LPO Live Product Options

I was a little unsure about this app intially. It seemed pretty intimidating. And after a few days of messing with it, I couldn't figure it out. I reached out to Carl on support and within 10 minutes he created exactly what I was looking for! I'm excited to create more custom options! Thanks, Carl!

The app has all sorts of combinations that you can wish for with respect to product options. The icing on the cake is the support team. They are too good at their work especially Michael from the Dev team. You don't find yourself in a situation where you have an issue and it isn't resolved within a few hours! Love the app and the support team!

Just so many issues with a larger store. Also a disaster if you use coupons, particularly collection specific coupons (For example, 20% off all tees). Just a nightmare.

Nice app really liked it however it causes a major CLS (Content Layout Shift) in Google Pagespeed. Reported it to developer. Developer keeps talking about deferring javascript dev seems confused doesn't know what CLS is. Problem is the app hijacks the primary gallery image on load causing the primary image to flash and the content to shift on the page hence the CLS issue. Solution is to make the image not change until the user interacts with the options like all the other personalization live preview apps do. Dev suggested adding conditions which then made the primary image blank. Not a solution. Really nice script hope the devs fix it someday.

I think this is a great app but more importantly, my customers love using it. I would highly recommend this app. It is very powerful and great value. I researched Apps on the Shopify store and Live Product Options was the best fit for me. It didn’t interfere with my theme or product page and it offered image upload and live preview so the customer could see the variants on offer and how they would look. It integrated with my Shopify store perfectly and I liked that I could keep the look of my product page. Some other apps don’t offer this. It looks great on desktop but more importantly on mobile. The sticky preview is a great addition as it lets the customer view their selection while scrolling down the page on mobile. The support is second to none. Carl was patient with all my questions and answered them perfectly.

Please save yourself some time. Buggy app, bad support, sometimes does not charge engraving fees. Steer clear!
