EAS has helped simply something that would otherwise be a lot of hassle. I am suprised by how prompt and helpful responses are from Teemu and team. Even with the introduction of U.S. tariffs, EAS Project have made sure our taxes are set up properly. Shopify should really offer its own IOSS service, but as they dont EAS Project are the only service we would use to make taxes a EU breeze. - Allan

Nice guys, nice system, amazing customer support. Thanks Ross, Aleksandra & everyone else! Only thing is I wish that it was a bit easier and cheaper to pay via paypal - I get many orders via paypal and converting currency many times is expensive. But that's more of a paypal issue I guess.

Working with EAS has been fantastic. They feel like a small team but deliver first class service even to a small player like us. Attentive, responsive and easy to deal with, I don't know how we would have navigated the EU and UK taxes without them.

Positives: System works well and integrates nicely with Shopify. Customer support is good. Negatives: Be aware that EAS charge hefty fees for delayed payment (11% interest + late payment fee). You get 10 days to pay after receiving the monthly invoice. I have had some issues with bank transfers arriving late (e.g., security holds pending documentation) and if this happens it can cost you a lot. You can pay using a payment link but EAS charge an additional 3% if you use that. Also bear in mind if you do happen to have very low sales in any month, the cost of the service per order will be high (e.g., 79 euro monthly fee with 10 EU sales = 7.90 euro per order).
Thank you for your feedback, and for being our customer! Just a quick note that you can change your EAS plan every month. You are not locked in. If you have lower monthly sales, the Starter plan at €19.90/month includes 15 transactions and may be a better fit. Changes made before the 25th apply to the next month. We are very ambitious about our service, and your feedback helps us improve. I would also like to explain why we handle certain matters the way we do. You have been with us for a while, and we value that relationship. Based on that trust, we have often paid your EU taxes on time even before receiving your payment to protect you from potentially severe penalties across multiple member states. For context, Finland alone charges €45 per late payment. Our late interest rate (11% p.a.) and flat late fee reflect the real risk and workload we assume on your behalf. Bank transfers in the SEPA area are generally fast. However, if you experience bank-related delays (e.g., security checks or documentation holds), please let us know, we are happy to waive any late fees caused by such issues, as long as we are informed. We recommend using SEPA transfers where possible, as they are typically free or very low-cost. Credit card payments via Revolut incur a 3% fee, which we unfortunately cannot absorb, as tax authorities do not allow those charges to be deducted from the taxes collected. I am very pleased indeed with this app and the fabulous customer service too! My IOSS application became complicated (I think due to me having half registered previously) This meant my application took a little longer than it usually does (mine was an unusual situation, as I understand it usually the process is very quick and smooth) but the customer service and regular updates I recived during this time meant I felt well informed and very reassured that my registration was in very safe hands. Now I am registered for IOSS and the app works perfectly. I had a question about invoicing and this was answered promptly and very thoroughly. I honestly could not be happier with this app and the help I have received from the staff.

After a few teething problems, EAS has gone above and beyond to help ensure my EU orders are processed easily and has been available to answer any questions I have. I highly recommend them.

Such an easy 5 star review. The exact system we'd been looking for, to make our EU orders easier with customs. We've already seen the difference in customer service, with our orders flying through customs via IOSS and arriving quicker with the tax fees handled upfront. The onboarding was superb too. We had a few quirks to deal with (we sell some books with zero VAT, but they're not always zero rated in the EU) and the team configured everything for us and got us all up and running with the minimum effort from us. Thank you!

Really quick and easy installation of IOSS on my Shopify website; I barely had to do anything! And appointing EAS as the Authorised representative for GPSR was easy and the most affordable option I've found too. I would recommend them!

Huge thanks to Peter from EAS who has been amazing in helping us set up our Shopify store so we can, once again, sell into the EU. Peter set up the tax side of Shopify and carefully guided us through what we needed to do from our end. What I thought was going to be a very complicated process turned out to be very quick hassle free.

What a responsive and professional team! They helped me along the tedious process of getting my german and UK VAT numbers as well as answering all my questions. The whole tax thing for e-commerce is quite a misty territory. EAS was able to give me a lot of clarity on that! 100% recommended for you Ecom store!
