Very difficult to set up. Support responds quickly but continually throws their terms at you that you are supposed to understand . Don't answer questions thoroughly enough for you to be able to get anywhere with support.

I was billed $400... WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Beware. I was introduced to Upsell.com by a close friend. I tried it out, couldn't make it work. I just moved on. 2 weeks later, I was billed $400 right away in ONE SINGLE BILL and they said it was because my 14-day trial ended. At this point I had made $0 from the app. I talked to customer service for 15 minutes - refused to refund me. I made a HUGE fuss. Finally a new agent comes in, and then agrees to the refund, which I appreciate. But, from a logical perspective, this is SKETCHY company. They bill you rightaway after the trial based on your TOTAL STORE ORDERS. Which means, if u have a big store - they gonna bill you big from the start even though you have not directly made any money from their app, which is BS. They then use the fine print to lock you in. LAST THING - the only way to cancel is to "uninstall the whole app" - which is again extremely sketchy. That forces people to stay subscribed just because I am not ready to entirely uninstall. I would STAY AWAY and use another upsell app. Their product may be good (untested for me) but their billing policy is SKETCHY AF. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY.

Mi experiencia ha sido muy muy mala. Descargué la app, al tiempo la actualizaron pero yo no la actualicé y la dejé de usar. Me dejaron de cobrar porque no tenía la app actualizada y no la estaba usando y 5 meses después me han cobrado más de 400 euros sin que haya actualizado la app y sin que haya dado el permiso para usar esta nueva app. Me he puesto en contacto porque es evidente que no se me debería haber cobrado eso y no me quieren hacer el reembolso. En ningún momento he usado la nueva app. En ningún momento he acpetado el cobro de la nueva app. En ningún momento he descargado la nueva app. En ningún momento actualicé la app. Y aún así me cobran más de 400 euros y no los quieren reembolsar. Muy mal servicio de atención al cliente y nulo interés en ayudar al usuario. Una lástima que todavía haya empresas que tengan que funcionar con estas prácticas.

They charged me $79 just for uninstalling the app. I didn't use it in any upsell on my website, and I still got charged $79 from nowhere. Don't uninstall this app

Alex gave me excellent support and resolved my issues straight away. I think a written step by step list with supporting video tutorials of which they have lots of would be great asset for first time boarding . All the info in one place so can work your way through would help less experienced people like myself. Once you know you know ! Really looking forward to seeing the results!

Die App hat mir im Kundenservice sehr gut geholfen. Meine Anfrage wurde schnell bearbeitet und die Antworten waren freundlich, kompetent und verständlich. Besonders positiv fand ich, dass mein Problem direkt gelöst wurde, ohne lange Wartezeiten. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Hi Safira, I’m Avraham, Director of Customer Success at Upsell.com. I understand why you’re frustrated. Being charged $39.99 after a short evaluation is not the experience you expected. For clarity: Shopify bills our app through Shopify’s own app billing system. In your case, our records show multiple installs and uninstalls, and the $39.99 was applied as a Shopify “usage charge” in the up to 500 orders tier. This pricing is based on your store’s last 30 days order volume, not on whether you actively “used” the app during that period. We have reached out privately to review this with you and to resolve it quickly and fairly. If there is any confirmed billing error, we will correct it. If not, we will still consider an appropriate goodwill remedy, but we need to handle that directly via the ticket so we can verify the billing details and ensure there are no further charges.

Saumya was very professional and patient with troubleshooting with me. I wanted to setup my upsell page 1 and she drove it to completion with me. I appreciate people like her that laves no room for lacking of anything. She closed to loop completely. She was very patient and professional.
