I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! MonsterApps/Cart and have been using it for the past two years. I highly recommend. I just upgraded to version 2 and know I will love it even more. Their tech support is amazing 10/10 so shout out to them. If you have been considering, wait no further and download them today!!!

I would rate this 10 stars if I could. This is by far the strongest cart upsell app on Shopify right now. Since implementing it, I have doubled my AOV, and it includes every feature you could need in a serious upsell tool. For a while I was torn between OCU and Monster Cart, but with their latest updates, Monster Cart clearly wins across the board. Customer support has also been excellent. Fast, reliable, and at one point I even had one of the founders, Ty, personally assisting me. 100/10. If you are looking for an upsell app that genuinely lifts AOV, this is the one to use.

I had a good run with this app initially, but after one issue it quickly snowballed. Last week I raised concerns about billing inconsistencies that did not match their own pricing table. The initial customer support was extremely disappointing - I received one-line replies to a detailed report and was simply sent a link to the same pricing table I was questioning. For a high-volume store paying around $90 per month, I expected more serious engagement. After pushing back I was escalated to the founder, Ty, who was excellent. He handled the situation professionally and refunded the months in question. To prevent future billing issues he suggested migrating me to their new V2 beta. Unfortunately that decision has been a DISASTER. The V2 beta is highly unstable and introduced multiple serious problems. Upsell data was migrated incorrectly, with deals that required $110 spend reset to a $40 default threshold, something very easy to miss unless you manually check every upsell. This meant customers could unlock significant discounts far below intended spend levels. The cart itself became buggy and unstable, crashing, failing to load images and freezing pages. I was unable to roll back to V1 once migrated, and even disabling upsells and turning the cart off did not fully remove it. A broken version of the cart continued overriding the default Shopify cart. My only option was to uninstall the app entirely to remove the malfunctioning cart from my store. This is particularly frustrating because the app had previously performed well and helped increase AOV, but migrating a live high-volume store to a beta version on a Friday, leaving no weekend support, resulted in significant revenue loss. I am disappointed to leave a one-star review as I respect Ty as a founder and have enjoyed using this app, but based on this experience I cannot recommend it.
Team - Sorry to hear this has been your experience. Just want to clarify some things... V2 is not in beta.. but the migration experience was (although 500+ brands have gone through the process already). This is why we sent some instructions for checking over things before going live. Unfortunately when migrated there was CSS conflict with theme. We have never had this result before. Sorry about this and we will learn from it. We upgraded you based on the strict times you were informing us to on the friday. Unfortuantely.. as far as i can see the upgrade ended up being done on weekend times when support is away for an hour or so on some days. I hear the frustration here. We will learn from this experience. As for the billing... as per messages we were likely undercharging you for most months using the app.. i believe you would have got a good outcome as per the actions taken to help here. :) Unfortunately yes.. the migration did not work the perfect way it needed with store clash.. and we will endeavor to work hard at making this work 100%.

Unfortunately I have had a terrible experience with this APP. I contacted multiple times during the few months I had this about the dashboard never working the entire time, so I could never check any data. I also have just seen I've been charged multiple times for the same period even though its meant to be a monthly fee on the plan I was on and then also after I finally cancelled I have still been charged again yesterday for another month. I can't contact support now that I have uninstalled and shopify said I need to take the charges up with the app.

The Team at Monster Cart, especially my new best buddy Charlene, was there to help me create a cart that was tailored for my e-commerce site to increase my Average Order Value. Decent app, but picked up that they are duplicating their charges every month. They charge a monthly fee + usage & a monthly fee again. I reached out to their support 2 weeks ago and keep getting a general response that they've passed on the message to the team leader, but still no response. Can you please refund and fix your charges ASAP? Check your charges on your monthly bill!

unfortunately support is ghosting me and is not answering to any of my tickets. App stopped working and 20% of orders are not discounted.

MonsterCart is a really great app! We've tried a fair few similar apps, but have always come back to MonsterCart as the interface is easy yet powerful to use! The customer service is above & beyond, super helpful.

Warning this does NOT work with product variants. It also does not work with subscription products (i.e., excluding subs from upsells) Their product says "fully compatible with product variants" but that does not mean it's possible to do a product upsell with a specific variant. Instead it means that it can apply in the same way to all variants of a product.
