One of the few applications with a Polish language version on Shopify. Great support, responds quickly and is very helpful. EDIT: When I upgraded to a higher package, I was treated unprofessionally. Simple bug fixes take months. Also, after upgrading, I lost access to several features I had on the lower package. Think twice before you choose this company. EDIT2: After a few more weeks of waiting for the introduction of a couple of translations that are simply wrong in Polish and reminding the support about it, the chat function for reporting problems simply disappeared :) We were abandoned. I will add another update in some time. Greetings

I have been chatting for over 2 hours, asking for help setting up reviews.io app and influence. The chat was getting me nowhere and sadly they refused to switch to a call or zoom unless I had paid for a professional plan.

Smooth sales up front with all the right speak and shiny objects with promise of integrating the 4 apps involved in the upsell. The reality? Ridiculous onboarding experience and promised walk through phone call scheduled at one month interval for each app. Ridiculous.

very poor customer support when asking for a simple question, wont help without an upgrade, well Im no table to install it so definitely wont upgrade nothing!

Easily the worst customer service I've ever received for any product or service. There are lots of cool-sounding features but they're all buggy and don't work on even a basic level. I wasted countless hours going back and forth with customer support, to which they routinely ignored my questions and just spat out obtuse and unhelpful responses. I switched to Klaviyo Reviews and it has been incredible from the very beginning. Save yourself a ton of headaches and go with Klaviyo.

This service was great at the beginning, but after reaching out for a solution fix on our carousel displaying reviews less than 5 stars and not getting a fix for 4 weeks - we will be migrating to another platform at this time

Expensive and they make it extra hard for you to cancel a membership, squeezing the money out of you as long as possible. There are apps with the same features which cost a fraction. If you want to cancel your subscription, you need to talk to a customer service who wont reply for hours. Then you have to confirm the cancellation via email, which doesnt arrive for hours. And if you are not planning to use the app for the remaining time, there is no partial refund for unused time. We spoke to the customer success team. No concessions at all. Very unhappy with the process and people. Again, there are apps with the same features, better support and lower prices.

We have been using Reviews.io for some time, but unfortunately, it's time for a change. While reviews are a crucial aspect of any small business, and negative feedback can be a powerful motivator for improvement, Reviews.io seems to prioritize the consumer's perspective at the expense of the retailer's fair representation. We have repeatedly encountered situations where customers have posted reviews with incorrect information or outright falsehoods. When we've requested these reviews to be removed or moderated, Reviews.io has consistently refused to act, leaving us, the retailers, unfairly exposed and unable to present our side of the story. We do respond however the damage false reviews causes our small business is sometimes irreversible. A review platform should ensure a balanced and fair approach for both consumers and businesses. Unfortunately, Reviews.io does not provide this balance, making it clear that our interests are not being protected. With numerous alternatives available at a much lower cost, we are seriously considering switching to a service that values fairness and transparency for both parties involved. Reviews can only be removed if extreme, in my opinion, criteria is met (vulgar language, spam/advertising, off-topic, and conflict of interest). There is NO option for fake reviews or false information in the review. None whatsoever. I am aware that Reviews.io might claim to be the superior choice, but when they leave retailers hanging out to dry, such claims are irrelevant. Our account renewal is coming up in a few months, and we are actively exploring better options.

Stay well clear! I downloaded this app as I wanted to show all product reviews on every product page. I contacted customer services via email with the correct csv required to upload my previous reviews. They informed me they needed more information and if I wishes to upload more reviews it would be $99. This service is actually free with many other apps. They also sent me an email 20 minutes later, before enabling me to reply, saying they were wrapping up the conversation! Why?!? Give at least 24 hours for an email response, it’s not like I was wasting time on a live chat. I then deleted the app and I was called several times about why I had done so. I explained I did not want to discuss it further and blocked the number. They then persistently continued to call me from other numbers and left voice mail messages asking about my business goals. Absolutely appalling after I stated I no longer wanted to work with them. I have now used Fera.ai with no charges, easy to install (so haven’t needed to contact customer service) and app appeared exactly where and how I wished without editing any code.

I needed to export the CSV of all reviews on this platform before uninstalling the app (it's pretty pricey when compared to competitors), only to be advised that in order to export reviews I am required to UPGRADE to the next business plan. This is unheard of. I'd do my homework and avoid. UPDATE: I was not told that exporting reviews were possible without paying UNTIL I left this review. The below is the email I received from Reviews.io when I initially asked for the reviews to be exported: Hi Sarah, Thank you for getting back to me. As per conversation with my colleagues in the Sydney office, you can export your reviews but would need to upgrade to our Growing Business Plan , which can be done within the dashboard. **The most unprofessional review app we've ever encountered!** They create a public review page for every business on their platform, allowing anyone to leave anonymous reviews—regardless of truth or accountability. Even after we stopped using the app, people can still leave false 1-star reviews anonymously, damaging our reputation with no way to defend ourselves. I personally reached out to REVIEWS.io on November 5, 2024, politely requesting that our page be deleted since we no longer use their services. Not only did we receive NO RESPONSE, but our page remains active, and every attempt to contact them has been blatantly IGNORED. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. Avoid this app at all costs! It’s a nightmare for any business trying to maintain its reputation. Save yourself the frustration and don't trust reviews.io!

I won't trust my customer review data with a company that advertised 14 days free trial but charges your credit card after one day? Not to mention that its the only shopify app that won't let you cancel now and only in 30 days. Would you?

Well, to make a long story short - on company plugin website they state that Question & Answer is avaliable in a Small Business plan. After conversation and paid for a developer to install that plugin on our website - they said "I apologize. The wording on the pricing plan page needs to be updated." If we knew that we would use differ plugin - not waste out time ! Lesson learned

Update to the saga - The Reviews app had an issue and none of the review requests were sent. I send several support requests regarding this issue and nothing was done. reviews agreed to refund my years subscription as i want to cancel but every time i ask were the rund is they seem to forget an=bout the agreement they made. I have now had to cont my credit card comapy to get the refund as the team at Reviews.IO simply can not be trusted Have yet to use the reviews.io plan as we are waiting to import reviews from our old app. The features look good from what i have seen. I signed for the Growing Business plan paying 12 months upfront, then also charged for the monthly plan! had the monthly charge refunded. To be honest they are quick to correct Keep an eye on your credit card statements.

My account was closed at the end of December 2016, notice was give on the 1st of December 2016, I now checked my account and you charged me again on 30th January 2017, this is authorised payment and why have you used my card details without my authorisation? Call me asap on 07513691215
