Have had some great support from Georgi and Zeus. We have been working through some issues with duplicate code, issues with Elevar implementation and Google Ads tracking and GA4 tracking and have managed to resolve everything with the help of the Consentmo support team. Thank you for your assistance and patience.

I’ve been using Consentmo for about a year — the app is great, easy to use, and does what it promises in terms of cookie compliance. However, I suspect it may have affected my Meta Ads retargeting campaigns. While I’m not 100% sure, I noticed that during the time I was using Consentmo, my retargeting audience stayed unusually small. Since I disabled the app and switched to Shopify’s native cookie banner, my Meta Ads retargeting has been working much better. It seems like there might be something in the way Consentmo handles Facebook Pixel events or consent for tracking. Again, I can’t confirm the link with certainty, which is why I’m still giving 3 stars. But if you're running Facebook Ads and notice issues with retargeting audiences, it might be worth checking if Consentmo is impacting your Pixel data.
HI there and thanks for sharing your experience. Would you be willing to turn off the Shopify cookie banner and enable ours back on so we can check the setup and look into this further? It is really strange the case you are reporting, as our app is fully integrated with the Shopify Customer Privacy API, which means that our cookie banner basically works in the same way as the native one from Shopify. Let us know if you are okay with making these changes, so we can check the store further.🙂 We will be looking forward to your input!
