I expect that sometimes an app may have glitches but I’ve been battling these glitches since Nov 16. I’ve had to delete the app twice now due to lost sales for these reasons. 1. Toggle button is on at cart page but item & charge is removed when you get to checkout. 2. Doesn’t charge correct % on order total. For example if you have 2%, when a customer orders $100 worth of an item it charges $2.25 not $2. 3. Doesn’t charge the correct amount if you choose static rate. A customer got charged $3 for a $15 item when it should have been $1. 4. The static rate may not work upon initial installation and you have to reach out. 5. When toggling off the insurance on cart page the text doesn’t change to the “opt out” information. 6. The Learn More link is also not displaying on the cart page.

Hi there, I'm one of the co founders of Navidium,and wanted to hop on and apologize for any glitches or difficulties you had with our app. 1-5 are all issues that usually occur when the core product in Shopify is changed or have their variants changed oj Shopify end. While we also wish we could have an exact match %, the reality is that no one is able to do that properly due in large to shopify's limitation of 100 variants per product. Our % rounds up to the next available variant,but we do have quite a lot of customizable options we can do on our backend to help get you as close as you need. As for the static, again, most likely the issue was related to variants being changed after the install. All in all, we have 1000s of merchants using Navidium, and I'm confident we can get this working for you properly. Customer service is top notch and personal. I was having some issues after installing this. The founder reached out to me personally, reviewed my store and took care of all the glitches. I am happy to do business with Navidium. It gives me back the control over my customer's claims process and increases revenue with the upsell. Route won't be robbing me anymore. Navidium is new tech, so if you are having any issues, do reach out to them, they will get them resolved for you.

Route was BANKING off us and I really wanted a way to offer my own package replacements. I'm very happy Navidium made that happen for me. They installed it for me and now I keep my profits. We've handled 2 claims ourselves, but brought it in way more than necessary to cover those - That's pure profit, folks!

We were originally a customer with Route, Navidium contacted us so we decided to give it a go. I gave them access to my Shopify storefront. They installed their app and we were good to go. A week later I realized some issues were happening due to the changes they made during installation to my coding. First of all the insurance was added to the cart during checkout but the customer was not able to opt out if they didn’t want it. Second of all, the product pricing for each product in the entire store changed to the same price as the total of the cart if that person added a product to their cart. For example, if the customer added a $10 item to their shopping cart. If they went back to browse my storefront, all the items in my entire shop will show up as $10. I don’t know what they did to my storefront when I gave them access to it. But I tried emailing Chandler my account rep and I didn’t get a response. I also emailed them through the contact us form at the bottom of this page 5 days ago and so far no response for anyone. They have no phone number on their website to call if anything goes wrong. It’s been a HORRIBLE experience. I had to go back and restore the backup of the website prior to giving them access to install the app. I’ve reinstalled Route protection since then. All around HORRIBLE experience for me.

I'm so sorry for any confusion or issues our app may have caused in the initial set up. Our team generally does the best they can to make sure all stores experience dedicated support. I've done a little digging and I'm concerned that perhaps we weren't getting the support messages. We don't have any staff member named Chandler working at our company :( Is it perhaps possible the wrong company was emailed? We'd love to sort this out for you and would be happy to do this on a duplicate theme, and make sure everything is 1000% working properly before trying to go live again. Also please note, we have live chat support in the app backend which is monitored daily for most hours, and our team tries to be super responsive too. We've been a customer since July 2022... so about 6 months of use. It has significantly reduced the question of who to send a replacement order to when it is lost, damaged, or stolen... has given a pool of funds to cover the customers that use this service... and has helped us resend to the customer without question. We do ask for returned damaged goods, images, and if stolen, that a police report be filed (which is done over the phone anymore for a number) Having Navidium has been a great choice when it comes to apps. It seems expensive, but I recommend trying it for 3 months to see if this is right for your company, it certainly was for ours.

I'm SO glad we switched to Navidium from the other shipping protection app we were using that kept all the revenue our store was generating. Since then we have seen a 44% conversion rate for Navidium and our customers are happier than ever with the improved problem resolution we are now able to offer. The customer support from Navidium has been fantastic. The look and feel of the widget feels very well implemented into our checkout and theme as well. Big shoutout to Marc from Navidium as well. Super down to earth, friendly and resourceful in all things e-commerce related. If you don't have Navidium installed on your store, you're missing out!

We love the Navidium app - we have used other shipping protection apps and this one is by far the best. We wanted a simple app that lets us protect ourselves and our customers without having to deal with the carriers, as we all know is impossible. We really wanted an app that allows us to protect ourselves, easily track claims, and still give great customer service, we didn't want an app that would rip off our customers and we did not want an app to use solely as a revenue driver, this app does just that and we can easily control how much we charge for it. The team has also been great, and the app is easy to use, no complaints and this app far outweighs the other options! :)

We've been running this shipping protection app for a more than a year now. It's been great. We tried a couple other shipping protection apps in the past. I love how with Navidium I can support our customers rather than sending them to try to have a claim handled by someone else who really doesn't care about them. We can easily take care of shipping issues for customers who take advantage of the protection. The app works great and if there's ever a glitch (as there can be in all apps) the developers are quick to fix it. The only complaint I have is with myself. I've been so used to not having a dashboard for shipping protection, I forget to use the Navidium dashboard and still use a spreadsheet. I will get there and the dashboard looks handy!

Great app! but it's screwing with our pixel by Duping conversions! Waiting to hear from the dev with a fix. Make sure you check your events to make sure this is not happening to you if you're advertising on FB. 2/21/23 Update: Ok so after a few weeks of digging under the hood of our Pixel set up with CAPI we noticed after doing some research that: You should NOT have the FB Pixel both on the Preference page under online store set up as this creates the duplication of conversion events. Test it out and i suggest adding it to the FAQ on the app so others look into that and see if it helps them if they come across that issue.

The BEST shipping protection app! We previously used route and felt like we were getting robbed. We switched to navidium and it helps us generate extra revenue but helps our customers feel more confident during the checkout process. They are always so responsive and willing to help! Highly recommend this app!

Have used this for ~2 - 3 months now with great results. We ran a test and it indeed product more average contribution dollars per user than without Navidium. The team also helped us with an extensive & tricky custom install. Highly recommend!
