I signed up in 2023, and had a great experience, until now. I was offered a free trial on Oct 29, 2023. I downgraded back to the free plan Oct 29, 2024, but was charged $99 for the premium version. I contacted chat support to have this fixed. They let me know that Shopify has to fix it. I contact Shopify, who lets me know that that is incorrect and that Fera needs to apply credits for the charge, and gives me all the documentation to give to Fear to correct the fee. I contact chat with this information, and all of a sudden, 40 mintues go by and no one responds to the chat. I ask what is the hold up? Usually, I can chat and have an issued solved in 5 minutes. But today, I am ignored for over an hour. Chat support comes and says they will review and get back to me. Another 30 minutes goes by. I ask when, he says he is swamped and can't get to me. I ask to be transfered, he says he is the only person online, and there is no phone number. Also, as I am on the free plan, when I went to Shopify's end in the billing settings, Fera is going to charge me $9.99 on Nov, 27, 2024 for a premium plan I DON'T HAVE. DO NOT USE THIS APP. Something is up, and there is no communication when they need to correct billing. I am so disappointed.

Worst app i have ever used. Nothing is structured correctly. It also left code on my website that i now have to pay to have removed. If I could give less stars i would.

I'm not sure what happened because I had been using this app for a few years. It seems they had a rebranding of some sorts. Everything looks different plus all of the reviews I had have been deleted. I won't be using this app anymore and I cannot and will not recommend this app to anyone moving forward.

I didn't like it. It was too difficult to use and embed into my Shopify website. Not great for digital products.

This useless app decided to delete all my reviews and just keeps saying something went wrong. Pathetic app and not worth it at all. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

The app has developed into rather unfortunate direction. First of all, they put their logo everywhere. Secondly, it's hard to manage the reviews, you have to approve or disapprove and can't just delete the review or unpublish them. And the most important factor is the cost: it is too expensive for what it is. Compared to other aps that offer more functionality, better design and easier handling for free or for much much less, I see absolutely no reason in using fera app for shopify.

I am surprised that there are so many good reviews, as I had an awful experience using this app. The custom incentive function is broken, so I can't reward customers with points from our rewards app (Smile) that is integrated with Fera. I've been emailing their team for weeks, get a lousy response with no helpful information on expected timelines from their engineers, thank them for their "update", and then don't hear from them for a week until I circle back to them for an update. I've become straightforward in my requests to get actual time estimates and have been ignored. Very disappointed. Uninstalled Fera and am moving forward with a different app.
I'm sincerely sorry for the trouble! There was, in-fact, no bug here, but rather just a rare miscommunication between our engineering team and our support team which resulted in your delayed resolution. The issue stemmed from our new loyalty app support for review submission rewards (Joy loyalty, Bon loyalty and more) so you’re not stuck to 1 loyalty app. In doing so we added some confusion about how our Smile loyalty integration is configured. The engineering team was working on some UI improvements that created the confusion for you in the first place which took a few weeks to complete, but that should not have delayed letting you know how to continue with our partner Smile.io without problem. I sent you an email before seeing this review about how we're going to DO BETTER for all merchants in the future to prevent further communications and how we're going to COMPENSATE you for the troubles. Not Suitable for Aliexpress. They do not offer to import revies from aliexpress. someone suggested me this but DISAPPOINTED
Hey, hey! At the moment, you can only import reviews from CSV, Amazon, Etsy, Facebook and Google, but you can't import directly from AliExpress yet. Can you please let us know who told you this information? We haven't announced this anywhere. Best regards, Vasko - Fera Team.

DELETE NOW!!!! Fera automatically setup a coupon code for 2 of my products without my authorization!! This is a serious breach of my websites security I feel!!!! This is something I would have never done on my end of things!!!! DELETE it and find something better!!!!
Thank you for your review! We are sorry to see you go. Fera will never automatically setup incentives (coupons, discounts, etc.) for our merchants. We also are not able to create discounts for individual products. While you are able to create incentives for one-time or automatic review requests, it must be manually added when creating a review request campaign. The only way for the app to create discounts is for the merchant to have done so from the Fera dashboard. It would be inappropriate for us to do this and a violation of trust! Don't even bother using the "free plan" you only get 1 widget so a product can even have the ratings and reviews at the same time. Waste of time.

Pathetic app. I can't change users. The verification email never shows up. Now I will have to find another app that can actually work.
The reason you weren't able to verify is because your email was bouncing since it was not fully set up yet. Not really a Fera issue, but we've figured it out for you. Check your inbox for instructions on how to continue. PS: We responded to your message which you sent at 10:38pm on Sunday calling our team "stupid f*****g dips***s" this morning, despite it being Family Day holiday here in Canada. 😅

The UI of the app is great but there are really bugs everywhere. I had to message support every step of the way. Finally a display bug had to be looked at by their IT. It's been 3 days without any feedback, after 3 days of trying to get it set up. Moving to one of the many other competitors, please test your apps before launching.

I installed the app and had issues with it importing reviews. I followed all instructions however its not working. I lodged an enquiry in the chat, it's been 5 hours and it's still not resolved. Getting a response is at least a 30min wait (it says someone will respond in a few min, unfortunately thats not true) and then a reply after is approx 20 to 30minutes. It's now 2:30am. Issue isnt resolved. I've got smile and yotpo and the responses are much faster, it appears the fera team is either really small and need more online agents or just not as responsive, either way the customer doesnt get assistance. So far it's been a poor experience.

Are you serious?? This app was $9/months with unlimitted skills. Several days ago my site do not loaded any of your skills and I have unistalled. I istalled again and the app want to charge me again! And now I saw new prices here!!!! Why???? I was customer for several months and now I have to choose a new plan with only 3 skills???????? NEVER EVER! Thank you.
Thanks for providing feedback, and sorry for the troubles. You were using more than your plan was allowing you to but we were just not enforcing the limit on your account as a courtesy. After you uninstalled and re-installed the system was just doing what it's supposed to do and recommend you subscribe to the plan that supports all the features you are using. Anyways, we're not looking to "nickel and dime" you, and if you get in touch with out team we'll work out a plan that works better for your business.

Hey your first review of the app was a 5/5 and then you changed it to a 1/5. You're still using this app today and only started using it recently, so I'm surprised that this is your review. Is there anything we can help with?

Used the app for a few days, didn't like it so much so i've uninstalled it. Found it just a few days later that the app left traces and kept on displaying on my product page- which caused a conversion drop.
Unfortunately Shopify has no means to automatically remove integrated HTML code upon uninstallation of an app because as soon as the app is uninstalled they revoke access to the store so nothing can be done by the app anymore. The Shopify team has indicated that they are working on improving this process, and we do have help articles on our website that we send to anyone who uninstalls our app to help them out with these steps.

There are so many great reviews from before, but i couldn't get it to work. I think the app must be having issues now even from the last review it says the app crashed. After installing the app, I clicked Browse Marketplace Skills and it took me to a screen and just kept spinning the heart. I even tried to refresh a few times. Maybe they cannot support this many stores anymore...

totally misleading says its free buts try to charge you for monthly at $49.99 for a whole year ,.
THIS REVIEW IS INACCURATE! You will NOT be charged for your 1-year trial. This person didn't read the trial authorization screen... Try it for yourself and you will see - no charges. It really is a great deal. 😁
