Great job to the team for building this. One thing that is missing though and which is kind of a must have is the alt text translation. I've seen this mentioned a few times in comments already and as it hasn't been developed yet I'm guessing the team is kind of struggling on it ;) Anyways hope they find a way to solve this as it will definitely make the app perfect.

Lovely app. But please add support for more auto-languages. Two is really not enough and makes it very hard for us Europeans to use this as our only translation app. You know, if I'm selling from Sweden I would like to have at least German, French, Spanish, Danish, Norwegian and Finnish in my shop.

Les traductions en français sont excellentes, très peu de corrections au niveau de la grammaire et le ça respecte le style.

Nice native app. The biggest pitfall and the reason why we are writing this review is that "...up to two languages for free..." in the app description actually means "...up to two languages, doesn't matter if you're willing to pay or not..." Would be greatly appreciated to have the ability to auto-translate in more than 2 languages.

It does 80% of the work for you, but you still have to review the translations just to make sure. Great app!

I would give 5 stars if they include Arabic in the supported languages...the App is functional and easy to use.... Recommended

It work well, since it's easy to find the part to translate. Nevertheless it does not automatically translate changes in the default language. In addition, only 2 automatically translated languages are limited.

Content translated into Vietnamese language doesn't show up on Google. SEO works only for default language.

not good if you want your store to have good translation I could not fix translation of main menu, collections, products etc.

I love the idea of been able to reach customers who speak other languages specially in the USA where people comes from different backgrounds and ethnicities. Is a little bit limited with numbers of the languages that can be translated to, but other than that I love the app.

Works well and is easy to use. Did two languages for our website. You can click on translate and move on to the next section.

Pretty good but still needs some work. A few things I've noticed, there's no bulk translate option for single words. We sell car parts in the UK and launched a US store. The only things that need translating are things like Bonnet to Hood, Wing to Fender etc. There's no way to do this without going into every instance where it occurs. It would be so easy to do if I could just change all instances of "colour" to "color" and "boot" to "trunk". There's also a few areas where it's still missing. One example is shipping. There's nowhere to translate your shipping names so you need to create new rates for each language you use. It's not a big issue but could be better.
Hi there- thanks for trying the app and the review. It would be worth combining your Translate & Adapt workflows with the translations CSV (Settings > Languages > Export). This exports all your translations, which are the same translations that are visible and editable in Translate & Adapt. You can find and replace in a spreadsheet, and delivery methods are there under DELIVERY_METHOD_DEFINITION.

I'm satisfied with this app for the most part. Yes, I have to manually go in and update quite often when new products or collections are added (I've had to do this on paid apps as well to be fair), but the app is otherwise fairly seamless. However, it does not translate my Collections List, which is a format offered in my theme (Impulse) and which I use in my navigation bar. It makes no sense not to be able to translate this one page - it simply cannot be found in the app.

Easy to work with, hope for more languages soon!
Hi, thanks for trying the app and sorry to see this review. The duplicated translations are coming from duplicated products. This isn't something Translate & Adapt controls. What's happening is this: when you duplicate a product, just as in the default language all the info is copied to the new one, it's the same with translations. This is so, for example, if you'd done some painstaking manual translations on a red sofa, you wouldn't have to start from scratch for a blue sofa. This does mean, however, if you go to auto-translate then the system will see the duplicated translations as manual content and not override them, which may be why you saw the issues that you did. We are working on this flow right now, and making that distinction clearer - and making copying translations optional. In the short term, just delete the content in the fields you want to translate (right hand side of Translate & Adapt editor), save, and then click auto-translate.

Translations are inconsistent both in wording and formatting, and are often inaccurate. Each translation requires manual review and revision which is very time consuming. Disappointed in the unreliability of the translation process and decided to remove the app.

Great app. However, it seems to be missing the possibility of translating ALT text. Is this feature coming in the near future?

Terrible assistence and support. There is no instruction anywhere, if there is a problem they do not help and ask you to hire someone. Terrible button!!! It's at the bottom of the page where no one sees, has no choice of style and how to switch to the header. There's no way to know whether or not it's working.
To update, the issues here were around placement of the language switcher and challenges with a 3rd party theme. Support has been provided. Please be in touch.
