At first I felt very overwhelmed with setting up this app for my store but it really is worth it after I got amazing support with setting up and ensuring everything was up and running! Millie was a great help and always there to answer any questions I had. Starshipit has been so easy now that its all set and running. Definitely recommend

Tech support is effectively non-existent. We’ve experienced multiple instances where the system has stopped working, and it is impossible to get hold of anyone. Phone calls go unanswered, emails take days to receive a response, and during this time our dispatch operations come to a complete standstill. We cannot have staff unable to dispatch orders for 24–48 hours while waiting for support to respond. For a system that is critical to daily order fulfilment, immediate and reliable technical support is essential to ensure our dispatch team can operate efficiently. In addition, the system does not automatically sync order updates. If an order is edited in Shopify, those changes are not reflected in StarShipIt. As a result, staff are forced to delete and reimport all orders daily. This has led to multiple instances of incorrect items being dispatched due to this significant technical limitation.

We're glad your Shopify sync issue has been resolved, as orders should update automatically via webhook triggers (no need to delete and reimport), which has now been set up for your account. setup is nightmare.

It looks like the app was installed and uninstalled pretty quickly, which meant we didn’t get a chance to assist you directly. Just to clarify, while Starshipit is recommended by NZ Post, it does require a separate Starshipit account to connect properly with your Shopify store. We completely understand this can be confusing if you weren’t expecting to create a new login. So this is a full on scam, it says right in there app listing that its 30 a month and then when you add the app it goes right up to 90 a month and they tell you there is no such thing as a 30 a month plan. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS APP

Comparing those numbers to AUD pricing can create the impression of a jump. The $30/month Starter plan is still available in the App Store (USD), which our team clarified on your call. We run a single Shopify store with multiple fulfilment locations and spent a significant amount of time trying to make Starshipit work reliably. In the end, the only stable solution was to use Starshipit purely for label printing inside the Shopify admin and avoid the Starshipit app interface entirely. The core issue is that Starshipit is not ready for true multi-location fulfilment unless you are willing to operate under a strict no-changes post-purchase policy. Any changes after checkout (for example address updates) often required orders to be deleted from child accounts and manually re-imported, which is not scalable. Shopify order splits across locations caused ongoing fulfilment and writeback issues, leading to duplicated or reappearing orders and added admin work. This cost us thousands in time and operational overhead. Support was slow to respond, but to their credit, they did eventually try to help and were transparent about platform limitations. Unfortunately, the workarounds were too manual for a growing business. Starshipit may work well for single-location stores with minimal post-purchase changes, but for multi-location operations that value flexibility and customer service, it is not production-ready in its current form.

We started using Starshipit in order to use Uber Delivery. However, we encountered issues right from the setup stage, and it’s been over a month now without resolution. Uber’s support has clearly stated that Starshipit needs to create an admin account for us, but Starshipit has been passing the buck and not addressing the problem. To this day, it’s still unresolved. They don’t reply to our emails, and despite paying for Starshipit, we have not been able to use it at all. This is by far the worst Shopify app service we have ever experienced — without exception.
Hi I Computer Gaming, we’re sorry this hasn’t been the smooth start we aim for. After investigating with Uber, we found the issue was caused by a mismatch in account types; you had an Uber for Business account rather than the required Uber Direct account. This meant rate calls couldn’t be made and neither Uber’s nor Starshipit’s support teams could progress the setup until that was clarified. Since your ticket was raised on July 30th, our support, partnerships, and development teams have been actively liaising with yourself and Uber to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Uber has now acknowledged the situation and apologised for the confusion. Once the new Uber Direct account is finalised, your Starshipit setup should be ready to go. Good when it works, but avoid having any issues as customer service is non existent and wont respond to emails.

We offer quite a variety of different sized products and use several delivery partners which can make shipping complex. The starshipit app helped us to streamline this process and accurately attribute the correct rate to our orders which has been a game changer. Big thanks to the Starshipit team (especially Millie) for helping us get everything set up!

This app is very intuitive and easy to use. Would never sync all of our orders. Tried everything in support even using their debug tool to manually sync and it would keep skipping orders. You can't trust this program to manage your shipping if it loses orders.

Starshipit and their team (especially Millie!) have made transitioning to the platform so seamless, it has honestly been the easiest integration for our e-comm business. Starshipit is saving us so much time manifesting and dispatching orders- we love it! Would recommend to any e-comm business looking to streamline their operations.

I give them a big fat ZERO stars for support. Their claim, "5-star support and onboarding included with every plan", is overstated. Don't expect any assistance from support; go straight to the FAQ for support....
