Custom Pricing: Wholesale B2B

I really like this app's approach to discount pricing. With our site, coupon and discount codes were having a negative effect. Customers would leave checkout, look for coupon codes, and they may or may not return (and if they did, they would pay less than they were already willing to pay). This is such a better way of handling discounts in my opinion--especially for creating wholesale- or commission-based customer accounts. I will say the installation is a bit of an undertaking, but they do provide a detailed guide for getting it done. If you're somewhat comfortable with coding, you can take this approach. But, the customer support is great and very responsive, so just take advantage of that if you run into any problems. Thanks guys!

Love this app! The support team has been prompt and very helpful with all the questions I've had. It delivered what it promised and we are going to extend our use past the free trial period.

After using this app for several months, I've found it not to be all it's cracked up to be. It doesn't integrate with other apps well. Customer service is not great either. I had an issue that went round robin with emails to these folks, who have too many Indians and not enough Chiefs on the other end. In the email string, it went on for over three weeks with the issue never being resolved and then they ended up saying it was my fault. I requested a credit for the month that I couldn't use the app while they were not doing anything to solve it and they simply ignored my request. Not good customer service in my opinion. Customer retention is far more important than a $29.99 credit in my opinion. Not to these folks. They just simply ignore you! If you are a small business, dependent on support of an app for your Shopify store and need fast response and solutions, I would recommend shopping around for another app for your Wholesale needs. I have another issue with the app now and because of the circular email ride I took with them last time, I can't get my problem solved lest I hop on that crazy train again just to get left at the station anyway.

We receive a large number of order requests from our wholesale partners via phone. We quickly realized that this process was cumbersome and could not scale without additional resources. There are several amazing opportunities that we can now take as a company that were before, unattainable. In a word, this app is fantastic and we're very happy to be using it.

This is our second paid app from Bold. Really like the customer pricing app. This app has allowed up to setup an very complex dealer login and pricing program with 4 different wholesale pricing level's. Overall I'm very happy with the app and it's functionality

Great App, One major issue though, people can combine customer pricing rate and discount codes. Typically I run 20% coupon code via pop up windows when you land on the website or via remarketing. An existing customer can combinea reduce pricing let's say 20% + a 20% discount code...Which makes the app not really usable with my pricing strategy. Half the blame on shopify that is very limited with Discount code options. Hope you guys can do something about it because this is really hurting the concept of your app... Having few apps from you and knowing how you frequently add features on your product I'm hoping you can find a solution to that problem...

We have only really used the app for a week now. We do like it for the most part. It mainly does what we need. There was a couple things that we requested help on and they immediately got back to us with an answer. The liquid installation was done within a day. Would definitely recommend this app!

We can't thank Bold Apps enough. The wholesale and VIP pricing has been a tramendous addition to our shop and it was so easy to setup. Our customers are already loving it!

Love this app! It's pretty easy to set up and when I had issues the customer service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone wanting to offer wholesale prices to certain customers in the same shop as retail. Thanks!!

If you need this app, you need it really badly--and there aren't any other options. Fortunately, this one is great. It gives you the ability to do a lot of important things, and the support has been way above and beyond the norm. We got a lot of customization done on this one, and Bold Apps has been an absolute delight to work with.

Great application. Any lack of documentation was more than made up for by the stellar support team. They even got back to me on a Saturday! Friendly and knowledgeable, they knew the answers to my questions before I even knew what to ask! 10/10

Has the features I need. Very confusing liquid installation process, you will probably have to shell out an extra $40 just to get up and running.

It took them a mere day to install the app after I ordered it, and now I FINALLY have the option to give my vendors a wholesale portal.

We have been trying to get a system to sell to wholesale and retail customers for over a year. After waiting and waiting on the old developers to do what they promised we decided to try the Customer Pricing App. We paid for the liquid install and they delivered faster than promised. After watching the online videos we spent less than one day loading over 600 products into 35 different discount groups. My only request would be a way to pull this pricing directly from our Point of Sale inventory system.

More powerful than I expected. It works fine for automatically allocating customers to discount groups based on spend or activity - which is what I was looking for. However, the auto-tagging also allows customer segregation without necessarily applying a discount which has been excellent for targeting emails. Definitely recommend it !

Loving the app so far. I would highly recommend.

The app is finicky and often shows wholesale pricing to regular customers. Conflicts with the product discount app which now shows regular pricing as the compare to price...not sure how to fix that... Terrible customer support. Took 12 days to get a response as to why the app doesn't work the way it's shown in the demo site and in the marketing video. "Wholesale" customers sign in and get wholesale pricing but the demo shows a simple label showing them they are in fact receiving discounted pricing. Nope. The app doesn't work like that. They want $125 to put the word Wholesale beside the price - a feature that is shown as included in all materials. Watch out for the extras with these guys.

Being tight on time I took advantage of their paid installation service and I could not have been happier! We do a significant amount of wholesale business and did not want to have to install and maintain an entire separate store -- so looking forward to putting this to work!
