Could never get this to work and will discontinue the app. Have been paying for months thinking I would turn it on at some point, but have decided it is not worth the effort. Will just continue to build multiple products for retail and wholesale. Service started out at a 5 star and dropped to 2 stars since it would take days to get a response to attempted fix, to another few days to attempt to fix what the first attempt broke. Never did get it right. What a waste.

Recommended to use this for Quantity Breaks by Bold Support, as their quantity breaks app was broken. Worst thing we ever did. Sales down because it doesn't show 'From' prices on the collection pages and also when customers buy the quantities with discount doesn't get applied to the order, so totally useless. AVOID if using for quantity breaks.

I honestly feel sorry for the bold technicians because the bold apps are so incredibly flawed that no one seems to know how to fix them. I had nothing but issues with the customer tiered pricing & wholesale app for months after installation and the issues never really got resolved...not to mention incredibly looooong response times and if it's the weekend...forget about it. Trying to trouble shoot this app was like rocket science or something and in the end I was told that the app was not compatible with either of my themes. Then why was I paying $50 a month for it for like 6 months if it wasn't compatible to begin with? That app thoroughly messed up all of the pricing in my shop, created terrible glitches in my shopping cart and suggested products and slowed my refresh rate waaaaaay down. It was seriously taking about a minute for each page to load. So I know I lost customers over this...don't really want to know how many. I will never use a bold app again! And I do not blame it's technicians. They are doing the best they can with what they have been given...bless their hearts. This was a miserable long drawn out experience and a total waste of my time and energy...long hours and days of conversing with their technicians only to in the end have to uninstall the app and clean the mess it left behind in my shop which included having to manually go in and delete all the variants on every individual product in my shop...I have about 100! It was a total nightmare and I do not recommend any bold app to anyone! Don't waste your time or your money.

I have been using the app for a couple of months now, and i am not at all satisfied with it, but i also can't have my shop without it. Just to warn others before making your shop depend on it. First of all, support from bold is EXTREEMLY slow, so when you have an issue, prepare yourself to be really patient. Second of all, Bold can't agree internally if this app works with their subsciption app, some say it does, other say it is compatible in some situation, and then others agian say not at all, this depends entirely on the individual you are put in contact with. Also what bold does not tell you is YOU CAN'T USE COMPARE AT PRICES when using this app, at least that's what they told me, although it does work in some situations and not in others, i have doubts about this explanation, as it should be a general problem with compare at prices, but it just isn't, so i suspect this is just a way to go arround seriously helping me with my issue. The issue i have is that even though i have set a custom pricing at 20% the discount on the shop, some items are not discounted at all and others have the wrong discount, the explanation from bold is that i have compare at prices on my products, but this just doesn't add up cause it works on some products and not on others, so i would expect such an incompatability to result in the same issue all the time on all products, which it doesn't. You sould also be prepared that communication with bold requires an enormeous amount of patience. Bold almost always tries to take the easy way out, which in combination with the extremly long response times, means it could take weeks to solve a simple issue. Somtimes it even feels like they misunderstand on purpose, just to postpone the issue and make you give up on the request. Trust me on this, if you are considering using bold, move on! Try to find another app, you are really going to spend so much time discussing, explaining and pushing for an answer, it is simply not worth your time. This is a culmination of a series of very bad experiences with bold, also with other apps from them, and every time you need help, you will feel lost and frustrated, and i think they really deserve an honest review, that explains others what to expect. Who knows maybe it will be heard somewhere in the top of the organization, so that they realize that they are just not providing the support that you would expect of an app developer of this size!

Really is a terrible app, or developers do not understand the Ecommerce Business, This app was supposed to be simple, it changed my pricing of products, disabled my google merchant shop feed because of the prices, disastrous. BEWARE and enter with caution.

BLOODY NIGHTMARE Can't take advantage of Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram sales channels because all your wholesale prices will be exposed. Not to mention, any time they do a liquid update, ALL MY WHOLESALE PRICES ARE EXPOSED ON MY WEBSITE. NEED HELP AFTER HOURS? Forget it. I'm losing money as I write this review because I happen to not notice this happened today until now, almost 6PM CT. I am running a sale combining this app with the Product Discount app, which works fine together, BUT after the liquid code install apparently NO ONE BOTHERED TO CHECK IF THAT HAD AN EFFECT ON MY WEBSITE, WHICH IS EXPOSING MY WHOLESALE PRICES ON ALL SALE ITEMS. Think about it, the sale is 40-50% off retail and the WHOLESALE PRICES ON THIS SALE IS BEING EXPOSED! THAT IS MY FREAKING COST!!! Today was the first day I tripled my Facebook Ad spend to this specific collection so I can liquidate this collection's stock and I'm getting a ton of customer service emails wondering wtf is up with the prices. They are confused and I'M LOSING SALES. Extremely pissed.

Had the app for years. They suggested we move to draft order pricing in December, ruined our whole site and dealer programs. Wasted about 50 hours getting it all fixed and back to the Variant version, lost thousands of dollars in lost orders. Fast forward to April, they update something in the app and now pages won't load. Support doesn't understand anything you are saying, wasted about 60+ hours and lost tens of thousands in orders. They're basically saying our size store can't be supported by this awful app, but they had no problem supporting me paying for it. On to find a different app, I'll update when we find a good replacement so you know where to look too. Don't waste time and money on Bold apps, the support is an absolute joke. Bold does not care about customers.

I wanted to use this app in combination with Recharge recurring billing software - but unfortunately it doesn't work. This would only have been a 1 star reduction (or no review at all as I have only limited experience with the app, and it doesn't explicitly say anywhere it will be compatible with Recharge) except for the awful experience with uninstalling. I tried to use their internal uninstall tool, which seemed to work - apart from the fact it broke every price in my store (each throwing missing liquid file exceptions). Luckily the site isn't currently live, so I reinstalled and then uninstalled via the Shopify app dashboard. This though doesn't remove any of the files/products the app has created in your system leaving you with unwanted clutter. Essentially it seems once you install, you cant get rid of the files this app adds without breaking your store.

BEWARE! This app will create options and variants for every tag and pricing group you create and causes major theme and site errors! I do not recommend this app at all. They did not clearly explain how this app affects the site even after I had requested information and then after installing their customer support was non-existent. Ended up having to clean up 4 duplicate variants across 1300 skus by myself! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS. It will mess up your site. It also does not work with coupon codes nor with 3rd party inventory systems.

Absolutely awful customer support, we contacted 4 days ago, nobody bothered to help us properly install the app. The app installation completely screwed up the theme and regular customers couldn't put orders through. We ended up uninstalling this and lost money over it.

I've been looking for a wholesale app for awhile. Made the mistakes of not turning off groups that created a nightmare so I had to uninstall the app and vix all variants it created. Well while looking for another app made the mistake of reinstalling this one again. Charged me $50 and didn't understand why till I realized it was the same app I tried the previous week. Cancelled it again. BEWARE if you are not careful this app will show all your wholesale pricing to everyone and it's not an easy fix. It creates extra variants and it is time consuming as all hell

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES INSTALL THIS APP. IT'S CHANGED ALL THE PRICING ON MY STORE SO EVERY PRODUCT YOU VIEW IS THE PRICE OF WHATEVER YOU LAST VIEWED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I PAID FOR THE $40 INSTALLATION FROM BOLD WHICH TOOK 4 DAYS AND NOW I CANT GET THEM TO REMOVE / FIX THE FLAWED CODE THAT'S NOW LITTERED THROUGH MY SITE ALSO, THEY SAY LEAVE THEIR CODE WHEN YOU DELETE THEIR APP. WHICH MEANS THEIR BROKEN CODE REMAINS ON EVERY LITTLE LIQUID PAGE THROUGHOUT YOUR STORE. I'VE DELETED THE APP AND IT STILL SHOWS WRONG PRICING. Working with Bold was an absolutely nightmare. This app is not meant for real businesses. We are a manufacturer of science equipment with over 1,200 SKU's and this app actually lost us money. From double discounting tiered wholesale customers and double dipping monthly promos, discount codes... The app creates duplicate variants in order to track discounts (herein lies it's main issues of compatibility). We had probably 10 cases with Bold and the first rep we worked with was very helpful but the main issue isn't the customer service (although after our first point of contact they failed to really answer and help in the depth we needed after things were messed up) the main issue is the app itself. If you are a small start up or store then this app maybe useful. It has so many issues even things like not having the ability to select a collection to mass discount because we had 'too many' collections. If Bold was honest about saying the needs we had or the size of our store was too big then it could have avoided 90 days of disaster and this poor review.

With all Bold Apps you must really look close at possible issues. Bugs hurt your site and customer experience. You MUST get ALL code removed. They tell you you can just uninstall but issues remain. We have asked twice to have all liquid code removed and both times they said they did. In changing themes wholesale default pricing now shows up. It is crazy. Before registration button was gone with the loyalty app. Don't walk, run from this company. Bad software.

Developers forgot to disclose this on their Frontpage: --- THIS PRODUCT HAS BUGS --- --- BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK --- --- ALSO OUR SUPPORT SUCKS --- I have had this app for a few months now and been paying for the premium version. I also have multiple other bold apps. So I'm a good paying customer and they make good money from me every month. Unfortunately the support is always wishy washy. There is never a fix to a problem, always just work arounds that make everything more complicated. If you depend on proper inventory management then this app is simply a nightmare that will make you pull out your hair! Customers in my shop can purchase as "professionals" at discounted prices if they have been approved. However, every-time a professional buys on their account the stock changes completely arbitrarily. I would have 3 items left in stock and after the customer buys there would suddenly be -6. The numbers are always very random and always negative. This leads to many items being out of stock all the time, even though their is stock and it has lost me so much money. Customers see there is no stock, they leave the site and I lose the sale. With over 5000 items in my store it is impossible to check up on each item bought after every order to see if it hasn't gone from inventory of 2 to inventory of -11. My developer and I have opened dialogue with bold to fix this issue, but they were just talking around the point that the stock issue is noted in their READ ME docs and cannot be fixed. However, the issue is much more "buggy" than what they describe there. They have mentioned that there are innate limitations with the Shopify system and that’s what prevents the application from working correctly. However, it doesn’t seem that there is any effort on their part to work with the Shopify team to come to a satisfactory resolution, and I’m just expected to deal with this problem. So how can they charge any money (50 USD per month!) for an application they know will never work properly?!

Bad customer service, had to wait so long to get an answer that is not good answer and it's very complicated to know who you have to talk to. This app bugs with many things like Facebook shop if you have sizing variants. All prices are being visible by your Facebook followers !! It bugs also the filters app because it create for example ( small-retail, small-wholesale...) so you have many many filter unnecessary. It slow down the website, very much !! The hide tags is not clever, it would have been better to make a ( -show ) tag instead of -hide, and choosing not to be visible it's the native solution of Shopify, so the default visitor don't see anything and you avoid many tags for nothing. It double the inventory size because of the way it multiply the variants in order to the quantity of your type of pricing... It creates to much tags that is really not friendly user and not clean in the end if you want to have a simple preview of your tags. Well, I don't recommand that app if you us many apps like me.

I paid for the install and it was installed properly however all the wholesale pricing showed up on my rich pins on Pinterest and Facebook, Before I could catch it, several customers order from the wholesale price. I contacted Bold and their solution was to make duplicate products of my entire store (not doing that). 90% of my traffic comes from Pinterest so I need an app that is Pinterest friendly. Not happy at all for a program that would cost me $300.00 per year.
