Let's be honest: nobody enjoys Sales Tax. Numeral makes it super easy and gives you the confidence to redirect your focus elsewhere. Their response time is stellar and the team is top-notch. Could not recommend them more.

Do not let them set up your state sales tax information and please file this manually yourself. Once you leave, they have your login information and never email you back. It's been 3 weeks of me emailing their support with no reply.

Awesome way to handle sales tax. Super easy set up, Numeral handled the heavy lifting. Fillings were done quickly and accurately. Customer service gets back to me the same day if I need support. This is basically sales tax on auto pilot and great for founders / small businesses. Sales team was pretty chill too, which is appreciated.

We switched over from a large player in the sales tax industry over to Numeral and could not be happier. Numeral actually provides GREAT service and doesn't just promise it, they actual deliver it. I'm glad we made the switch over to Numeral.

At this point it looks like emails and tickets have gone unanswered from the Numeral team. I have tax authorities contacting me indicating I'm non-compliant. And nobody from the Numeral team gets back to me despite emails and an open ticket. There is also no phone number to speak to an actual human.

I really did my best to give them the benefit of the doubt. I am currenly TWELVE MONTHS into a support case that their team can't resolve. And mind you, the CEO is on the thread and fully aware of this. Numeral incorrectly filed my state taxes and can not figure out how to fix it. I would say it is not worth the headache. I hate giving negative reviews, but I gave them countless chances to correct their mistakes to this point. I am being told that I am getting premium support and full escalation, but the quality of this support is well below any standard.

I love Numeral! They work independently with each state and handle filings automatically without delays. They stay on top of any issues and are proactive in ensuring everything is managed correctly. Most importantly, they always act in the best interest of our company and provide a reliable, seamless experience.

Sales tax is hard. People think its some simple process to automate, but in reality, there are a lot of required phone calls with states, issues that take a long time to resolve, and yeah, its just quite a mess in the US. Numeral does a pretty good job trying to tackle it, but they are not perfect. They are in our Slack so communication is fast, so thats great. Me recommendation: If you have a clean sales tax history and want to move to Numeral, you are in pretty good shape, go for it. If you have a long history of backfilling issues, I think its best to use a dedicated person. Its extremely time intensive to do back fillings and clean it up. Numeral did do it for me, but it required a ton of my time personally. No matter what you do, when switching to and new sales tax provider, you need to first make sure you personally can login to all the state portals, check if all the info like emails and addresses are correct, get all the passwords in a sheet, and hand it off to the provider in a clean way. Otherwise its going to be a horrible experience for everyone. Get organized! Sales tax is hard.

As many others have mentioned in their reviews, customer support can take weeks to respond. They won't own to their mistakes and you'll end up having to fix them yourself most likely. The service may seem fine when everything is working, but if you run into an issue, getting help is extremely difficult. That’s when the experience becomes frustrating and disappointing.

Great for managing sales tax and tax filings for our brand!

After reviewing a few solutions including Numeral, I had chosen Numeral about eight month ago. I am happy with my decision so far. Their solution is very streamlined, and I also like their proactively responsive customer support team.

Consumer beware. They come across great, helpful and responsive. Then once they get you onboarded, the communication stops, you see them in and out of your accounts at all hours of the day and night and nothing is getting done. They switched existing annual filings to MONTHLY saying that they "had" to do things that way but never told me up front so then they collect $75 PER FILING PER MONTH in like five states in which I do business. ZERO dollar filings I know they won't publish this but do your homework and ask the questions up front. The amount of manual work I have had to do to get them disconnected from my accounts has been awful

Takes the headache (and literally all the thinking) out of sales tax, so I can focus on things that are frankly way more fun to think about :-) Love Numeral!

Waited forever and they never finished the nexus setup. No communication or customer service.

One of the worst apps and without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You are sold on an easy filing and essentially hands off experience. Reality is the product doesn't even work and the numbers it generates are incorrect. We were told the discrepancies are due to "rounding differences" which is a crazy response for tax that needs to be reported. It missed our filings, said it would cover any penalties, and has since ghosted us in responding. Unbelievable, this company should be sued for fraud and held liable for their negligence.
