The phone is notification is so delayed, by the time you get it the customer already left your store 10minutes ago. - Inbox randomly decides to switch off and not be visible for customers. - Inbox not great for managing conversations, I can see some elements are there - App notifications are not a thread, each message different notification Avoid this until it's more polished and to the level one expects from a massive company such as Shopify.

This app does not support image. you won not able to see on your mobile. it's completely disappointed.

The Shopify Inbox app allows you to upload and share images with your customers via your mobile device; I just tested this myself in my iPhone and was able to share an image successfully. *Extremely stressful experience. Can’t access any messages although I see them there waiting to be read. The app keeps disappearing and giving me the opportunity to download however it still seems uninstalled. Rubbish!

THe app itself is very good but it's switching off so often that I can't say it is in usable state... I'm tired in reinstalling the app and checking everyday if it's working or not.... I will give you a tip - I'm almost 100% sure it's happening due to updates on your side, you need set some king of automation that will trigger every few hours switching on if you can't solve the problem

I installed this app, invested time in tweaking and testing it, added the phone app to be always responsive. No action on the app for since testing. Now I look at my backend and the app is not even there! What's with that?! I like the idea of what it offered, but it didn't come up with the goods :-(

Why we cannot give negative stars?? Minus 1000 for us, it installed by itself on a perfectly working chat (Ping) and is now asking our customers for their phone number to start a simple chat, we basically lost every contact with our customers, shame on you!

Hi, We would give a 0 star If we could. We never added the app on our store and we just received an email saying that a message is waiting via this app. After login, we realize that the app is available and running. Unable to remove it now. Please could you remove it ASAP. Thanks.

It's currently impossible to delete or mark conversations as inactive from the desktop web based version. You will have to download their mobile app in order to do this. How this was published without such a feature for desktop users is baffling to me. Yes, I understand there is a work around but no one runs their full time business from their phone only. And no one who manages a large amount of customer support does it from their phone either.

The only good thing about this is the order lookup. Otherwise it's very, very basic. Needs a lot of improvement to do things like missed chats, tell customers that you're offline, etc.

The App doesn't work for users in Europe, because the chat button physically collides with the buttons of Shopify's Customer Privacy Banner (mandatory for EU shops) which renders it useless. There should be an option which allows to create a vertical offset in order to place it at a working position. Also, when changing the language the button won't resize and displays a chopped off text.

UPDATED REVIEW: Moved to 1 star. No progress has been made with this app. It doesn't load half of the time. There is no way to deleted/complete messages or categorize them still after 6 months and a newly updated name. Still no way to switch between stores. If you have multiple stores, you have to log out and log back in. There is no easy way around this. Original Review: 2 Stars We have 2 stores, we are unable to manage both within shopifyping.com There isn't a way to have a set schedule when our customer service staff shows up to work every day. The message management is clunky and you're unable to filter/archive old messages. When this app gets much needed improvements, my review may change.

This is trash. Magically dropped off the store. Tried to reinstall, doesn't work. chat link takes you to a page asking you to load the app. What a load of sh1t.

The app doesn't work on my phone. it keeps signing me out and I miss messages. Not very useful if it doesnt work half the time.

My biggest problem with this app is that you cannot turn it off after hours. You will have customers messaging you at all hours of the night. Only a small percentage of chat customers convert. Due to the high volume of messages I have been receiving 24 hours a day, I decided to remove the chat from my website. However, when I removed the app properly, the Chat icon did not disappear from the front of my website. I contacted Shopify (because it is their app) and they tried to pawn me off on my Theme developers. Now I have customers trying to use a chat that does not work, resulting in ugly emails. Follow up 11/11/20: This Chat icon is still on my site. Shopify support keeps telling me they removed it, but the icon is still there (only it does not work). We have cleared our cache repeatedly from several different computers, and icon is present. This is the worst customer service.

Super simple app that gets the job of live communication done. However it does not offer any scheduling options so you need to be available 24/7 and it has an non remove-able message about leaving your phone number for a text message reply. I don't want customers having my personal cell number so un-installing this app.

The ability to set hours is available only on IOS at this time, but is coming for Android soon. I agree, it's not easy being available 24/7! Your personal cell phone number will not be shown. If the buyer leaves a phone number, you can reply directly from within Shopify Ping. The buyer will be sent a text message to the number they left from a randomized phone number that Shopify Chat provides - not your own cell phone number. The buyer can stop receiving messages by texting "stop" or by deleting the conversation. We would love to see you re-installing the app if this information helps. I have to uninstall it and install it over and over again every time I want to open it to reply to a customer. Till I do all that, a customer is gone.

App does not open on my android phone, clients as asking questions and I am losing sales thanks to this very bad app. Much better pay for something else.

Very poorly designed app. Missing alot of key features!! would suggest looking into another messaging app
