I had a fully paid subscription plan valid until 2026. Since we won't be selling anymore after 2026, I decided to cancel the subscription to prevent automatic renewal. However, after doing this, all app features were disabled. I've tried contacting support, but there's no available communication channel. I need the features of the already-paid plan to be restored or a refund issued.

I’m really sorry for the confusion and frustration this caused. Shopify manages all billing and subscription changes automatically, so when a subscription is canceled, they also remove access to the paid features. I’ve actually reached out by email a few times but didn’t hear back. For some Reason when i enabled this app on my product page, it changed all the Pictures that were previosly in the Photo section AND even changed review pictures to variant pictures which is outragues!!! do they not check what happens when someone casually installs that plugin, damn crazy

I was using this app for 2 swatch colour products because Shopify has a quantity limit. I was unaware that the starter plan had changed to 1 product, removing the swatch colour option from one of my best sellers until a customer placed an order and I had to email asking for their preference. I have had to find another app, set up and start again from scratch. I was informed of the changes prior to this but I'm not paying nearly £10 just for a second option, I couldn't even open my 2nd option to copy the colour swatches until I upgraded. I don't usually leave reviews and long ones, but hope this helps someone before I uninstall.

You will be happy to hear we switched to another company called StackHERO February 21st at 4am PST. We upgraded our mysql version, client library, and have unlimited connections now. We haven't seen any emails about this issue since. I am sorry for all the issues, and the inconvenience it has caused you and your business. We were trying our best to work with the company we used for the MySQL database. We went back and forth with them making changes thinking the issue was fixed only to have it come up again intermittently. It has been very frustrating to say the least. It is very hard to understand your product before I even start. On one had it says you won't be charged until you upgrade, then it says you have a 14 day trial after which it will be $9.99? Which one is it?

Update: We just updated our app :) You will now be allowed to use our app for free with unlimited product options on one product. We also still offer the app completely free to anyone on a development store. Old reply: Hi Steven. I sent you an email explaining everything there. Our app is free for development stores and merchants that are on a Shopify Trial and not on a paid plan for Shopify. After years of having this app at 9.99 I noticed my add ons not working. I was then told I needed to upgrade! Like what?? You are thieves - no prior notification. I chose a plan and get told I need to upgrade when nothing has changed from my side? I do not recommend

Hi Cheryl, I'm sorry there was a little confusion on what plan you had to be on for price add-ons to work. We try our best to clearly communicate that price add-ons are only available on the Advanced Plan. From day one we have had this information clearly stated on the app listing and plans page in our app. I also see you emailed us 3 years ago that price add-ons weren't working. We replied stating you needed to be on the Advanced Plan for price add-ons to work. After that, I see you were on the Advanced Plan for 2 years. Several months ago you downgraded the app again and sent an email about the same issue. We replied again stating the price add-ons are only available in the Advanced Plan. We are just a two-person company trying to make the best apps possible with the best customer service. If you think there is another place where we could have this information please email me back and let me know.

does not allow variants to send digital files. The developers offer no assistance. Take it as it is or leave it. UPDATE: no app like Variant Option Product Options that I could find allows digital downloads. I found a workaround after spending 2 weeks and figured out that I could use shopify's variants for the digital downloads, then use Variant Option Product Options for the remainders. The pricing ads up correctly. so i did reinstal the app and it is working I wish they could have told me about a workaround instead of me spending 30 hours of my time figuring out a workaround. they should give me free lifetime subscription for helping them resolve their problem.

Don't download this app! It suddenly removes all your variants, leaving your shop with only the add to cart button. It happens randomly, after you notice it its already hours past and you lost your daily ads money plus all orders. It's a critical issue very huge catastrophic problem. And there is nothing for you to do! You have to turn off your ads and wait for them to reply your emails, rendering your complete shop useless and on their careless hands. It's so frustrating, worst experience with an app ever here on shopify!! DON'T DOWNLOAD!! Answer to your reply: yes it took you 3 hours to reply my email but the technical issue lasted 24hours. 16 hours until I noticed. I lost approx 1.000$ through this problem. You going to refund that?

THIS APP IS A JOKE! Wish I read the bad reviews first. you can not TRACK INVENTORY! Yes you can do more than 100 variants but that is not transferred back to shopify to enter quantities. So you basically can not put any INVENTORY QUANITIES, PRODUCT SKUS, BAR CODES! Have to mention that the customer support may take several days to reply, and this app will completely mess up your product page layout!!!

Hi Mary Ann, I am sorry the app didn't fit your needs. I see we always responded to your emails within a few hours. You can keep track of inventory and SKU's with Shopify Options and use our app to style those options. Or you can use our Virtual Options to add an infinite amount of options and variants. These however don't keep track of inventory or support SKUs. Can you give us more information about what you mean by "completely mess up your product page layout". I didn't see any emails about that.

Use Variant Option Product Options by Best instead! This app, by Relentless Apps, was the first one to do Image Swatches that I came across when I was first opening my shop, and I wish I never had added it. When I first got it, it was free, and I could use the Image Swatches for free as well, but eventually they decided to bump up their price to take advantage of fools like me who didn't have time to search for another app. The interface is infuriating and difficult to use, it's very counter-intuitive, has almost no visuals at all, at least, it didn't up until the moment I uninstalled it on March 28, 2022. You have to scroll through huge columns of text, you cannot search for your items by collection or tag, the only way to do anything in the app is to know the exact names of your items. The "Duplicate" option is phrased in a confusing way, so you can't tell if you're selecting the item you wish to copy or the item you wish to copy TO, it doesn't always work, and you can barely tell if it's done anything or not. You have to search for the item AGAIN, by its full title, to then click on it, and see if the change was made. I was able to accept all of these flaws because it was free. But for the last many months, without my really knowing, this app was costing me nearly $10 a month! Horrifying! The other odd thing I noticed was the name would change every now and then, which I found strange, but didn't think anything of it. Now that I see it has the same name as another app, which has all of the same features FOR FREE, and guaranteed to always be free. My guess is that they changed the name, probably multiple times, to try to match this other app, to trick more hapless fools like me into getting it, and then charging them nearly $10 a month for an app that barely functions. tldr: Get the app by Best of the same name. You won't be disappointed.

It doesn't sound like you are talking about our app. We have only ever offered a free version for development stores. When you installed the app you selected a subscription plan and accepted the monthly charges. For the Basic Plan, it is $8.99. We have kept our prices the same since we built the app in 2017. The free app you are talking about actually copied our app and functionality. The reason why it is free is they try to funnel you into their paid app that offers price add-ons and more features. They also copied our app name and the colors of our logo. It is a shame that Shopify lets companies completely copy your app but there is nothing we can do about it at the moment. For searching for the product you can easily find the product by searching the title or you can find your product in Shopify and then click our app from there to edit the product. You can also use our global options to add color swatches, image swatches, or buttons to all of your products. I am sorry the app didn't fit your needs. We are always working on improving our app and making it better for everyone. I looked for any recent emails from you but I couldn't find any. We are always here to help with fast support. This app appeared to be very good and useful, however it broke the swatch option on my product and would not uninstall completely. Contacting the app developer proved to be unhelpful as they stated that the app was fully removed and the issue was not something that was caused by their coding.

Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of time. It took me days to set up the app. Unfortunately, the app has some bugs, e.g. product prices are not transferred to the checkout page. The customer service responded relatively quickly, but could not help in most cases. The technician is booked out for days, I was told. To fix my problems I would have had to wait 4 (!!!) days. Such slow service can ruin your business. I definitely cannot recommend this app, it just has too many bugs.

When I looked into our emails I saw that we always responded within a few hours answering your questions and fixing any issues you had with the app. To be clear I do see Jon had told you it would take 1-4 days to fix your incompatibility issue with your theme where our app's virtual options were not showing there. All the billing is handled automatically through Shopify and depending on the day you get your bill you may get charged up to 30 days after you uninstalled the app for a previous billing period. I contacted Shopify and they issued you a refund. We also updated our app to give a cumulative 14 day trial. So now if someone installs the app for one day last year and installs again they will have 13 days left on their trial. You had previously installed our app last year and used up your free trial, so that is the reason why you were charged. Just went live with our restaurant and ran into the issue where orders came in without price add-ons. 2 out of the first 8 orders randomly did not charge for the add on items. The add on item added to the order (text) and displayed to the customer, however did not actually charge. Going to have to scrap this app and hundreds of hours of time creating our variants for hundreds of food items. Very disappointed and have been paying for this app during development. No testing yielded this, and we are using the app in the most off-the-shelf intention. Reading other reviews this has been a known issue since June 2020.
