So far everything looks great. We just installed the app, so time will tell of course. Support was extremely fast and helpful when I ran into a snag during the install. *Update 1/4/24* Woke up this morning and 817 reviews were duplicated on our website 23 hours ago. Contacted support and Mohamed was absolutely infuriating. He tried pushing the blame on to us for importing the reviews. We have literally been driving for the past two days and have not made any changes to our website or any of the apps installed. He kept telling us to turn off the Shop App syndication setting. Fine, that will remove the duplicates. BUT that will also prevent any new reviews collected by the Shop App from being published. So why, all of a sudden yesterday, did the Shop App syndication become a problem? And why would you try to push the blame on the customer? Nothing was changed on our end.
Hi there, thank you for your feedback. Our team has been looking into the issue and was able to find the root cause. Both the reviews from Shop App and from Judge.me should be showing normally now, without duplications. Our apologies for the duplicated reviews and for making you feel like it was your fault. We will make sure this won't happen again.

Thank you for your review! We were adding a new redesign for our app at that time. The redesign brings out many improvements, both UI/UX and new features. However, along with it, there might be some minor bugs, which we've worked on and fixed immediately. Also, you can import the translation using our CSV file template. If you're happy to give us another go, we'd be thrilled to work with you to achieve this. Hope to hear back soon!

Great customer support. However, it was no good for us as they don't allow you to change star shape from rounded to hard edges. So it has a pretty cheap look and feel to it. Perhaps good for dropshipping stores but not higher end products.
Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. The star shapes bare Judge.me branding so we don't support changing it from rounded to hard edges by default. However, it can be achieved with Javascript and CSS. If you're feeling technical or have a developer with you, we're very happy to share with you some tips and tricks to make this happen.

I recently began my Shopify journey and decided to give "Judge.me" a try. Having read numerous recommendations for its user-friendly interface and simple setup process, I was excited to get started. Pros: - Ease of Use: The app truly lives up to its reputation with an incredibly user-friendly interface. I had it up and running on my store in no time. - Functionalities: I love the customizable review requests and automatic post-purchase review requests. They seamlessly integrate with various platforms and work like a charm. - Support: Their support team was responsive when I had a query, which was a plus point for me. Cons: - Pricing: My main gripe is with the pricing of the 'Awesome' plan. While the features are undoubtedly superb, the cost seems a bit steep, especially for someone who is just starting out like me. Overall, Judge.me offers a solid product with great functionalities and is extremely easy to install. However, I would love to see a more accommodating pricing structure for those who are new to the Shopify space. It could make the difference in turning a trial user into a long-term customer.
Thank you very much for your detailed feedback! Besides the Awesome plan, we also have a very generous free plan that will work seamlessly for new stores, especially for email and widget customizations. Our team has reached out to you to discuss it further. Please feel free to let us know your goals and we'll be happy to come up with a suitable solution for you.

Updated. Did not have a good experience w/ their support. They tell you if your reviews are real or not and make you prove it, which isn't cool considering their agents are random people overseas with no authority or eduction surrounding your company history. Will give them a couple more stars becuase they reached out and tried to help. The interface is decent at least.
Thank you for letting us know about your issue and sorry for the frustration. Judge.me prides itself on being a trusted review platform and we have a strict authenticity policy. We automatically verify reviews based on detecting historical order information from Shopify, and our customer support team will verify reviews collected from other sources (e.g. imported reviews or from the web) as long there is evidence that the reviews are associated with a genuine purchase or order from your store. The process is easy - simply send us a screenshot with the relevant orders. That said, you are free to disable this feature if you prefer (we have also done this for you). We're sorry to hear that our customer support agents weren't able to address your concern adequately. We do have agents located all across the globe who are well versed on our products and features to be able to provide timely customer support. Our customer support team has reached out to you and we are available to help and will be following up on your concerns. Look forward to connecting soon!

I signed up for Judge.me and immediately had issues with the formatting of the reviews on our PDPs. It is now the third day in a row where they claim to fix the issues, I check later, and the issues are still there or now exist somewhere else. Giving them another chance before I switch to a different app.
Thank you for giving us another chance to work with your store. Our team lead has reached out and will make sure the issue is fully resolved. Looking forward to continue growing with you!

I had an AWSOME and kind customer service rep once named "Thanh". Then I had the same reoccurring issue that I needed help with a month later, and got connected to a woman named "Zineb" who was very dismissive and short with me as if she could care less. Then I asked her a question, and she then asked me to elaborate just so she could send me a generic copy and paste message that didn't answer my question AT ALL (only five seconds later after I elaborated). Just plain rude to me. Not sure what her issue was. It's almost as IF she had her hopes of catching me trying to verify a fake review because she immediately asked me for proof as if I was lying when Thanh never asked that.. instead, Thanh was just very helpful and kind... . I was trying to verify a REAL customer review... which isn't something that's automatically done, you have to reach out to them to help you do that every single time.

I can't stand reaching AI "Support". The human support felt like a cut and paste. They didn't acknowledge my issue. I've been with you since Sept. 2022. This will prob be the end.

We are downgrading our review from 5 stars to 2 stars after several years of use, as this rating now better reflects our overall experience with Judge.me. Judge.me is clearly built with good intentions. The interface is clean, the app is easy to use, and customer support is responsive, human, and available 7 days a week. On that front, nothing to say — the team genuinely tries to help within the limits of how the product is designed. However, we are now facing a much more serious concern: we are starting to doubt Judge.me’s ability to reliably fulfill its primary purpose — collecting reviews. We have a significant number of POS sales, with real human interactions and customers who are genuinely willing to leave reviews. Even accounting for the usual delay between a purchase and a review, the gap we are seeing is far too large to be considered normal. At this point, we are no longer talking about optimization — but about trust in the system. A reminder system that works against review collection The core issue is the reminder logic. Reminders are not sent if the initial review request email is not opened. This rule is: • counter-intuitive, • poorly documented during setup, • and discovered only after investing a lot of time configuring reminders. In real-world scenarios — especially with POS customers — many people: • see the subject line but don’t have time to open, • miss the email entirely, • or intend to come back later. These are precisely the cases where reminders are most useful. Instead, the system prioritizes reminding people who already opened the email and chose not to act — which statistically makes far less sense. The result: a carefully configured reminder system that simply doesn’t trigger in many real-life situations, leading to an artificially low review rate. Needing to rely on an external tool like Klaviyo only to compensate for this design choice is not a reasonable solution. At that point, it may be more efficient to invest in another review app altogether. Growing concerns, not an isolated case After investigating further, we realized that we are not alone in experiencing unusually low review rates despite having many orders and correct setups. This reinforces our concern that this is not just a configuration issue, but a product design problem. Additional issues • The “All Reviews” page significantly hurts performance, especially on mobile, with poor LCP, TBT and CLS scores — which is a real SEO and Core Web Vitals issue. • There is still no way to create dynamic collections based on: • most-reviewed products, • best-rated products, • or recently reviewed products. • Custom questions are displayed raw and often dominate the visual space, while written reviews — which require real effort from customers — become secondary. Summarized insights (e.g. “99% of customers were satisfied”) would be far more useful and less intrusive. Final thoughts Judge.me remains a well-intentioned app with strong support, but good intentions and nice UI are not enough if the review collection mechanism itself is flawed or overly restrictive. For a review app, collecting reviews is not a secondary feature — it is the product. Right now, too many key decisions work against that goal, and that’s why we can no longer confidently recommend it as a reliable long-term solution.

Wish the app had a better UI and customization in the emails. The support is extremely helpful. Recommend it. EDIT: Make the app more customizable. Terrible customization.

The app would be fine except the website is slowing down too much. Other than that it was fine for reviews.
Hi, Founder and CEO of Judge.me here. Our apps load via metafields (same host/speed as rest of your Shopify page) and all our files are loading from a dedicated CDN network (KeyCDN). Our support will reach out to you to go over your concerns.

That is a good app for upload review, I even use it with aliexpress review importer before, but it slow down my app speed so I deleted it.

Hello, can we hide the judge me reviews on products page when there is No review? It scare customers.
Hi, Yes you can hide our widgets when there are no reviews. Our support has reached out to set this up for you.

Many times the comments cannot be synchronized from AliExpress, which is very troublesome and can only be synchronized one by one. My products are too many

Excellent app, poor customer service. Need to beg and argue to get a simple task completed. Frustrating experiences. - Seriously we do not prefer any communication further on this matter. Getting one single line of liquid code already need us to send a couple of e-mails, having your CS staff saying No No No No No. Wish this review section have image upload option so I can show all people the e-mail correspondences we had yesterday.
Hi, Founder and CEO of Judge.me here. Would you like to go on a call with me to discuss your PageFly <> Judge.me issues so we can fully understand your frustration and improve our integration? Hope to talk to you soon.

1.Why are the commenters for each comment the same name, and the name will change, eventually becoming the last customer name for the comment; 2.The comments on the website are very slow, and the comments have not been displayed for three days.
Hi Casi Dress, Founder and CEO of Judge.me here. I tried calling you to answer your questions, but your phone number didn't work so please allow me to answer via a review reply here. 1) This is happening because you are creating reviews with the same email address. If you create reviews with different email address for each review, then the name will be different for each review. Note: Different email address can be as simple as [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc, which all go to [email protected] but are technically different email addresses. 2) Our reviews are stored in Shopify metafields so they will load as fast as any other part of the Shopify website. If reviews don't show while you expect them to, this may be because you have autopublish for new reviews disabled, meaning you need to approve each review from the admin manually (or of course turn autopublish on). Please reach out to our customer support, we have 24/7 teams available to help you. We can go on a call with screen share to help you with any questions or confusion you have about our app. Hope to hear from you soon!
