I use this app to create custom landing pages mostly, and it has been a tremendously helpful resource their development. adding, and manipulating content blocks is easy and intuitive, and you can expect a welcomed amount of customization potential. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star is that I would like to see more control of text related properties, as well as an AJAX cart integration. This App is well worth the money!!

Straight foward and very easy to use in general, however I would like the app to be completely integrated with the actual admin back-end.

The "add product collection" section (which is a huge part of a home page), is a terrible native design. The pictures don't line up, because the text from the title can't be aligned. The way Shopify builds their collection pages is beautiful. It's a shame I can't use that feature and just skip Shogun's collection snippet altogether. I can't make a home page with a collection section looking as bad as Shogun's does natively. Also the drag and drop feature only works like half the time. I've had to switch browsers back and forth a few times already because it doesn't register that I'm dragging a block. The collection page is what really is disappointing though. UPDATE: I have changed my review after some support from their team. The last 2 hours in my browser, I have had little to no trouble with the drag and drop. I'm not sure why it was messing up, but it seems better now. Also, the solution for the collection was to keep my homepage in the Shopify native builder, but add "pages" in Shogun where there were elements I wanted to change. This allows me to keep Shopify formatting I like, but customization in other elements that Shogun offers. Prompt response from support, and thoughtful answers. Changed from 1 to 4 stars

The Product Collection element could definitely use some improvement and additional functionality. Feedback is warranted there. I have used Shogun for nearly a year now. I use it to create landing pages. It's very intuitive with nice features. Though, I wish I could use the content scheduler without upgrading to the hightest tier. I docked a star because the workflow in the layout tab could be better. Plus, it has hung on me few times (though not recently). Once to the point a refresh didn't even fix it. I had to reach out to support to fix the issue. Fortunately, their support is great and responds quickly. Highly recommend!

I used this app for all our stores layout and it is a unique experiences. It would be great if it can centralise all the content with multiple languages.

It's good for making simple pages. Bugs up sometimes depending on the browser I'm using to create the pages. Definitely still good for people without any coding skills.

Hey Alexandre! Thanks for the kind words and the feedback. Which browser are you having issues with? Should run perfectly on Chrome and Safari. IE is pretty dated and doesn't handle complex web app functions (like WYSIWYG and drag and drop) as well as Chrome and Safari. I used this app to create a landing page. It´s been a very useful app, very customizable. However, I would appreciate more help documentation. The email support was great!

I installed this app to check it's possibilities for customizing my website. During "test drive" it did seem as easy to use app. But at the end realised that for now we're good with themes desing possibilities. The support team is super helpful and quick to respond.

Great for editing product pages. However, the app will only load up pages partially every now and then. When this happens, it will create a duplicate product on your store with an image load error. Customers can see the error too.

A great app. Shogun has been great in their product and support. I moved from Squarespace to Shopify and working with HTML pages was a problem. I use Shogun and it helps with making my info pages beautiful. Support is great as well.

I can see that this is v powerful so am happy that I've purchased it. To be honest I found the early stages confusing as it's not the most intuitive software I've ever used so it took me a while to get it working. That said, I made contact with their support and they've been super helpful and sorted me out completely. My suggestions would be to enable phone support (love Shopify's support calls, so much better than email based) and to develop a new onboarding program where it takes me through the principles of how it works as much as the details of how you do specific things. I think they have all the right detail out there in various vids but they need a more comprehensive 'Getting Started' program that's in one place and I can watch for 10 minutes and be super familiar - I felt a bit like I had to negotiate a not-super-intuitive platform in the dark. But overall it's a great platform.

Really good app for getting a custom feel for your pages. The "Blocks" give creative ideas and things soon begin slotting into place, plus there's plenty of guides on how to use the app. Does have the odd bug for me, where the odd page does glitch a little, but this is v.minor.

We love our experience using Shogun Page Builder so far! The app is so easy to use and navigate. It does make designing a page a lot easier. Definitely the best page builder app on Shopify!

Serious game changer, It takes a second to get your head around... especially the screen sizes options. If you have any experience with web design, maybe Wordpress page builders for example, you'll be able to "Plug 'n' Play"... but if you're a beginner, give yourself some time to learn Shogun. It's possible for anyone to use I'm sure of it, I'm pleased with Shogun Page Builder, the only reason I gave a 4 star is the price. My client approved the monthly payments, but if it was a personal site, I'd deal with going the "long way around" and saving myself a lot of money. It's a shame it's so expensive... but I guess you get what you pay for in this world.

This app is nothing short of incredible. If you do not know HTML, CSS, or have ANY CLUE what Liquid coding is, and you are dissatisfied with the static nature of the average Shopify theme, and feel trapped inside of your page with no way out -- THEN THIS IS THE APP FOR YOU. Allows you to make extremely major changes to your page without having to know the code. BRILLIANT. AND THEIR SUPPORT TEAM IS INCREDIBLE AS WELL. You may be thinking, "Well, forty dollars a month is a lot to shell out for ...." WELL GUESS WHAT: You get a ten day free trial, and after that, IF YOU GET RID OF THE APP AT ANY TIME, AND ALL THE CHANGES YOU MADE USING SHOGUN STICK AROUND AFTER. I am only giving four stars for now, because they are working on improving some things - but that's the other thing. THEY ARE ACTUALLY WORKING ON IT. I looked up a FAQ on how to do something, and it was not able to be done. THE NEXT DAY, THEY HAD A FAQ UP EXPLAINING HOW TO DO IT. And their support chat feature, gee golly gosh - they are usually EXTREMELY responsive, and only take about ten minutes to get back to you - EVEN IF it is AFTER 5 pm. In Long, this app is thebomb.com and you should add it to your store RIGHT NOW. And pay them for at least a month of the subscription. THEY WORK HARD AND THEY DESERVE IT.

Very easy to use and a huge step up on Shopify's standard blog/page builder. Overall a very positive addition to our store and would definitely recommend to others. A few slight tweaks could improve the overall experience: Mobile optimsation doesn't display exactly as it does on a mobile device. The 'advanced settings' box are difficult to input data in to as you can't see what numbers you're putting in. Bit of guesswork needed. The in app picture compression/editing software does not always work well enough to use.
