It's much better than the other page layout apps I've used for Shopify although it would be nice if you could design headers and footers with it and apply different ones to different pages. I had a major issue and customer support resolved it. I will be recommending this to some of my other clients as well.

Es macht mit Shogun richtig Spaß Seiten und Blog-Artikel zu erschaffen. Wer etwas coden kann wird hier noch bessere Ergebnisse erzielen können. Schade, dass die Global snippets nicht im günstigsten Plan enthalten sind. Der Preis ist auch etwas hoch wie ich finde. Was mich jedoch sehr stört ist die schlechte Performance wenn man größere Seiten oder Blog-Artikel schreibt. Leider neige ich dazu sehr ausführliche Inhalte zu schreiben. Dann fängt alles an zu hängen und man kann nicht mehr vernünftig Tippen. Das muss dann extern passieren. Dann gehts nur noch mit copy and paste der Texte. Für Shops, die nur Ads schalten sollte dies aber kein Problem sein. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist auch der schnelle und nette Kundenservice.

Had couple of issues regarding instagram embeds styling and Rhys took his time to assist with the settings as well as sending me guides on how he's done it which was super helpful for next time! Rhys was super responsive, helpful and most certainly a 'teacher' - I've learnt quite a few bits about Shogun features that I didn't know prior to today.

From the standpoint of a developed business with hundreds of pages and 3 stores, Shogun is great. We can build pages and tailor them to any device and sync pages across all of our stores. Before this I was hand coding front end stuff with CSS and HTML which is a grueling and cumbersome task in comparison. Support is fast and helpful, though we rarely need it. There is only 1 bug that remains to be fixed since I started using it a year ago, but I consider it a nuance of a very robust backend/ behind-the-scenes system. Also, the "equalize column heights" feature has always been a bit buggy and sometimes stretches your page into infiniti, and as you scroll to try and catch up the problem worsens, not unlike a dog chasing its tail, if the dog's body kept stretching at a function of the speed at which he is chasing it.

the "free plan" doesn't actually allow you to do anything useful. more overpriced garbage.

I submitted several tickets and always got prompt responses from their team. Alex and Reese have been especially helpful and even took time to demonstrate things over a zoom call. I had all of my questions answered and they even took the time to show me something upcoming that I am particularly interested in. I love the app and plan to be using it for a long time. I've been testing out a few page builder apps to avoid having to re-code our product page templates every time there is a theme update. After checking out Shogun, I was really impressed not only with the functionality of the app itself, but also the customer support! Sweetan assisted me a few times and went above and beyond. Not only answering all of my questions, but also providing detailed information i needed. I will say there is a learning curve, but plenty of support and I love that you have the ability to create sections and not just a full page in the builder.
