works fine as long as i structure my file.

Sorry for making you to structure your file in a strict way, but we find it more safe to explicitly tell what's wrong rather than guessing because guessing can cause misunderstandings on the app side. Theoretically we could offer you to "map" your structure to our fields - but then again, template is not just about columns, but row combinations with different logic, so matching the template precisely is a way how you explicitly tell what result to achieve. Please, write to our Support with your specific suggestions how to improve your experience or the file structure, we are very interested to hear from you - refer to this review when writing. Such a useful tool to have if you have a medium-to-large size catalog. Just now, I used to add a new tag / tag value to all products. Without matrixify, its so cumbersome in shopify to do something like what I just did. But with Matrixify, it was just three columns in excel: Variant SKU, tags, and tags command (MERGE function - to merge the new tag into the existing list of tags). If you're looking for a product-data management solution... matrixify was the answer for us! One last comment: Their AI-chatbot is money! I can never remember all the command functions, so I often ask it what to use, explaining that I am trying to update a metafield or whatever - the answers are quick, show clear understanding, and the answers are right.

One thing however, I found out after messing around for a week is that Matrixify does not play well with Excel and CSV files. Users need to access Googles "SHEETS" to create, Export and Import shopify CSV file to be successful!
Thank you so much for your high rating. 🙏 About the Excel and CSV files - Matrixify fully support those formats, too. You do not have to use the Google Sheets - it's just one of formats to use. Please, write to our Support about the issues you had with the Excel and CSV files, we will either fix those if it's a bug, or will explain, how to work with them. E.g. one typical failure with Excel app is if you just open the CSV file in Excel, it might break the lines from multi-line Body HTML. But that's the Excel issue itself, not Matrixify. To safely open any CSV files in Excel, create a new file, and choose Data -> Get Data. This method loads CSV files into Excel safely, even with multi-line Body HTML texts.
