issue that turned out to be a confussed customer logging in and out at different times to circumvent the system. So, well spotted guys. Nailed it. And to Bold, you have a very happy and loyal customer over here in Australia. I will certainly be looking to add more Bold Apps to our systems knowing the level peoffesionalism, skill and quality of your Apps. Keep up what you are doing - dont change a thing : )

We've been using several Bold products since moving our shop a couple of months ago, and they're great! Had a small hiccup today and Parminder was quick to find the problem and fix it within minutes! The best!

Wow! that was the best experience I've had so far with any app. Had a really terrible locking app and decided to try this app out to streamline. i contacted support and spoke to guri and literally in a matter of minutes i was contacted by Iurii who let me know he was installing it. in a matter of minutes it was done. i was stunned. and our site is poppin! BOLD i have no idea what changes you've made but your support team is definitely taking it up a notch! thanks guys!!!!

We were having pricing issues so an urgent request was sent out. Despite the time difference, they sent back a response (almost immediately), filled with detailed instructions, screenshot images, and with a genuine passion to help. That last part, you have to truly appreciate - Technical expertise is one thing, but to be genuine in your passion to help others, that's another.
