Klaviyo stated they have protections in place to keep bots from signing up creating fake emails. I am a small business and my email is full of fake emails. I try to delete them but they don’t disappear. I can’t keep ahold of any one in support until I upgrade and pay a monthly fee or lower the amount of emails in my account which is not working. I guess you can’t get help unless you pay them. It is a difficult platform to use also. The best option is to delete my entire account and go to a different email provider. I don’t want to work with a company that can’t help unless you pay them!!

I used Klaviyo for years between 2018-2020 and I was happy with it despite the high costs. More recently they introduced caps on how much you can email before going to the next tier, and their caps are extremely restrictive compared to other ESPs. In order to send 5 emails a week to my entire list costs me double what I'd pay in my tier normally. So for 2000 contacts I'm paying $100/month to send what I want to send. I'm not against a (good) company making money, but their cost is roughly $1 for 10000 sends and they charge you 20x markup just on the sends. This is absolutely ridiculous and their prices don't justify this when you have better and cheaper options available. I'd stay far away from them. Edit: Lol at their generic ChatGPT response - they are clowns.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Do Not Use these guys. Go to MailChimp or whoever else. But def not here! I'd give half a star or zero if I could.

Expensive hidden costs. Unsubscribed and uninstalled a long time ago but they keep sending spammy emails saying 'account limit reached'

Klaviyo kan åbenlyst en masse ting, men hvis man har unikke domæner tilknyttet sine markeder i Shopify market og har brug for at sende flows og mails ud til kunder i de forskellige markeder så kan man kun gøre det fra et branded mail domain. Det virker besynderligt i 2026 at få besked om at købe 4 x Klaviyo konti, når man har samlet sine markeder i Shopify netop for kun at have 1 webshop. Alternativt foreslog Klaviyo også at jeg kunne få en udvikler til at lave et helt setup. Det så meget indviklede og meget dyrt ud. I øvrigt har jeg fra "Klaviyo" ekspert og selveste Gemini fået at vide at det godt kan lade sig gøre, men det kan det ikke når man så står med problemet og ønsker det løst.

Scammers! I was charged $390 when suppose to be $45 They mislead your in their settings that you wont be charged if you exceed your limit, but you will be so be careful! There conversions metrics are also highly exaugurated. Out of 12 conversions they claim i manage to confirm only 3. Go to other services llike PushOwl, do not use this scammers!

You don't pay for suppressed profiles, but you retain their data so you can understand the actions they took. Absolute scammers! BE CAREFUL with this guys! I setup in my Klaviyo settings not to be charged if i exceed my limit of $45 plan. I was assured by their support that i will not and then after just 30 days they were about to charge me more than $600 Thankfully i found out before the charge and canceled the service! Do not trust their settings. They purposly play with words to trick you thinking the "stop" in their settings is for the "profile and email" plan, but its only for the emails and if you exceed that limit you will be charged, in my case a LOT! Scammers, do not trust their support too! btw, they also show you misleading conversions - claiming the conversion is made from Klaviyo when it's clearly from other source and Klaviyo email was not even opened by the customer!

I followed explicit instructions from Klaviyo support to resolve a configuration issue. That guidance resulted in service interruption and an accelerated billing cycle. Despite clear communication records, this is now being treated as a “customer-initiated change.” This is extremely disappointing and uncomfortable as a paying customer. I hope Klaviyo will review support-led actions more responsibly.

Klavio would't import my subscribed email list. It's how to import contacts from shopify instructions absolutely did not work.

Horrible. Faites super attention à votre forfait. Je ne l'ai pas pas surveillé, résultat : 2 mois à 375 dollars pour un ROI de 50 euros max. HORRIBLE. Vous choisissez le plan gratuit, vous n'avez aucune notification par email pour le changement (le comble pour une app emailing).

It seems like I find a new issue with Klaviyo every day. Do NOT use them for order confirmation emails. You cannot update any info or resend confirmations to a different address. If the customer mis-enters their shipping address, email, etc. that is it. It only records info one time. It does not communicate with Shopify at all. Our customers are very confused why we can no longer resend updated confirmations, as Shopifys native email notifications can do this. We have been using that for years! It's a very simple function. I am going to have to switch our confirmations back to Shopify because people want a copy of their receipt with the correct info. We spent a lot of time and effort setting up these flows only for them not to work as intended. And it's frustrating that every time I reach out to support they respond that "it is a current platform limitation." We pay top dollar to use this service and the basic functions don't work! Why is everything a limitation? Just save yourself some money and use Shopify inbox or literally anything else. We are looking into alternatives now.

We are unsatisfied by the set up and ease of use of the Kaviyo SMS app. We have been locked out of our account and cannot access the app or are unaware of our status and customer service has not responded to requests to unlock account. Rating Poor, unresponsive, challenging to use.

I’m really unhappy with this app so far. Expecting users to pay for basic human assistance is unacceptable and leaves a very poor impression.

Atrocious customer service that has no basic knowledge. They don't even know what z-index means. Also, the smart translate feature is completely buggy. It translates some parts and leaves out others. Even mixes languages within 1 email. Ive been using Klaviyo now for 2 months and was better off with Omnisend. It was also cheaper with basically the same functions. What a waste.

Terrible app, we used to use it for sign ups, haven't used it since 2021, when after i deleted the app, thousands of fake emails got added to the list. I've been trying for hours to delete ALL customer's data, as well as all these bot email accounts with no success, can't even get support for it and refuse to pay to get it. the profile maintenance page is blank. just trying to comply with the LAW on customers data

I have paid for a plan and in the same date they have created me an invoice and i have told them that the invoice is incorrect and it needs to be changed, they said that the past invoice cant be changed, only the future ones if i modify in the settings the company name, etc. But i have requsted this in the same date when they have created my invoice, i dont understand why it cant be modify, its unbaliveble how they cant change the invoice.
