Migration support is non-existent. Tried migrating 500 reviews over from JudgeMe and keep our Google syndication intact, but all features were completely blocked and support wouldn't help. Off to YotPo we go..

I am very disappointed. The company is advertising three plans here in the App Store, which seems competitive with other apps. But the truth is that the highest plan in Shopify is just a bait-and-switch offer. In reality, it is one of the lowest plans the company has. If you are a company that has between 300 and 500 orders, you have to switch to a higher plan, which is not available in Shopify. The switch is also highly problematic and unprofessional. You then have to switch to credit card payment. However, the Shopify subscription is not stopped, but simply continues to be charged. I have been trying to get a refund for more than a week now. They keep putting me off and saying they can't access the Shopify plans. That's not professional...

Not impressed with customer service.

Beware when you go to cancel the service, you have to go and check your email which it doesnt let you know was even sent to then double opt out of their service. When I brought up this scammy slimy move they said they wouldnt even refund it unbeknownst they kept charging me month to month. Had to dispute them with my credit card. Terrible business practice and they were also no help with install. Very pricey.

Their customer service is extremely slow. I downloaded the app and selected the highest-tier membership, which came with a 14-day trial. However, after installing the app, I realised that there are additional membership tiers beyond the one I chose on their website- not on shopify. It means some key features require even higher payments. I could accept that part, but when I tried to upgrade my plan through their customer support, they couldn’t take timely action. As a result, by the time they responded, my 14-day trial had already been reduced to just 8 days.

CAUTION!!! If you want to change the platform you have to at least take the Grow subscription from reviews.io which currently costs $299 You have collected reviews for years and then have to pay for a higher subscription before you leave just to download the file.... Unbelievable, NEVER AGAIN

While Reviews.io has the potential to be a useful tool for managing online reviews, I've found it to be quite frustrating to use. Here are some of the key issues I've encountered: Difficult to Use: The app's interface is not very intuitive, and it takes a while to understand all the features. Shopify Integration Issues: Integrating Reviews.io with Shopify wasn't as smooth as I had hoped. I encountered several challenges during the setup process. Limited Functionality: The app is missing some standard essential features for this tool. For example: Lack of Integration: There are no native integrations with popular marketing platforms like Klaviyo or Nosto, limiting the ability to leverage review data for targeted campaigns. Limited Review Moderation: Inadequate tools for effectively moderating reviews make it challenging to address negative feedback or remove inappropriate content quickly. Poor Branding Options: The review widgets have limited customization options. Essential elements like colours and fonts are difficult to change, making maintaining a consistent brand experience across the site challenging. Overall, I would not recommend Reviews.io to other Shopify store owners. Other apps on the market offer a more user-friendly experience and a wider range of features without requiring you to step outside of Shopify's billing system. Would Recommend If: You are comfortable with a complex interface and don't mind spending time figuring things out. You don't need the app's missing features and are happy to use workarounds or third-party integrations. I hope this review is helpful!

We take customer feedback regarding the product and customer service seriously and continuously work on improving this. I have looked into your account to address some issues you were experiencing and it looks as though you were on one of Shopify's plans which does mean you would have limited features compared to REVIEWS.io direct plans. We do have a direct Klaviyo & Nosto integration which was available within the 'integrations' page of your dashboard. I can see that you did connect the Klaviyo integration and this was active. Moderation can be requested for any review within the dashboard and the request would be sent to our Moderation team to investigate further. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow clients to remove their customer's reviews themselves, this would need to be reviewed by our team first and the review would need to go against our Terms & Conditions to be moderated. In regards to the limited widget customisations, we offer two different types of installations - Manual Installation or App Embeds. The App Embeds allow you to install our most popular widgets easily using drag and drop directly within your Shopify customiser. These do, however, provide limited customisations. To customise widgets further, we usually recommend a manual installation as it gives you further design options. Basically unusable, do not even try, logging takes forever to only see that every feature is watermarked... Free version does not exist

The worst reviews app. Their flows do not work, so you will be missing months of potential reviews, and they are not accountable for their mistakes. On top of that they dont give you back the reviews collected when you switch platforms, basically they steal your private information, even the ones you imported when you started using the app. Its a FRAUD

This company appears to be run by Bots/AI - it is impossible to speak with anyone - the app DOESN'T work and you simply get fobbed off again and again

Horrible customer support. I reported the issue 11 days ago, and nothing has been solved. Their team is too lazy to do their job responsibly.

THEY OWN OUR REVIEWS! The worst thing is that if we want to export our reviews, we have to upgrade to the 90€ plan, which is insane. Customer support doesn't answer their emails, and chat is not available. It's one of the best review apps, but it's highly overpriced—I wouldn't switch to them if I hadn't already.

We loved Reviews.io and have used them for years. No longer.. I'll be removing this app from all of our websites (12). They refuse to import the 670 VERIFIED reviews I had from an old website(s). However, they were perfectly fine adding and publishing Russian spam reviews. How their "trust standards" missed that I don't know.

NOT user-friendly at all! If you are trying to switch over from the Shopify Reviews system (which we've had in place for 6 years!) this company's system does NOT coordinate with the export file provided by Shopify to import your current stores reviews. When I attempted to follow the Reviews.io instructions for import, I was told by their associate that I would have to go through 6 years worth of reviews and manually make *each and every review* and line item workable to their system. Reviews.io might be fine if you are brand new company wishing to implement a review system to your store, but they definitely need to update their program and make their system work with Shopify if they want to gain customers who already have reviews on the Shopify platform.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Make sure to review all the points below based on our recent experiences with the Reviews.io & Influence.io platform before considering a switch, in order to save both time and money. 1. We have encountered a significant lack of understanding regarding the impact of their loyalty program on our revenue. It has been challenging for us to evaluate how customers who have joined our loyalty program are affecting our income. It is crucial to note that this is a feature that their competitors already offer, and it is one that we have actively sought on the platforms. 2. Another issue we have come across is the inability to edit email templates and insert links to our website when communicating with customers through the Reviews & Influence platform. They only promote their own platform, so as a brand, you do not even have the option to add a clickable email header with your website logo. Furthermore, each template contains their branding, which cannot be hidden. 3. Additionally, we experienced a delay in the onboarding process. Despite promises of a smooth and timely setup, our accounts were not fully set up until mid-September (the process started in August), causing a significant delay in our ability to fully utilize the applications. 4. The subscription cost MUST include the option to export reviews. Review.io is the first platform where we have encountered issues with this feature. We initially purchased the Pro Plan, but before downgrading the subscription, we were not notified about this rule. To export our data, their team suggested us to purchase the Pro Plan again. 5. Lastly, we have noticed a lack of summary and feedback after our calls with the support team. It is crucial for us to have a clear understanding of the discussions and decisions made during these interactions. Despite requesting a follow-up letter after the call, nobody sends one, and we have to contact multiple times to gain a clear understanding of the points being worked on regarding our case. Сonclusion: The functionality of the plans does not match the market price, there is no detailed reporting on the impact of their application on your profitability, reviews moderation is difficult and the support team does not prepare for your calls to improve the results on the platform and only promises to pass information to other departments.

Set this up, assumed it was all working, one of the team reached out and said it is cheaper to go direct with them and cut out Shopify so I said fine, switch me over. A few months go by and I wonder why I have 0 reviews, go to login, no access in account, no active plan running. No reviews requested or collected this whole time. Speak to support to unlock account, pay for an annual plan, ask for help backdating review requests that I missed. But.. you need a more expensive plan. So I have missed out on reviews for months without my knowledge. Do not recommend.
