The app was straight forward for the most part - however slightly confusing on the customer side of it between what members and guests had to do in order to get their sign up points. Once I spoke to smile customer service (Joshua) he was great! Loved his videos and he totally rocks a good radio voice. If it wasn't for the videos I would be lost as to how to help my customers, but this definitely helped. It would be good for this kind of information to be provided in a demo video upon downloading the app to assist admin. Thanks, Jodi

First of all, Nicole was AWESOME today and very helpful with our Klaviyo/Smile points integration. Separately, IMO, Smile.io is not seamless. We wish referral code(s) for more straight forward and easier for customers to share & use. Also, no landing page integration is a miss.

Good app, good response time to problems. Sometimes rewards are issued as a discount code, and sometimes as a gift card code. Haven't been able to figure out why yet.

Customer service was very helpful and responded super quick. My challenge is with the customer user interface. It's not intuitive that customers should click on the 'Get Perks' icon in order to access their loyalty account. If I already signed up, I wouldn't need to 'get' perks - I would already have them. Maybe this is something that is fixed in the upgrade plans but for the basic plan, I found it to be counter-intuitive.

I vetted a few different rewards programs and landed on Smile. It has all the features I need and customer service is always helpful.

After lots of emails back and forth to find out when the full integration with Recharge would be coming into play (Smile don't have a mailing list to update clients, I just had to keep checking back), I finally spoke to Joshua who was really helpful and went through all the things I can do with Smile, and how to get set up. He was really helpful so I was really impressed and look forward to getting it all set up!

The free version covers all the basics and works seamlessly with our store, and the support team is very responsive. The only thing I would change is the pricing - I would have loved the ability to connect it to an app to reward customers for reviews, but 49 USD/month is a bit outside our budget right now. I'd have preferred a lower fee for the first tier even if it meant not having the free version. But can highly recommend it and it works as expected.

App works great and value for money is really good. you have the most important options for rewards given. Only 1 integration for the medium price is a little downsized in my opinion. at least two would make the app much more workable. Customization options are great. The only thing Im really missing is the integration of a widget of smile in the page building process. So you could create a landing page where the customer has all access to all information for registration, see the balance, basically everything you can do in the launcher as of now. Shopfiy 2.0 now layed the path! Would be amazing to see! Shoutout to the support really quick and clever responses. Shoutout to Jake, what a legend!

We've just started using Smile and all of our customers like it so far! It is easy to start up and everyone is so helpful when you message (and quick to reply). So far so good!

So far, Smile has been incredible for our company. It's very user- and brand-friendly. I only wish I could snag our customer's birthdays from Smile to integrate into Klaviyo for our email flows!
Good morning! Thanks for sharing your kind and honest feedback π - brand customisation is one of my favourite features too! If you have a developer, you should be able to retrieve the birthday from our API, and then populate it into Klaviyo using their API. If you haven't already, feel free to reach out and we can discuss options π

We've been using Smile now for a couple of years and have been very pleased with our choice. We are on the basic plan and it has everything we need. They've also just added some new functionality for redeeming through POS which is fantastic since we just opened a retail location. Anytime we've had any issues or questions, they've been very quick to respond and helpful. Lisa was great and gave me exactly what I needed to know to fix my issue. Only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is that the POS redemption option could be a bit more seamless but I'm sure in time that will come.

A great app in most ways, but with one big flaw. If you're using Recharge for subscriptions, there is no way to make it so that coupons created by Smile work for both one-off and subscription orders. They can only work for one-off orders (unless you're using an older version of ReCharge installed prior to Nov. 1st, 2020). Unfortunately Smile tells me they have no immediate plans to fix this flaw.

I am still just getting to know the App but so far it is very intuitive and easy to use with plenty of integrations, which I really like! The people are also very helpful when I had questions and they gave very detailed responses! :)
