Loox ‑ Product Reviews App

this app is the reason i moved my online store on shopify and it works perfectly. Support is always quick and helps me with any inquiry i need.

There are plenty of great review apps out there. What I like about Loox is it's an affordable option to collect and showcase photo reviews. And it's easy to set up and use. Just hoping it's soon able to become a Google Seller Ratings Partner.

The app is simply marvellous, installation was easy-peasy, the interface is very smooth as well as functionality! It even becomes very addictive - to seat and update reviews page to see what my customers think about my products and service. Wow! Last time I felt smth similar was when I created my profile on Facebook way back then in 2009!

Does what it says on the tin. So far it's brilliant. Switched from Yotpo and haven't looked back. The layout of the reviews is so much better visually.

I like this app better than the previous app I used. I also needed help moving the widget to where I wanted it to be and customer support fixed it for me quickly.

After only a week of using this app, I'm happy to say it's gone beyond my expectations. We've accumulated so many wonderful reviews *with photos*, it's amazing. Having photos is such a wonderful way of showcasing your product, and this app puts "getting the user to add a photo to the review" front and center.

The app has been amazing in all aspects except you cannot limit the uniquely generated codes to a certain collection. This is important to all stores selling items with very different price points, as 1. manually changing the codes before the customers uses it is impossible to achieve 2. customers are dissatisfied if we try to ask them for top ups because they claim "the code worked" and that the discount should be honoured 3. we don't want to give them loopholes to exploit by using one generic code for everyone. We are fighting enough fires as it is. 4. we cannot give a fixed dollar amount as the products in that one collection has different price points. 5. We have reached out to Shopify and the support team says all apps have the ability to limit generated codes to a certain collection if they wish to. We have reached out to Loox, but it seems this is not affecting a lot of shops and is not high on their priority list and to be fair they have tried to give us other alternatives above. We are putting this out here because we really want a permanent solution to this and see if other shops are experiencing this too.

We just started using it. So far, so good. Hopefully all our customers will include a photo with their review.
