For my client, there was a business requirement to collect a lot more customer information than Shopify native could do. As we have also enabled Sparklayer for their b2b business we needed a tool that would work flawlessly with both Shopify and Sparklayer. Helium Customer Fields is easy to use, reliable and while some configuration issues occurred initially, support was prompt and the client is working as desired. Documentation was a bit slim on the ground when I first implemented things, but once I understood their process, it all got easy. Recommended.
Love this review! We built CF because merchants needed custom data collected during registration and it's great to hear that we're still providing exact and robust solutions. We love Sparklayer and have many shops that use both CF and Sparklayer in tandem to accomplish their goals. Customer Fields has been an outstanding addition to our store for two reasons. The robust features and the exceptional support team. The app workflows and variable rules you can create are excellent. It was easy to setup rules for collection tax exempt documents for certain states which is very important for our business. This feature alone has significantly improved our customer experience and streamlined our internal workflows. The support has been amazing! We had some issues with the CSS and Jakin was able to quickly resolve the issue for us. I highly recommend Customer Fields to anyone looking for a versatile and customizable solution.

When someone leaves a bad review on your app, you start sending them emails every day asking them to change it. But when a customer actually needs your help, you donât respond to any emails at all.
We received one ticket from you about a month ago on a Sunday. We replied the next day when we were back in office, and offered a refund. We also sent a follow up to that email, but we didn't receive a reply to either email. You have been issued a full refund. Is it possible that our emails ended up in your spam folder? We follow up with ALL users regardless of their experience. We take extra care with users who have had a bad experience, because creating a good experience is how Helium has done business for over 10 years. In regards to your statement "you start sending them emails every day asking them to change it" is defamatory and wholly unfounded. There is no basis for this comment.

Phenomenal support - I originally left a 1-star review due to a serious flaw: the âapproveâ button wasnât showing on mobile when the list was long â which made it impossible to approve customers on the go. It had been that way for over a year, and I was told it wasnât on the roadmap. - To their credit, Heliumâs leadership stepped in quickly after my review. They acknowledged the issue, pushed a hotfix almost immediately, and offered a credit for the inconvenience. The COO even reached out directly and genuinely owned the situation. - The issue is now resolved, and mobile approvals are working as they should. It shouldnât have taken this long, but the way they handled it once it reached the right person gives me confidence in their willingness to listen and improve. - Thanks to the team for finally addressing it.
