AVOID THIS APP!! Instantly after installing this app my website speed plummeted and became so slow and laggy, which has never happened before! To make matters worse this app has reset lots of my website - ruining several months of hard work!! I have descriptions missing, images missing and after contacting support they continue to tell me to be patient and refuse to listen to a thing i say... oh, and not to mention this was all done without my consent! Worst decision i have made as a business owner has been installing this terrible app!

It appears that the image name was modified, which resulted in a broken link within the product theme template configuration. To resolve this, the image can be restored, and we recommend avoiding the name modification function to prevent similar issues. Reason: It is because the images on the homepage are also being used in the product/collection images, which are the optimized images as well, and you chose these images to change their filename, causing the path of the images to be all changed so the images will not be able to be visited since the paths are not the same ones as before. We have the reminder about this situation below the filename; this can't be avoided, but we have the solution. Solution: You could turn off the auto button first Restore the images Go to settings and turn off the button of changing the filename Select all images to re-optimize again; the problem will be solved. If you have any more questions, please reopen this chat thread, and I will gladly help you. installed the SEOAnt app briefly—approximately 5 minutes—before determining it was not suitable for my store and promptly uninstalling it. Months later, I was shocked to discover a random $20 charge from this app on my Shopify invoice. Despite my immediate attempts to dispute the charge with Shopify, I was informed that app developers like SEOAnt operate with minimal accountability and, seemingly, without oversight. Shopify deflects responsibility, while the app creators remain unresponsive and unaccountable for unauthorized charges. This experience highlights a glaring issue: app developers can charge users arbitrarily with no consequence, even after their apps are removed. Such practices are not only unethical but suggest a complete disregard for the Shopify community and paying merchants. At this point, I simply want my money refunded for a service I did not use or authorize. I strongly urge other Shopify merchants to exercise caution before installing SEOAnt—or any app that exploits the lack of checks and balances on Shopify’s platform. If this charge is not resolved, I will escalate the matter further. Transparency, accountability, and fair business practices are non-negotiable, and SEOAnt has fallen far short of these standards.

DO NOT USE THIS APP IF YOUR SITE IS HARD CODED. I have been having an issue for an entire week with this app. The dev team is in another country and doesn't respond to issues ASAP. I used the on page seo scan to update 3 of my product pages. The pages ended up getting distorded. I lost all of my images and then when the team worked on it, it restored the page back to factory settings and gave me instrucitons to fix myself. I had to go to my coders and pay $600 to fix this problem. When I offered a suggestion to have a warning sign that alerts people with hard coded sites, they didn't understand the problem. I'm now in day 5 with a messed up product page and no help from the team. I need a refund and a credit for the cost to fix everything!

Oberflächlich ok, aber im Detail eine Katastrophe und zerstört komplett das Seiten SEO! Erstes Beispiel: die automatische von SEOAnt erstellte Sitemap enthält die Startseite nicht! Dh die wichtigste Seite fehlt in der Sitemap. Kann man eigentlich gar nicht glauben! Und ich fragte mich schon seit Wochen, warum unsere Seite (Startseite ist für 80% des organischen traffics verantwortlich) nicht mehr rankt und total abstürzt. Zweites Beispiel: keine multilingualen sitemaps also für mehrsprachige Shops zu vergessen Drittes Beispiel: Funktion "exchange backlinks" kann nur auf die Startseite verlinken, was bei fremdsprachigen links und mehrsprachiger Seite absolut kontraproduktiv ist. Also ist das tool wertlos, weil nicht fertig programmiert. Der Support ist zu 90% komplett inkompetent! Alles in allem ist Seoant eine massive Enttäuschung und sollte von niemandem mit mehrsprachiger Seite und Interesse an SEO verwendet werden. Ich kann davon nur abraten.

Let me be honest! I regret installing this app. After doing so, my website traffic plummeted significantly, and my website score dropped as well. I've encountered numerous issues since the installation, making it difficult to manage my site effectively. This app broke all of our Google links. Had to spend a couple of hours redirecting links all day and now have to figure out how to get Google to not send every link to a/p/ on our urls. Do not recommend.

The /a/p symbol in your URL indicates that the page is an Accelerated Mobile Page, which is optimized for mobile devices and loads quickly, enhancing user experience and potentially improving your store’s rankings. For example: If you search the website address wavwarehouse.com in the “Search box,” When you enable AMP and search the website address in the search box as above, Google will still treat this website address as a keyword query instead of a URL link. In this circumstance, the AMP page ranking will be displayed higher than the official website page. This is how AMP works and will help your store’s visibility in search results. The customer can easily find your store and enter this page much quicker with AMP. If you type the website URL link in the “link direct box,” When you input the website address in the link direct box, Google will direct to your official website. because in this situation, Google will detect that this is a URL link instead of a keyword query and direct to your official website instead of the AMP page, even if you enable this function. To resolve the issue, you can disable the AMP function, which will remove the /a/p symbol from the link. However, this may result in slower loading times and a less optimal user experience. When I press Site speed - the fixing button, my products have been reduced to a very small size. I sell clothes and accessories. Photos very important for me. The photos was already 200-250 KB, why app making 20-35 kb photos a lot smaller! I will get the system back, but it will go on my sales. It is really sad, the efforts I have given for months went to go nothing with a app. I do not recommend!

claimed they were giving me a discount and charged me full price I cancel the app and they still charged me they claim they refunded me but still haven't located the money I found on shopify they say partially refunded but no credit on shopify nothing in my bank from them they just took my monies and im filing a claim with my bank

So many issues. Notice how many reviews are about the quality of support? Sure, the support folks are nice. The amount of reviews citing the need to contact support should give you pause because: the app does not work. I have tried this app 3 times now and each time I end up uninstalling it soon thereafter because some major paid features simply don't work. And support can't or won't fix it. They will talk to you about it but then that's it. They won't provide forward-looking instructions or a timeline they can abide (always 12-24 hours for resolution, then they push it another day, and another day.) They always need access to the store, which concerns me when they are not truly able to fix the issues. Why do they need so many permissions to the store? That's very suspicious. Bulk editing does not work. And that is a paid feature. So if you have tons of content you want to edit in bulk, this app won't do it. Other UX features: if you need to edit H1 headers, doing so won't trigger the save function. You'll have to edit the H1, then add a space, and THEN the save button will appear. It's all just very sloppy.

UPDATE: Looks like when the SEOAnt team manually removed their the code from my store, they also ripped out a load of the HEAD scripts, including all tracking for META Pixel. I've just now found this out and this explains why META ads have dropped in performance by 300% this past 4 days - Pixel was receiving no data! Bottom line - the cowboys at SEOAnt cost me circa $3000 in lost profits when they removed our tracking scripts. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Original Review: The single worst app experience I have had in 3 years of running Shopify stores. 1.They present you with a site speed score (in glowing red -'warning, your site is the slowest we've seen etc etc), then push you to hire their premium site speed services. Thing is, my site gets an A rating on GT Metrix. It is not a slow site. It does not need $100s spent speeding it up. 2. They charged me $59.99 within 10 minutes of installing, despite a 7 day trial period. I had to chase them to get a refund via Shopify chat and at time of writing, no refund received. 3. On uninstalling, it left some code in the store which left an ugly error on the homepage on the customer-facing front end. Looks awful and at time of writing review, they still haven't been able to remove it. Awful experience!

Nicht vertrauenswürdig. Sehr chaotisch in der freien Version. Dann wird dir der Google Speed so niedrig angezeigt, damit man mehr Geld bezahlt. Passt nicht zu den Google Speed Daten die man im Netz bekommt. Abzocke?! Ich warne auf jeden fall vor diesem Geschäftsgebaren und werde kein Geld für die Pro Version bezahlen.

This app is terrible. Initially, I thought it was a helpful app, so I subscripted to this app and start the monthly payment. But just on the third day, the app caused a devastating problem in my shop, and I need to spend days to fixed the problems one by one. The robot automatically replaced all my product's meta and title. what's more, they are unable to fix this problem caused by their app, and they just can feel so sorry...In addition, to avoid more risks that might be caused by this app, I have deleted it and asked them for a refund. they refused.

Dear shopify users, I am not going to be judgemental but I am going to tell you my experience with SEOAnt I have an issue with my shopify admin which keeps reloading constantly and not being able to customize it. I asked an expert who was able to determne the issue and said it is SEOAnt app keep throwing errors So I contacted them to solve this issue and no luck so far to the point they stopped answering me on their chat and when they answer they ask me to e patient finallyI decided to uninstall the app I do not understand howcome an external expert is able to fix it and their experts are not Anyway, finally I unistalled the app and every thing now working well another issue they always report to me that there are 2744 broken links I redirced these broken links hundreds of time and they keep sending me the same report I checked my site by using another app and no broken links !! Why is that? No answer ! I had issues with them before but I will not bother you with all now I am happy that my admin is working fine now and I will not reinstal this app any more in essence, I am fully unsatisfied with them and their support to answer my question and solve my issues promptly ( I do not think they know how to fix bugs in their app)

When I optimised images, it corrupted many of them with strange artifacts/defects that looked like weird photoshopping. Support was good explaining how to restore, but that experience immediately broke my trust in the app. Subsequently, after removing, I have found it has left behind schema code that is affecting my store's schema.

it wants unnecessary access permission: - View personal customer data (emails, phone numbers, addresses). A normal SEO app does NOT need this. - Edit orders !!! - View Shopify admin -Edit other data (Locales, Shopify Markets settings, translations)
