Very happy with Gelato. Integration with our Shopify store works great and is very easy to manage. Really helpful support staff too - always there and easy to work with. Product range is great and production and delivery has already proven better than some other POD providers. Thanks Gelato.

I’m new to the Gelato app, and their service. However they have a seamless integration system, their product quality is bang on with the quality I sell in our Brick and Mortar stores and their customer service is amazing!

Good quality products, worldwide delivery and relatively fast customer service. However the order platform is somewhat buggy and prices for product tend to be increased with short notice (or even no notice).

The integration with Shopify works impeccably. Things that I would change: - If you published a product with shipping included, you cannot change the option later - for the personalize design the image resizing tool behaves weird. Over all, I'm pretty happy with it by now.

I've tried a few POD and Gelato has been my preferred for a number of reasons. The app integrates well with my sales channels so that orders are automatically fulfilled. The customer service from Gelato is pretty incredible, I get responses to all inquiries very quickly and have a resolution in time to responds to my customers so that they aren't waiting either. Highly recommend Gelato for your POD integration with Shopify!

I've been using this app to sell art prints and have been really enjoying it. The decentralized production model is something that I really love both from a cost/time savings standpoint but also it is so much better for the environment. The paper prints have always been fantastic, but I have had quite a few hiccups with metal prints along the way (my first order was a metal print and they sent me someone else's piece, the replacement had holes cut in it for acrylic prints. And a third order more recently had no mounts included). Each one was fully refunded and replaced very quickly, and my customers have so far had no problems like this whatsoever after a year of selling on here. TLDR: The idea behind this app is fantastic, the products are great, there may be a few hiccups but so far it has definitely been worthwhile.

UPDATE: I had a chat with customer service and the problem was solved. It was a glitch, a pretty annoying one but just a glitch! Everything else has been going well since and customer service was extremely nice. So far so good :) This app is so problematic! It went into some of my shopify settings and changed them, for example it changed the fulfillment of some random products of MINE to gelato for no reason, causing people to not be able to purchase them from my store anymore and making me lose sales! HOW RANDOM IS THAT?? Not to mention how hard it is to ignore products on the platform. Jeez. Can't wait for calendar season to be over so I can erase it and never use it again.

EDIT: I must update my original review. I received a call today from Alyssa from Gelato. She was very friendly and attentive to the issues I brought up. We spent a good amount of time on the phone. It never felt like she was just trying to get me to change this review. I felt as though she cared about the issues and wanted as much detail as possible. while I am still frustrated about the experience detailed below. I do believe that the company cares about us. I've never had a company reach out to me to resolve things before. It really was a pleasant experience. I said it in my original review and I'll say it again the products I have received are absolutely beautiful. After the chat I had with Alyssa I can honestly say I would recommend Gelato. They boast 72 hour delivery times. My first order took a week to be printed. and still hasn't arrived after 17 days. Nothing has arrived in 72 hours. it's impossible to get customer service to answer. If they do answer you won't get a follow-up answer after the first answer clearly doesn't even attempt to answer your question. I gave it 2 stars because if you're lucky enough to receive an order the products are very nice. but beware you'll probably have angry customers looking for their orders and you won't get any answers to give to them.

An update: Ultimately disappointed with their service. Unhelpful and clueless customer service. Uneven print quality. Very limited product range in the apparel category. Confusing and slow design editor that they keep changing all the time and not always for the better. Their price point is still good but that's all.

Excellent application! Gelato delivers high quality poster print with excellent delivery time [3 - 5 days]. Also, if there is something wrong with the order their customer supports always finds a solution! Absolutely recommend!

Working with Gelato has been great so far and I can't recommend them enough. I have been with them for over 5 months now. Product delivery is very fast compared to other POD providers I tried in the past and pricing is very reasonable as well. If there is any issue, the customer service team is always there to help via chat with usually just one minute waiting time. Gelato has gone above and beyond to help us grow and expand our store which included free video calls with their talented team. This personal approach is something that really makes them stand out. Just getting started with Gelato - they called me today to offer extensive support which is wonderful so we can get our colour profiles correct. We are trialling a few of their products and have high hopes of building a wonderful business with them. We will update our review over time with how we get on, but we have made a start and their local delivery and integration with Shopify is a great benefit and much better than the competition as they produce and ship locally in so many countries. A UK customer will expect a product to ship from the UK, whilst a EU or USA customer will also expect local delivery (avoiding tax and delays) and Gelato offer this. We are excited by the potential here.

Cross-continent shipments are unfortunately too common in the print-on-demand apparel industry. At Gelato, we always want to avoid this but sometimes the specific item is sold out and then we send it from other countries. The good news is that in March and April 2021 we are adding 7 new partners for apparel in the EU, North America, and South America. This will significantly reduce the risk for cross-border shipments.
