APP was great before the recent update, new version is a nightmare, i can't fit all the info on my labels and it is much more confusing to use

I changed my review. I use a MAC and Safari did not work with the app. Opened it up in Chrome and it worked just fine. good app

VERY INCONSISTENT. HAVING TO CONSTANTLY ADJUST SETTINGS AND LABEL SIZES, PROCESS IS WAY MORE COMPLICATED THAN BEFORE.

Shopify is on the right track but the app is still very limiting. I do like that they are trying! One thing that would be a game changer is if the barcode app would allow us to print labels from the transfer or import windows. Way too hard to go and find the labels you need to print each time inventory is received. If Shopify would use the POS portion of the inventory as a true 'source of truth' then the philosophy would be much more effective!!

I like the functionality of this app, however it would receive 5 stars if there were more options for setting up the labels. Currently only two lines are allowed for the size label I use, however there room for more lines but no functionality to support it.

This app has made printing and generating barcodes for products a lot easier for us. We previously where manually making the barcode labels for the products which would take more time than needed. Typos and mistakes where often made. As well as having to save every single label...which isn't at all helpful when you have over 1000+ products! The file is generated into a pdf file, which allows us to use are Zebra label printer to print out this labels. This app is a game changer for us and hope to see some improvements down the line. Things that I would wish to see this app implement in the future are: - to allow custom label sizes to be entered and saved. - to allow the transfer page to have a print label button available. this way as the product has been approved. hitting print labels for those items and the quantity shown would help get those labels placed on the product right away. - To allow the title as a 2nd sub to become "..." if to long instead of being removed completely. - For it to be able to display the compared price if the price is different. That way it displays a sale or price reduction instead of just showing the sale price. Example: $15.00 was $20.00 (I would recommend making this a separate option to allow the seller to choose the old version or this version) - Add a setting menu to allow us to choose for it to auto generate barcodes as products are made or to leave it turned off to how it currently is now. This would allow sellers that make their own product or just need the barcodes for internal use to get them made right away.

Would love compatibility with Numerous other Labels... pretty frustrating to only be able to chose from such a limited amount of options. There should also be an option where Barcodes are created automatically. Having to Manually Create Barcodes every time a new product is added is extremely frustrating and counteractive towards efficiency and productivity. Nevertheless it is understood that Shopify is an Online Sales platform and not POS, but the option to have Barcodes and a tagging system is defiently in the right direction. It should just be way more user friendly, offer plenty more options as far as Barcode templates, and the processing flow of getting the barcodes to print should be a whole lot more simpler than it is right now. Just an Honest review from someone who's been on SHopify for quiet a while now. Thanks.

I know there are some complaints about this app, but I like it. It creates barcodes for me as well as labels so I don't have to do it manually.

This app is a major downgrade from the previous barcode app and needs major improvements that should have been evaluated before the new app was released. HUGE disappointment!

App reuses barcodes for multiple products, which doesn't help me with the automation with over 350 products each with up to 14 variants. Also, it would be helpful if I could select what label I would like to begin printing on for the label sheets, as it is extremely rare that I have a full sheet of labels I need to print at any one time, and I abhor waste.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. In regards to the app reusing barcodes, this should not be working as intended if it's doing this. There are ways to create barcodes from the app or even on a product level that are unique barcodes but I'll work with you in depth in my email to you. For re-using label sheets, there is a work around method that I can go over with you and will be letting our developers know of the paint point you were having so it can be addressed in the near future. This app is okay. It gives the ability to generate barcodes and print labels, but it doesn't allow me to do it in succession. If I select a series of items and generate the barcodes, I have to re-select those same items again in order to print them. It would be more useful if I could generate the barcodes then print directly from the items I chose in the first place. Having to search for the item again is cumbersome and inefficient.

Please note that this new app is not appreciated as the dimmensions I previously used are not even an option. Furthermore, when there are changes to Shopify, being whatever it is small or large changes, the Retailer should be notified and have an option of accepting or not. I now cannot print the labels I printed last year and have ordered several.

This app keeps stuffing up on me, half the time it won't even print and ends up just sitting there in the printer app?? Also feels like so many more steps to actually print barcodes compared to the old app. Not user friendly

I give this a 5 star. I don't know why people are having issues. I just downloaded it and it works great! I am on a MAC using chrome. It prints much faster than the old did. Also what I like is you can easily select all in stock qty to update the number of labels you wanted printed. VERY important. Make sure you setup your template and then READ the information on the right side about what label size you need to select to make this work. You won't find 1" x 2 1/8" inch option. When you go print you labels read the info on the right column about selecting the correct paper size. It works like a charm. Very happy with the new app. Here's the info you need to know if you are using 1"x 2 1/8" barcode. Paper size Set to Dymo - 30336 Small. Make sure the paper size matches the labels in your template. If you don’t see this label type in your browser print window, select an alternate label type that’s the same size: 30336 Small 11352 Return Address Int

99% of the barcodes printed with the app can't be recognized by the barcode scanner. No wonder it's a 1 star app....

Worst app ever. Why replace the old app that was working just fine? The app doesn't recognize Thai Baht so we can't add the price on our labels anymore...

I do love how fast this prints barcodes & that you can choose to print multiple products from filters. The big thing missing is a recent add list! It's really nice if I get in multiple vendors.

I use this app everyday to create barcode labels and it takes forever for the barcode labels to create. I have to create them about 3-5 times. Also, it's difficult to print multiple items at once, it's very time consuming.

You should be able to add labels in bulk in the Shopify admin, by going to: > Apps > click "Retail Barcode Labels" > Then "print labels" > Then select the option that best suits you, all or select a few products > Then press the purple button "create Barcode labels" You can also print labels in bulk, by going to: > Products > Clicking the white square beside the product name > Then press "actions" at the top of the page. > Then print selected labels. We use this app to create barcodes to scan on merchandise. It is very finicky and hard to use. There are extra steps that make the process very tedious just to print a barcode. Lately the barcodes have not been printing correctly at all. It is wasting a lot of labels.
