Update! Changing this rating from 1 star to 4 because their customer service was TOP NOTCH! Thankfully the reviews about their customer service being "non-existent" were not the case for me. I was VERY impressed with how quickly and attentive they were to my issue. I was locked out of this app with no notice. On the login page Klaviyo says they will send a code to my email, but no code every arrives. I have used Klaviyo for almost a year with no issues, but this started on 1/16/23. I just read all the one star reviews, and this seems to be a very common issue. Hoping that customer service isn't as bad as everyone says it is.
Even the free plan offers a lot of opportunities for stores which are just starting. There is room for improvement in terms of speed and usability, but all in all a great programm for email marketing and basic crm. Flo - kluuf.com
I love how easy it is to write powerful emails through Klaviyo that include the products from my store with the click of a button. The integration feels seamless and intuitive.
Great integration with Shopify. User-friendly email/flows builder. Fair pricing. There is always room for improvement on the analytical side: like better integration with Facebook, and Google Ads, so we can see how the customers were acquired, but even without it, Klaviyo is good enough.
Klaviyo is a great tool for people who really really really want to spend a lot of time getting into the data weeds with their store. I used Klaviyo for nearly two years and, honestly, I never got my money's worth simply because I just didn't have the time to make it worth my while. It is, after all, pretty dang pricey if you have luck growing your list. I know, I know, if you watch reviews, there isn't a single reviewer who doesn't agree that it's the "best" email marketing app on the market ... The reality is that this tool is probably more than most small businesses need. Customer service was always helpful. Me, I'm looking for something less robust and cheaper because I never had any luck growing my email list.
The most useful App for our Shopify store! Fast customer service. Reliable products. Frequent free customer education webinars (very helpful). Seamless integration with Shopify. Klaviyo is the most valuable App our Shopify store has subscribed. We also invested a bit on Google and Meta marketing campaigns, but we have found Google and Meta difficult to navigate and campaigns complicated to manage. The worst is when we need help with Meta or Google, it is impossible to find a real person to talk to. On the contrary, working with Klaviyo's email compaign is direct and effective. Klaviyo so far is the biggest bang for the buck for our marketing needs. Highly recommend!
Klaviyo has become a very important part of our marketing strategy through its ability to segment our customers in great detail. Customer's product choices and behaviors are all easily broken down in Klaviyo and used to better understand them. Less wasted email campaigns- getting the message to the right people. Klaviyo's extensive support library is a major plus whenever you may have questions.

UPDATE... My review below still stands. Kalviyo seems to have gotten eveen worse, they bill you such a high amount for the users you have, and then a very high threshold of emails to send to hit that amount, basically forcing you to constantly spam your users just to hit the threshold. Feels like so much money is being burnt here. Really crazy how much they have increased the price over the years, with no changes at all to the service. Their SMS is also awful, so incredibly over priced, and very misleading on the charges. I hope they make adjustments to this platform to make it better for their users, Seems like all they care about is jacking up the price before their IPO on wallstreet. Its a shame. It's a great app for the most part, but it's very unsettling how much they have increased the price and made no changes to justify that. Its VERY difficult to gauge how much your monthly bill will be, as they always tack on new charges. i have noticed the wait times drastically increase for customer support over the years as well. It usually takes them a very long time to help and all they do is send you long confusing articles I really wish they didn't basically double the price.

I wasn't worried about all the reviews about their customer service and they were right. They say all the right things to get you to sign up but when things go wrong they just want you to contact support who offer little help aside from sending you to DIY fix articles.
Klaviyo has been fantastic growth and revenue tool for our store. Great all around product. The summer release of the email editing interface changes are the only knock to 4 stars verses 5 stars. Some aspects of the new editor interface are a step forward while several seemed rushed and not as successful and easy to use as previously.
The app is good, but it is very expensive, and they are always trying to scam more money out of you in sneaky little ways. It is designed to grow your bill over time. For example, unsubscribed and bounced emails are suppressed, but they often still sit in your total profile count unless you actively clean your database. It is very hard to mass-delete users.
Not only does Klaviyo have a very high level of functionality and analytics capability, I have always found the live support team to be extremely patient and helpful when I need to troubleshoot an issue. They really know their stuff and help walk you through any difficulties. Always a great experience.
This is about day 90 of a switch from Mailchimp. While Klaviyo appears to have more long term potential and a more transparent (but more expensive) pricing structure, it also appears that some functionality is still in beta. For example, I continue to struggle with abandoned and add to cart flows triggering properly. We are a SMB and my sense is that this product may be best suited from larger firms with dedicated marketing teams. I will remain with them for now simply that the cost of switching back to the Chimp is high. Then again, it might just be me.

I would recommend finding an alternative service. The billing is horrendous and service is sub-par to say the least. Save your money and find an alternative for emails or SMS.

We absolutely love using Klaviyo. It has been a game-changer. The support is really helpful, and we also enjoy attending the master classes.
We made the switch to Klaviyo last year and haven't looked back since. It's got absolutely everything we need and it's much easier to use than our previous email service. On top of the standard email marketing tools, the analytics, customer service and trainings are all super helpful. Very glad we made the switch.
Great app and great customer service, best app for flows automation and audience targeting. Maybe its expensive.
I love how easy Klaviyo is to use. I also love the instruction they provide as well as how the program continues to grow with the industry.
