As a small business, I am all about cheering on companies. I know crap happens and am always willing to give second and even third chances. My head is still spinning from this experience though, but my 3 biggest complaints are: 1. I connected with Etsy and Shopify. I added three products. Within a couple of hours, the products somehow un-synced themselves. I wrote customer service. They wrote back a day later and just said it must be a glitch - sorry, but here's how to fix it. I was a little irritated on day one I had to re-sync items myself without any explanation as to why this happened to begin with. However, crap happens, so I shrugged my shoulders and tried again. I re-synced and added a couple other items. They all un-synced again. I was told their tech team was looking into it and they closed my case right away. Haven't heard back. After a few days, I wrote about the problem again and just got a "so sorry to hear you had issues" response. No help. No answers. Nada. Zilch. 2. My biggest gripe about the actual process of loading products is that other sites let you list various styles in one listing (Printful, teesource, etc) AND you can use the same design file for all products. Each product had various file size requirements, so I couldn't use the same file for a t-shirt as for a hoodie...but you can't use too big of a file for smaller products either. Ridiculous. I ordered a variety of products from 5 other sites and not one of them ever fussed about files and the products turned out great! Furthermore, I had to list every style separately on Gooten, which for SEO reasons, I hated. 3. I ordered samples and have yet to receive them. They are still in production. I ordered sample products from other sites AFTER this sample order and have them back. Dear Gooten, if you can't send out samples in a timely matter, how can I trust you will ship customer orders according to YOUR own set timelines? There are no holidays right now either. I've messaged - no explanation. I asked for my sample order to just be canceled then. They said they couldn't because it is in production. I don't see anywhere where samples have a much longer processing time then regular orders. I might have to get my credit card company involved since they haven't met their own turnaround time and aren't very helpful in offering insight. Like I said earlier, I've ordered from 5 other companies and didn't have ONE problem. I wanted to go with Gooten because they had all the products I wanted to offer, so I wouldn't need more than one app, but I can't believe how horrible of experience this was. I'm glad to find out right away instead of having customers breathing down my neck on top of it all. Steer clear Shopify friends.

I've ordered samples of mugs, bandanas and a 5x7 canvas wrap print, and all have come out well. The mugs are high quality. I can see how t-shirts would be a nightmare to sell through Gooten given the mockup and variant challenges, but give it a chance if you're selling something with only one or two sizes and no other variations. The prices are lower than anything else I've found. Shipping costs are complex but again can be gotten around if your store and variants aren't complex.

Here's a message I sent to their customer support a few moments ago: *** I don't have a request. Just want to make a statement that hopefully someone in your company will see. I have a new Shopify store and am considering which vendor to use for POD. I've connected Printful, Printify, and Teespring so far; am considering Custom Cat. I've gone back and forth about which vendor to use but then ran across you. Great products, excellent prices. I was worried about some of the negative reviews in the app store -- specifically difficulties getting the app to work, and in how it's set up as a workflow. I decided not to sell t-shirts through you because the thought of uploading a design for *every single variation* of a product made me want to scream. So I was going to do some of my products with you -- ones without a bunch of variation per item. And... went to try to set up an account. First I get a security warning that won't let me proceed. So I figured I'd give it a minute and move forward. Then I returned a few minutes later, but because I'd entered my email address *but wasn't able to continue setting up* it said there was already an email address in use. Okayyyy, I'll pick a different email address. Then I try to set up my account and connect to my Shopify store. I enter the information and hit the button "connect my store," it connects for a few moments... then the screen returns, with the wrong information in the Company Name and Shopify URL fields. Try again. Same thing. After each time of trying to connect my Gooten account with Shopify, I return to the Shopify Apps page to see if it's there. Nope. I tried this a few times and I give up. Guys: nothing on your site seems to work! I'm sorry but all those people complaining on the product reviews are trying to tell you something. I've connected now 3 POD apps and they took moments and were a breeze. I really wish you'd get your act together. Because as it is, there's no way on this green earth I'd continue to press on *even if* I could eventually connect my store... there are just too many problems here, and I've only just gotten started. Who knows what would come up down the line when I actually had customers on the line getting frustrated. Please get it together, Gooten!

So far this company has been a bit of a let down. They lost my order and can't seem to find it. I hope they can get better organized and have better customer service in the future! Additionally this company tried charging me again and sending me incorrect information that did not pertain to me.

Absolutely the WORST company to use for POD. I paid full price for a test print on a product. The resulting color print was COMPLETELY OFF. They refused to do a reprint and suggested another full price charge on a sample that was supposedly their own fault for not printing the correct color. I would give 0 stars if possible. They obviously are not interested in getting sales from my 500,000 customer base. Companies like this will be out of business soon.

Gooten is very responsive and really cares about what the end product looks like. I am very happy with them! I also think they have a better than average selection of products compared to others.

I've been using Gooten for the last couple of years and we have been completely satisfied. They go above and beyond for us and we don't see ourselves with anyone else. Looking forward to working with them years to come.

I'm a photographer and artist, and I use the Gooten app on my Shopify website. In fact, it's the only fulfillment app I'm using right now. I like their prices on Prints, Canvas (wraps and framed) and mugs. Customers like the quality and rave about it, so I'm good :-) The website/app for creating products can be buggy at times, but I've never had a problem that I haven't been able to fix or work around. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience and would recommend this app to others.

I recently placed my first sample order. There was a slight problem with one item, but Marta (kudos!) quickly addressed the issue. The other items were very nicely done with great detail and crisp print. There is a large selection of items to choose from and I will definitely be ordering again.

I wanted to write about your Customer support specialist, Ivan Borovic and the exceptional service I received. Not only did he answer me promptly but he investigated a login issue and quickly resolved it. I will always be grateful to him for his quick response and for troubleshooting the problem which could have potentially cost me sales.

I use this app for my online store selling t-shirts and so far I have really liked it the one thing is I add new designs everyday and when adding a new design on gooten you have to adjust it for every size and color its very tidies and takes a lot of time. On other sites you just have to put it on one shirt and it does the rest for you.

So far, excellent product and easy to work with for rectangular items such as tea towels and shower curtains. Haven't tried much else yet. My only complaint is the cost of shipping to Canada. I am not sure I will be able to use for much due to that reason. Shipping three items to Canada $50 and for items that are not that expensive it is hard to bury that cost in the price of the item. And I do like the interface! Very clean and easy, so far!!!

I am artist new to ecommerce after 15 years in B2B sales. My expertise is in person and on canvas. Ecommerce/drop shipping and designing online is new to me but im okay on a computer. Not great. Gooten has helped me avoid a couple of disasters and the store is not even done yet. Their system is simple and if i can get it anyone can. The t-shirts look amazing, the color choices are practically unlimited. And lastly. I am difficult. I dont mean to be but i just want what is promised and never expect anything more. I have never had the pleasure of working with someone who was so dedicated to seeing someones store succeed as Jovana is. Never saw someone go that far above and beyond. I didnt realize how much time she had given to me until i looked at all my emails over the past two weeks. I am floored. She never missed a beat and had a solution for me within minutes of me asking every single time. Class act. Utmost professional. Period. thank you ! Frankie brown dog art design

What I like : >> GENERAL - superb partner support - products are reviewed by real people before getting printed (with default review request option as ON) - production costs are low - packaging : keeps products safe - shipping tracking is UPS (pillow) and USPS (sticker) - trackable and if not, can contact partner support for follow-up - edits in shopify show up in gooten products - the only print of demand for stickers and folded cards that cater to non-bulk or single order items I have found!! >> PRODUCT SPECIFIC : - folded card : print quality of image is fantastic (McCoy Silk double side) - stickers : quality of material is good - really peels easy and can be restuck and the cut is smooth - throw pillow : highly recommended (image print quality is awesome and materials feel high quality - tried cotton and poly twill 14x14 and 20x20) What I don't like : - shipping is too expensive for folded cards for international shipping - guides are not easily accessible (product image dimensions in pixels and bleed margins but a partner support person gave me access to the document in our email convo) - folded card : not reviewed even with review option on and the resulting image placement on card did not match the mockup (the image was centered in the mockup but the actual product had no margin on the right side on the front cover and not margin on the left side in the left inside page) - order was resent to me but I was billed without my consent. ***Update*** they replaced the card free of charge and shipped it to me at no cost too. So very kind of them. They took back the charge. - sticker : image quality is a bit grainy - sticker : option limited to vinyl and is kiss-cut not really die-cut (also no option to make margin between kisscut edge and image smaller) - packaging : no branding options - 2 or more pack image replacement/upload process is a bit confusing (sometimes I can only upload 1 image for all "pages" sometimes I can upload multiple images for each "page" in a pack) I will definitely continue to use Gooten. I would love for more options to be available and the rough edges smoothened out.

I love it! They have great selection! I found it easy to use and design with. Customer service (ie:Jovana!) is outstanding and she has gone out of her way to help me several times!

This has been a nightmare. Its been 3 days since trying to switch my store over from another very popular POD company. Gooten has better prices and variety but also much higher shipping. When pushing a product to your store, you have NO control over the mockups. They are mandatory for ALL variants. Want 8 shirt colors in 5 sizes? Your store will have 40 images with no way to edit them that takes less than an hour or 2. PLUS the mockups are labeled incorrectly, so editing from a csv file is nearly impossible. I REALLY wanted to like this service but its almost unusable. PLUS you need to orient your artwork for each individual variant! This can be done by editing your art for EVERY product by trial and error of uploading, checking if it fits, editing, repeat, because otherwise you would have to edit 80 variants for each T shirt! It's still a functional app but they need to make critical changes and realize many people start stores while working other fulltime jobs. I hope to find work arounds to these very time consuming and frustrating issues but each step forward reveals another clumsy design of this app. If shopify adds bulk delete (crazy that this doesnt exist yet!) a few of these issues would be solved but other sloppy design issues remain. customer service is basically email/ticket only and respond about once or twice a day. they try to be helpful but no chat support = very long timeline to fix one problem.
