Creates a lot of bloat. Don't recommend it. Not a perfect page builder.

To explain a bit more, our developer team has already built a newer Flexbox-based system (sent you the preview via our chat support). We haven’t released it widely yet because we want to make sure the update is safe and smooth for every store. I’ve checked your account and tested multiple pages in both the editor and the live view, and everything appears to be working normally on our end. I've never had a worse experience with an app. While building a product detail section, rows were deleted with no apparent reason why, and the app doesn't have an UNDO function. HOURS wasted. DO NOT recommend.

We checked again and did not find any support request or chat from you, so unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to assist in time. Regarding the issue, the app cannot delete rows on its own. In most cases, this happens when the user is focusing on a specific row or element and accidentally presses the Delete key on the keyboard. And in case something is removed by mistake, EComposer does provide Undo/Redo buttons on the top-right of the page editor, which allow you to instantly revert recent changes. We truly want to understand what happened on your side. Could you please try reproducing the issue once more and share details with us? We installed this app over a year ago and never actively used it. Unbeknownst to us, it was interfering with our checkout process causing customers to be redirected to the homepage instead of completing their purchase. We only discovered the issue after months of lost conversions and confusion. There were no warnings, no visible errors, and no indication that the app was still injecting code or affecting the storefront. This kind of silent interference is unacceptable. If you’re a merchant, check your theme and test your checkout thoroughly in incognito mode as this was never a problem with our existing cookies. If you’re the developer, please build in better safeguards and clearer documentation about what your app does in the background.

However, we’d like to clarify that EComposer cannot interfere with the checkout process in any way. Due to Shopify’s strict platform restrictions, no third-party page builder app, including ours, has access or control over the checkout page or its behavior. In your case, we also noticed that after installing the app, no pages were created or published through EComposer, which means our app didn’t inject any active content or code into your storefront. Once uninstalled, all EComposer assets are automatically removed as well. It’s possible that another script, theme customization, or third-party app may have been responsible for the issue you experienced. BE CAREFUL! The worst experience in my life, run away from this app, the pages are very slow, takes a lot of time to make it all ready, and the customer support VERY BAD

It is truly disappointing to see that this company has replaced human interaction with automated responses. When a human representative does respond, they simply send a link, leaving the customer to resolve the issue independently. The quality of your service has been steadily declining. Considering the price, it's also surprising that none of your themes include a header, while your competitors do offer this feature. I used to appreciate your service, but unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it. It’s time for me to move on to other, more affordable and comprehensive apps.

I kept reporting for this again and again. They have kept a watermark and I saw no code on my Shopify for the same and have also reported to support and the support didn't support me properly so I had to post this. Not trustworthy

Die App ist leider sehr unübersichtlich und wurde daher von uns wieder deinstalliert. Dabei haben wir exakt die Anweisungen zur Deinstallation befolgt und es bleibt dennoch Code in und verschiedene Dateien zurück. Was zu Problemen im Frontend führt. Der Support liest unsere Nachrichten offensichtlich nicht vollständig oder ist nicht in der Lage korrekte und ausführliche Antworten zu geben. Alles in Allem eine wirklich schlechte Erfahrung mit der App.

Please do not install this app. This app injected code that ruined our site, after installing it nothing was working...NOTHING! Our menu is gone, products not displaying, the shop is not working, same with menus, footer. Every hour the site is down cost us money. Now we don't know what to do to go back and have the site functioning again. We will need to spend money with a developer to get the site back. Apps like this shouldn't be even allowed, the damage caused is considerable, there's no easy way back to recover what you have built. Even the support doesn't know what happened and how to fix it.

After thoroughly investigating the issue, we found that there was a conflict between EComposer Page Builder and the Locksmith app. And the issue has been fixed within few hours. It's important to note that Locksmith has a notice on their site indicating that their app is not compatible with page builder apps (so every other page builder can get the same issue). We did make it compatible from our end previously, maybe Locksmith had some updates recently so that cause the issue. I believe everything is fine now on your site. I am dissatisfied with the eComposer app. From the moment it was installed, it completely disrupted the layout of our Shopify site by changing the default fonts, despite the settings being correctly configured in our theme. The font that is supposed to display for regular text is Lora, but Playfair Display appears instead. This issue is unacceptable for a professional online store. The customer support tried to help, but it was useless. I strongly discourage anyone from using this app if they want to maintain a functional and professional Shopify site. It is a waste of time and energy, and it negatively impacts the user experience for our customers (the typography imposed by the theme is not pleasant to the eye and drives potential customers away from our store). Very disappointed.

Regarding the issue you mentioned: When importing a page if you select "Global typography, colors" option, it applies the styles across the entire site, which may have caused the changes to your fonts. You had better select the "Sections data" option when importing data. We had reset the form settings for you and also send follow up email with more details to assist your case better. It pains me to do this but unfortunately I have to revise my review as they basically cost me everything and my entire store is shot because of their actions. Be aware that if you have to deactivate your store for any period of time, they will delete all of your templates and data after 30 days. This is what happened to me and it resulted in my entire business going under. Templates gone that I spent hundreds of hours creating and perfecting and even writing custom code for. It's just not a professional way to manage a service if you're charging the amount you are per month. I cannot recommend this app as they hold your data for ransom essentially and that's not fair to the user. This is not a good experience and it has cost me everything and a lot of wasted time and turmoil. They also will only email you the warning of deleted data about 1 day before they delete it which is malicious.

About your pages created in EComposer, we will remove all data after 30days of uninstallation to ensure user data privacy. An email will be sent to the user right after uninstalling the app to notify them about data removal. But in your case, you actually deactivated your store, and your pages were deleted from EComposer. We tried to restore everything for you, and I hope they are all good now. Thought I had found a godsend as I believe shopify's standard website editing tools to be pretty clunky and boring. Unfortunately after a few days of use the edits i made on the app were not reflecting on the published web page. I reached out to customer support for help, and was told the problem had been fixed. The problem had most definitely not been fixed, which i relayed back to the customer support agent i was dealing with. This happened three more times. Finally i got an email back that had fixed my problem. Guess how. They deleted half of the contents of my page which i had spent hours adding. Voila! That'll do it! Absolutely criminal that these people are paid to work in the CS industry

But it seems that the conversation was not smooth and our staff did not really understand your question right. I have to say sorry about that! Related to your concerns, I want to clarify somethings here a bit: The height of the section completely depends on the height of the content inside, to reduce the height of the section, we need to arrange and optimize the content inside. Too many glitches happened. Not easy to use. And the drag and drop function is awful. Tried using their support team, who couldn't help at all. And every time I had to start with a new support person from the start, for the same issue

Just looked ecomposer up on the shopify app store and was shocked to see that it has 4.9 stars. Then i scrolled further and saw MY OWN account name had left a 5 star review - a review that was clearly not written by me. Then it clicked, they're somehow leaving 5 star reviews on behalf of everyone who gives their support team store access. This is one of the worst apps I have ever used in my entire life. If you still have the opportunity, I beg of you to find an alternative. Terrible UI, constantly crashing, lagging, pushing updates that break everything you've previously done, and an utterly incompetent support team who will not help with a thing except further breaking your website. 0 stars. DO NOT USE

It was a good app before you pay for the plan, It just keeps on getting worst and worst with the customer service.
