Our recent update to review verification was not about cutting costs, it was about keeping the “Verified” badge meaningful and compliant with consumer protection standards. Reviews left through our request emails are automatically verified. For reviews submitted directly on your site, if the reviewer’s email matches an order, a quick confirmation email is sent; once confirmed, the review is marked as verified. This ensures the badge stays accurate while still allowing genuine customers to share feedback later. We also want to reassure you that Judge.me does not display an “unverified” badge. Instead, we introduced transparency badges that simply show how each review was collected (email request, onsite, import, etc.), giving shoppers more context. Finally, our pricing remains unchanged, our Free plan and Awesome plan at $15/month are still available, and we do not have plans to increase them. While we’re gradually phasing out non-Shopify platforms like WooCommerce and BigCommerce to focus on Shopify, this is to improve support and features where most of our merchants are, not a reduction in support overall.
