Poor quality embroidery on overpriced items matched with the shipping speed of the early 2000's is bad enough but when there is a problem Printful doubles doen and provides exceptionally awful customer service. Not selling any products would be more profitable than working with this company. Shopify should be ashamed they allow this company kn the platform.

We always suggest submitting problem reports in such cases as that helps us understand what can be improved in our fulfillment process. Our prices also reflect our 24/7 support, free clipart, designs, mockups and option to edit the designs with our generator. There are also additional one-time fees for embroidery designs as we need to ensure that your designs fit our embroidery guidelines to achieve the best possible outcome. Shipping speed depends on various factors, including the fulfillment facility since we fulfill orders worldwide, however, we are working with our carriers to improve the speed. Most of the reviews here are good, but my experience was bad. They had a cotton tee in their catalog and I ordered 27 of them. I double checked the print flies and everything and trusted them with the order because their service charges were higher than other companies. When the order arrived, I was shocked by the cheap quality shirts they sent us. The shirt wasn't even cotton but a thin polyester-cotton shirt that looked faded. The print was bearly readable and had blemishes, when I contacted them for a return and a refund, they kept on saying my print file was to blame for it (Ignoring the rest of the problems). I sent them 4 emails with pictures of the tees attached and they kept on sending the same response over and over again. They took 3 days to reply to one of the emails only to end up with the same response. I had an awful experience and now I have to live with a huge loss.

Anyone giving this service more than a star doesn't sell more than 2 shirts a month. We spend about $4,000/month with Printful and they couldn't care less about us. Imagine if YOU had a customer paying you $4,000/month and you had a rough 100% markup like they do. About 15% of the orders have one issue or another. Packages lost, that Printful has refused to replace, because they can't be bothered to submit a ticket with USPS. Designs printed on the wrong side of the garment. Holes in garments. Sending products to your customers from other shops, instead of yours and some of the things they've sent have been humiliating and we've had to explain to the customer how it wasn't one of our products. I could write an entire novel with all of the issues we've had. I make a point to let them know about every single issue that they cause in hopes of their service eventually improving and they've BANNED us from their live chat, because there are so many mistakes made and they clearly don't want to hear about them.

I just had my first order go through Printful and fulfillment was declined. I have no idea why and there is no real customer support. Because the order was placed thru Facebook, I can't cancel that portion of the order and Facebook will not complete payment. it is a real cluster and there is no "help guide" that deals with my specific issue. I sent two emails, and requested support thru Shopify, but there is no way of even knowing if your email was received because they don't even acknowledge receipt! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

IF I CAN GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD... WOW... 1st, i design for 30-40 different stores and run all products through printful.. or atleast i did up until now lmfao. LET ME SAY.. I added bootleg designs up to the site, bootleg as in inspired designs of celebrities fans can buy that are not license but 110% legal to sell, attorney approved designs. Bootlegs run the streetwear world, over 5 million bootleg items come out of stores every year and they dont require licensing at all. I should know this since my minor was in design law. BUT whatever, Print-ful knows best i guess ? After speaking with PRINTIFY, printful is a complete idiot, printify allowed me to do my business smoothly.. Lets get into what ACTUALLY HAPPENED. printful allowed me to upload 20 designs for the superbowl.. approved all of them.. allowed me to send them to my site and integrate.. allowed me to sell them to the site and even approved some for fulfillment... then 1-2wks later bombarded with emails saying i cant use items and cant fulfill my items.. mind you im now like 3 weeks into my first order and since then have gotten over 50+ items sold in the time period.. they took all the money.. they went back and forth like a brick wall didnt matter if i gave them facts and gave them articles they wanted it their way or the highway which their way is literally mental.. well like i said, printify is handeling this.. and oh yeah !! still lost over half of the money printful took out of our bank and it hasnt been deposited but they "claim" itll show up some day.. its been over a week lmao. they said their system is faulty and doesnt always catch things .. well as a million dollar business id recommend you hire knowledgeable reps and also hire people to make a less faulty system.. and yeah.. go to school and educate your staff on apparel design history because you look like idiots, i have massive clientele list of 50m+ net subs and they all agreed were posting about printful on platforms because this has been a complete headache and im out more money that i can deal with because of their stupid mistakes and stupid staff that cant understand they are not correct. ON TOP OF THIS, the platform is NOT user friendly at all.. manually cancelling orders IN their site and IN shopify as well and ugh its a headache.. shopify reps are not pleased with this at all as well as ive been speaking directly with a team of higher ups. Since moving off printfuls platform and onto printify we have gotten over 500 sales from marketing.. so luckily they are the only first 50-60..

Printful has been a terrible option for baby onesies and toddler tees. The designs often get printed crooked or off centered. In corresponding with Printful customer service, they indicated that Printful would not send a replacement product if the design was not off-centered by more than an inch. When it comes to garments for little ones, one inch is a big deal! And our customers would view that as a defect. Very disappointed with Printful.

All of our orders are taking way longer than the estimated processing time, which caused us to have several marks against our Etsy account. Orders are sitting 7-8 days when they estimate 2-5 days to process. Additionally we have lost orders stuck almost 2 weeks in pre-transit and we're just told to wait longer before offering a solution.

Currently, our estimated fulfillment times for apparel and non-apparel items are 2-5 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and holidays) + shipping time, depending on the destination of your order. Please note that all the displayed dates are only estimates and not guaranteed shipping or delivery dates. While our teams do their best to fulfill all orders as quickly as possible, some might take a bit longer as well. The current situation in the world still has greatly affected the shipping times, and while we see some improvements, some shipments can take a bit longer to be delivered as well. We're doing our best to get your orders out on time, but once they're handed over to the carriers, it's up to their sorting center capacity because carrier and postal operations are separate entities from our own. This was the WORST app I have ever used on my Shopify store! I have wasted so many hours designing items only to have the site CONSISTENTLY disconnect from my store for NO reason, delete my designs for NO reason and constantly having glitches!!! I have deleted and reconnected my account several times already and after several months of not using the app I decided to give it another try and it got WORST!!! I don't have any of these issues with my other apps! I am so disappointed because Printful have good quality items but when I say I have wasted HOURS and HOURS using this app, I mean that in the most honest way! I will NEVER use this app again, and I definitely won't recommend it!!!

Terrible mistake to have this app - they charge you VAT and shipping prices. Imagine, you buy from them an iPhone cover for 9.50. Then you charge your customer like 12.99, hoping to have this profit. BAM - no profit at all, since they subtract your margin with their VAT and shipping prices and as someone mentioned - you just need to have like 100% profit for all you sell, otherwise you'll be in my shoes - every order IS A DAMAGE TO YOUR FINANCIAL ACCOUNT - YOU GO INTO MINUS, NOT PROFIT. Stay away from this app, you can't compete cheap Chinese crap with your print on demand solution and sky high charges. Absurd. Updating my review. Even though the prices and taxation system is from the 90's, now they started shipping goods from USA. Imagine, you want a tee for 10 euro. They charge you shipping (approx 14 euros), VAT and in the end you need to sell a tee of 10 euros for 40 euros - to have at least some small profit. Your customer, who buys this thing - will find some local POD, not you with ridiculous prices. Guys, seriously? I'm out of this game. Total bullshit to be your customer if outside the US.

We are required by law to tax orders to certain destinations, however, you can also set up taxes in your store, Shopify has tutorials for that (https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/taxes/registration/setup). Please note that we advise you to set up shipping with Printful and Shopify, if done correctly, you won't lose profit on shipping. You can offer free shipping to your customers as well, but please keep in mind to add the fee to the retail price to ensure that the shipping fee is covered on Printful's end (all this information is available on our website). Great & easy platform to create items, but pricing for that doesn't leave any gap for profits. You can't charge more, because it doesn't look good enough for that price. They always write under comments that there are no hidden fees and etc. OK but how about your profit calculation :) I buy items from Printful for 15$ and sell for 20$ so they calculate it like a 5$ profit :D A huge and complex company plays cheap tricks on calculating profit as kids in first grade. To get 5$ profit You have to sell it for 35-40 $ and after paying VAT, taxes, transaction fees and etc. You will get that 5$ profit :) If I order 10 water bottles I will pay 169.5 Eur (16.95 per bottle) and extra 44.77 Eur for shipping :) All bottles will fit in 1 small/medium box :) 6.49 first item and 4.25 Eur for every aditional item in the same box :) This is Absurdistan with this kind of calculation :)

There are much cheaper ways out there to print shirts. The prices are a joke, a shirt with Amazon cost me 11€ and Printful is charging 23€. Same with other print on demand websites there are much cheaper ways to print the prices are a joke. And I’ve never ever seen somebody who needed such prove of a VAT ID, I sent them my VAT number and a proof of the European Commission. My name is in the shop. The name matches the VAT information at the European Commission. The invoice is on my name so what’s the matter with it? Do you want to just annoy people?

Printul remains a company plagued with inept leadership, as it epically falls short in terms of eco-satisfaction. To date, after at least two years of assuring its client base that it will go greener, it continues presenting products that destroy our ecology, such as the newly released 100% paraffin candle -- regarded TOXIC by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH,) with a limited exposure warnings for humans. THIS behavior of Printful is simply unacceptable at this point. Sadly, they DO NOT HAVE A CLUE, and seem to care even less, just as long as they can make a profit. What else, their website fails to meet expectation every step of the way, with each update presenting more and more problems. I'm looking for a replacement for this company every day, eagerly awaiting one that takes eco-responsibility more seriously, and knows what's at stake for e-businesses owners trying to meet a growing demand of eco-solutions. As well as one that knows how to stay ahead of the curve. I am immensely dissatisfied with this company.

Seems to be predatory in terms of pricing. Very unclear what profit is being made after fees, currency exchanges, etc. Lots of products and colours unavailable in UK. Expensive postage for sample orders which are limited to 3 items.

You can always subscribe to our Printful Pro and Plus plans for additional features, but it wouldn't be mandatory and the basic plan is free. The price you see in our product catalog would include the product itself + one print (front print for T-shirts, for example). Additional prints, possible digitization fees, shipping and taxes (if applicable), wouldn't be included in this price. As taxes (if applicable) and shipping fee depend on various factors like the size of the order, final destination and other factors it wouldn't be possible to include it in the price before purchasing. WARNING: Do not use if you offer free shipping in the United States. WARNING: Do not use if you want to work with a company that offers a basic level of customer service or technical support. There are a lot of print-on-demand services out there now and unfortunately Printful is just no longer a good choice.

Please note that it is possible to set up free shipping for specific countries through your Shopify account. You would need to create a shipping profile that has free shipping and select a country, then manually assign products to this profile. Any changes made to Printful shipping profiles will reset. Since these changes need to be made in Shopify, not Printful, we recommend contacting Shopify support as they are better equipped to assist with this task - there are also various Shopify tutorials on this matter. After 3 weeks cannot sync my Shopify store with the Printful app I decided to erase the app once and for all. A lot of conversations with the support and some steps to fix my issue but nothing.3 weeks just waiting for their devs to fix this issue. .3 weeks not running ads and over 50 products in a draft mode.

The actual product page didn't load the review page for me so I'm writing it here. Thank goodness I ordered a sample of the beanie I wanted to sell on my store (the Otto beanie). Not only did it come late, it came stuffed into a dirty parcel bag with no care or proper packaging, and the embroidery was GHASTLY. I wish I could attach photos here. Uneven, massive ripples in the beanie. I would be ashamed selling that to a customer. Their service also costs a fortune for businesses in Australia. Will never be using them again. Have contacted them for a refund, but upon reading some reviews here, will probably struggle to get my money back.
