Privy ‑ Email, SMS & Pop Ups

So far it's been good! I used this app to get more people on my mailing list and it was really useful. Jenny really helped us set up for BFCM, she set up a few calls to help with all of our email marketing and made sure our pop ups were in place and ready for the big 4 days where we have the biggest discounts. I really appreciated her help and also being on hand whenever I need to ask a question or help with setting anything up. Jenny really knows her stuff when it comes to making scheduled marketing seamless. I hope to work with her more in 2023.

Decent pop-up app but the email client isn't great... We tried using it and it failed enough times that we leaned back into MailChimp. We have run that integration with MailChimp and lets see if that works...

I absolutely love Privy! It has paid for itself many times over! I started using it this year when I also opened my Shopify store, and I can say with certainty that I have grossed more in sales, grow my email list, and have been able to create a self-care community with weekly Newsletters.

I would rather give them 0 stars if I could. Their support team is not helping at all! It won't allow me to cancel the plan unless contact them,and I did, they do not even reply my email for 2 days!!!! Please do not use them. Worst experience ever!!!!

Very Easy to use compared to others , It did put a boost in my sales I highly recommend this app for Email Marketing.

doesn't let you edit anything until you're forcibly upgraded. i can't cancel unless i upgrade or contact support which causes more of a delay.

I highly recommend the Privy app. It's flexible, easy-to-use, and does exactly what it's designed for. (I'm not being paid to say this!) I encourage any size business to give it a try. Pricing is super reasonable, and their support has been excellent. Yesterday I got the one hour onboarding with Daniel, and I have to say I was blown away by how much we were able to cover. The session was video recorded, so we are all set to continue building it out using that as our guide. Before the onboarding, Daniel had already gone into our account to see what we had set up. He helped us improve our settings and added more popups and flyouts on the spot. It was hands down the best onboarding session I have experienced in my many years as a digital marketer.

I've been super impressed by the follow up support from the Privy staff. There is no way I would've been able to implement the structures that have been put in place and explained through the training provided. Highly recommend!

If you download this app the customer service will absolutely spam you with dozens of the meaningless emails and phone calls. If that's not bad enough, they send their emails from multiple domains so you cannot just block or unsubscribe. I have asked them politely each time to stop contacting me and they ignore each request and attempt to contact me from another address and call me. I downloaded this app for not even 15 minutes before figuring out it's not what I need, deleting it, and they are still spamming me. DO NOT give your information to this app.

The email options Privy offers are great! The text marketing product is a definite no! We tried it for over a month. Our customer texts were sent after flash sales and offers were over, the text interface set up leaves a great deal to be desired....they offer no graphics or text options that pop for clients to take notice, like other marketing text services. Privy did refund our fee and was very nice to listen to the issues we experienced.
