Holding merchant reviews hostage unless you pay more! DO NOT install this app. Even while actively paying a monthly subscription fee, Fera completely hid my front-end review widgets from my storefront because an outgoing email quota was reached. A review app should only stop sending automated emails when hitting a limit; it should never silently disable basic display functionality that merchants pay for. Support refused to restore my store's widgets unless I upgraded to a higher tier, leaving my review pages broken for months while continuing to charge my card. This predatory practice destroyed my store's social proof and cost me significant sales.
Hi there, We’re sorry for the frustration this caused. We did display notifications about the usage limit, but we understand they weren’t clear enough. We’ve also refunded the four months in question as a goodwill gesture and are reviewing how we communicate these limits to make sure this is clearer going forward.
