Froze checkout on my store for a whole day until I noticed, maybe lost $1,000 in sales. Deactivated the app and a few days later I noticed my check out not working again, finally deleted and check out now working again. Tech support is useless. Install at your own risk.

NOT RECOMMENDING! Hard to setup, frustrating product searching capabilities (if you have big store you have to go through all the products). Non-intuitive, frustrating - and I couldn't get to trigger the cross-sell on mobile when it should be on by default.

None of Bolds apps will correctly install on my (brand new) Shopify store. They all sit in an infinite loop, or give me a "whoops, something went wrong" error.

Wouldn't recommend this at all. In theory it sounds good, but for example, i wanted to up sell so if a customer buys more than 1 item they receive a discount. It doesn't work for that. I also set up cross selling on most products on my website. I wasn't able to test it out because every browser i've already used in the past, it wouldn't show. So i finally installed firefox, just so i could test it out, and was disappointed to find that none were working correctly, they were just picking random products, not the ones i had selected. Furthermore, if any of your customers have visited your website prior to you installing this app, then it won't appear for them when they select a product- unless they use a browser they haven't used before. I'm also struggling to get support from the app regarding this.

Horrible. They say you can do one click upsells but you actually need another of their app. + it's not clear how you need to create upsells with just a discount for purchasing additional quantities. Really having a hard time with the app.

App worked good for a while. Then I get this automatic email that my product has been deleted. This has happend a total of 5 times in the past 8 months or so. Last time it happened 2 days ago and the most recent was just today. It's getting out of hand and customer service doesn't do a thing about it. Each time I contact customer service and they first say they have no idea why its happening and then they cap it off with "we'll look into it". It's frustrating when you don't do anything to the product and the app deletes the upsell itself and you lose all the revenue. Not to mention the app notifies you about 24 hours after it deleted the upsell product. I've been a long time user but enough is enough. There's plenty of other cheaper upsell apps out there. I would consider everyone try their options elsewhere before trying this.

Closed my store for days! This Product Upsell app caused my store to be down for five days until Shopify stepped in to fix it. Injected scripts were being pushed into my store by the app which prevented our shipping methods to load – hence prevented customers to make a purchase. Bold couldn’t care less when they got involved, I got the most uninterested answer and they did not seem to find a reason to look further into it for other customers to avoid the same error. Five days without sales - that’s pretty expensive.

This app tells you to download their Cashier app, which when deleted, removed my checkout page, now I have to wait for support to fix it.. This is ridiculous, already losing sales. EDIT: For all of you who lose your cart to this app, you can simply go to "edit code" and delete everything related to BOLD or Cashier or Product Upsell, these will be in your assets and snippets, hope this helps, unlike this app.

Extremely poor support. The app mess with product page layout. Image sliders stopped working and support saying its not because of their app. This is so careless.

Absolute piece of garbage technology. Implemented with 50 cross sells and wiped out the entire cart, costing us $10,000 in lost sales in one day! Run, Run Away. email me at [email protected] for screen shots.

WOW.... Worst APP EVER!!! They try to upsell with another app to make the upsell feature work properly (the app is not in this store but on their website) and that broke my cart (Their other app that was needed for the upsells forced my cart to go to thier website for processing, so all your Discount coupons will no longer work now) So I uninstalled and my cat is broken :( ... Bummer! Now I have to work out how to fix as I uninstall all their apps. Total scam. My 1st review here. Watch out. Don't tell me I didn't warn you. I do not like spreading bad news, and spread good, but this has to be known.

If you have no background in backend work building website apps I do not recommend their apps. They had to do some liquid install. After it completed I just happened to stumble upon realizing my store was no longer functioning! THEY DO NOT HAVE 24 HOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT. MY STORE CURRENTLY CANNOT PROCESS A SALE AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR A RETURN CALL EVEN AFTER CHOOSING THE EMERGENCY OPTION WHEN CALLING. MY COMPANY WILL BE DELETING ALL APPS ASSOCIATED WITH BOLD. WE CANNOT CALCULATE HOW MANY LOST SALES BUT WE'RE SURE IT IS QUITE A FEW.

This app is a total fraud. When i installed they gave me customer service in my countries standard timings. the moment i was on boarded they were gone. i had problems and reached out to them multiple times but they were too inefficient and did not care to solve customer grievances. Their app features dont work and they will charge you for no reason. they will reply to you and ask for money after the trial is over to give you support. Worst app. fake app. dont install.

App does not work as advertised. Waste of hours of setup and reading about how to put this into our store. The product lists do not refresh. Product search to setup BOGO's after they are 'hidden' will never show in the list - we have 60,000 products and paging through 100 at a time to find your newly created hidden product is no practical. User interface is horrible. Requires multiple apps to install for a simple BOGO offer to generate.

I never leave poor reviews, but this app is bad, like really bad - like I wish I could rate it -5 Stars bad. I'm shocked there are so many positive reviews, because I've had nothing but 100% problems and bugs. I have a long email thread between me and customer service, I've given them access to our store's back office, have had several of their 'gurus' take a look and even they can't figure it out. I'm not sure if there gurus are actual developers or random panhandlers picked from the streets. There's nothing special about our theme, and I disabled all third-party apps too. The app never works correctly and the UI/UX is so outdated you'll feel like you're surfing the web when the internet first came out #throwback Overall, this app is about as bad as it gets.
