This app only translates 1000 products, I asked the developers to increase the limits, but they just don't care about the needs of the customers.

Their currency converter for Euro doesn't show the right price for EU countries whereas others work with no issue. I contacted them regarding the issue, and they said that they will look into it if I grant them access to my website. They send invitations with unnecessary access request such as Orders, Customers, Discounts which they do NOT need access to fix the issue. When I choose not to grant these permissions, they basically tell me that they cannot fix it. It's important to be cautious because these apps may collect your data and either use it or sell it to third-party organizations to generate revenue. I strongly advise against providing access to your private data.

This app is rubbish, I chose the 19.99 per month plan. As a result, the translation language can never be accessed, no matter how to shut down and restart, or refresh. Image translation can only translate media sources, not details pages. Asking customer service is a waste of time. They don't listen to what the customer's question is and answer it randomly. I'm so annoyed at wasting an afternoon of my time. The bill is still there after uninstalling it. I am currently contacting Shopify to cancel the bill

This is literally the worst app ever. We translate into Japanese and we know that the AI translations are usually wrong so we translated the entire website manually. However, since the begining of this year (2023) the app has been acting weird like there is a bug in the system or something. We manually translate everything meaning there should be no errors, however when we click save, the translation appears at a totally random place on our website that we did NOT put it! We have reached out to customer service multiple times and they have not been able to solve our problem. Everytime all they say it "we need to talk to the developers" then after a couple days they get back to me resolving that one text or one page that was an error without fixing the ACTUAL problem so everytime we even touch the app our whole website gets messed up and past translations that were correct before disappear somewhere or a random translation ends up in the craziest places on our website. Since we do manual translation, all we asked customer service to do was to just simply TRANSLATE/MIRROR exactly what we type. After struggling with this for months and months and getting super frustrated, but thinking that all the work we did on the manual translations is gone, we decided to give up on this app because it is hopeless.

My experience is so bad i am facing an issue and i sent alot of emails to support team first they replied that this issue is not in our end you should talk to theme support team and after investigation from theme support team, i sent an email again to app team but every time i am getting the answer that our developers are still investigating and i am trying to get the solution since more then 1 month. i don't know how much time they need to resolve one query.

I have just changed my review after using this app for one week with growth plan. most of the products pages was wrongly translate or partially translate. I received only promises without any action from customer service to solve these issues, however, no action by their end. The main problem, app is not accurate, it shows that all pages were translated and actually it was not translated. I will not recommend this app to anybody except if you have a lot of time you would like to waste.

I've been writing to support for a month to fix one error, and after a month they still haven't fixed it! I pay for the Grow plan, where they offer Premium support. Disaster!

The most 3rd class app ever seen on Shopify app store. The app is created just to earn money through 1st month charges i guess. This never translates complete pages and translation is only 40-50% accurate.

A l'inverse de ce qui est dit l'application ne gere pas les avis de judgeme. En plus si vous avez des article sans variantes il affichera (et traduira) les case de variantes!!!! Donc pour les produits sans variante vous aurez quand même le selecteur de variantes qui s'affichera sur les pages traduite avec marqué "Titre" et "titre par défaut". J'ai essayé de regler cela avec le SAV mais aucune solutio acceptable ne m'as été proposé si ce n'es d'exporter tout mes produits et changer cela manuellement (a refaire à chaque fois que vous faites un nouveau porduits). Pareil pour les avis, je devais les exporter, les faire passer avec une autre application pour ensuite les réinjecter dans l'app de traduction... Et naturellement opération à refaire à chaque fois... Si vous avez uniquement des produits avec des variantes et que vous n'utilisez pas judgeme pourquoi pas (même si l'interface est pas très intuitive) mais sinon fuyez

i would give a zero if possible! The app is full of bugs and conflicts. When you switch a language it changes the region to some random country. Translations get misplaced and break the design layouts. I wish I could attach screenshots of how the store designs made with pagefly were broken when switching to another language. When you change to a different currency and switch it back all product prices revert to a different price than the original with no explanation from the support. wasted more than a week in solving the endless bugs and issues of the app and on top of that you have to translate third party apps manually. Auto translation and creating tasks don't work out and have to be done through support. Been asking for a refund as we have not made any use of the app and the support said it has to be done through the manager! Complete waste of time so good luck with working with an app like that!

This app is buggy and customer service is very slow and not very responsive. Had to remove it. Wasted a lot of time.

At first I thought this was great. The look of it was good and easy to use. However, it ran out of words after translating just one language. I've been talking to customer service for over 15 minutes. They told me it was too expensive to give words because Google charges them (really? why is Google Translate FREE then?!). Then the translating stopped and even after they gave me more words "as a courtesy", the app broke and wouldn't let me translate. I believe they are in China so not surprised. Find another app if you're a professional business. Not sure where all of their 5 star reviews came from. ... Fake.

I installed Etranslate app in Dec 2021, and if I rate Etranslate app 1 month ago, I will rate it 5 stars, because Etranslate app was very useful. Auto-translate worked well, also I can translate manual, and the auto-switch language based on geolocation made customers easier to view our site. Also, the support team helps me with many things in online conversation 24/7. Anything about Etranslate is perfect until 5 days ago when I need to update a new version following an App request. - the auto-switch language does not work. I emailed the support team 2 times ( 8 days and 6 days ago) but nobody replies to me. I request support in 24/7 conversation, she told me "the auto-switch language function is supported to automatically change the language according to the browser language" - not by geolocation. But I still see Etranslate's description that "Etranslate allows to auto-switch language and currency based on visitors' geolocation. Let customers shop seamlessly" on the Shopify app store. - I bought 30.000 words, but just 7 minutes later, my credit only is 10.000 words, and 2 minutes later, just is 800 words although I turn off all auto-translate. I ask in 24/7 conversation at that moment, she told me she will check Etranslate dev but nothing happened although 7 days have passed.

I do not recommend it at all! They installed malware on my website and it was not easy to clean. I found out because of google ads warning. I do not know if it is the responsibility of the app or who but it has given me problems.
Update: The malware issue is a false positive of Google ads for our language selector. We have updated our Translation selector. Now you need to add the code to your theme to enable this feature. So there won't any malware/adware issues anymore because the language selector will be considered as a native plugin, not third-party software.
