Reached out to support with a simple question I am unable to find the answer to on their "help" forums. It's been three days and no response. Thankfully I am using their free version, but I wonder if the service is any better if you're paying? Definitely not a good first impression. I would be weary spending money on this app when their support team does not seem responsive.

Don't do it!! If only I had read all of the negative reviews before getting roped in. They now have me stuck in a $10k/yr contract and are trying to squeeze me for more money just because I have localized my international stores with the proper .ca .com.au .com.uk etc....I can get most of the features with other review companies such as stamped.io for under $100/month. I'll have to wait out my contract and then figure out how to get my reviews all transferred if possible. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE!!

The interface for this app is poorly designed and not easy for clients to work with. I've also had issues with being billed twice for one subscription and haven't received any answers from their support team to remedy the situation. Buyer beware -- there are plenty of review apps out there that function better than this one and offer MUCH better support & billing practices.

Their sales team are way too aggressive and make promises they can't keep. reneged on a written contract we had in place.

This app doesn't give you a chance to configure the settings, emails etc. - it just sends emails on its own, with no chance to review/track or anything! I have never seen anything like this.

A way too expensive and not worth it and definitely not worth the investment. I wish I elected Yotpo competitor, same price, and much much better customer service and all customer service is located in the USA.

Yotpo now think they are entitled to the following data from your website "This includes all order details for all time. Yotpo Reviews - Product Reviews, Site Reviews, Photo Reviews will be able to access data such as customer names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, geolocations, IP addresses, and browser user agents" I really dont think so yotpo. Ill be switching so you dont get your hands on and collect my customers data thank you very much.

I was excited about this initially but not anymore. Their service response time is super slow....takes a number of days...for simple fixes...and that IS NOT how a business runs in this age of the digital world....may be because my service is free...but that's even worse....looking an alternative before my store gets traction! i could give a Minus 1 Star..if there was an option!

Can I give zero stars? The worst. I really had a bad experience with Yotpo. Their platform is extremely clunky to use and I don't recommend using them. You want to use another platform because Yotpo will really slow your website down. They're just not made to really work well with Shopify. They're probably going to say in the reply 'yes we are!'. No. They're not. Really poor customer service too. They're super unfriendly. We were told a lot of untruths by Yotpo that resulted in a $1200 payment being taken from our account - even though we had cancelled months prior. So, if you're a small business and don't want to lose money to an unsupportive company - seriously... look somewhere else. Go with a company that will integrate with your newsletter software, won't slow your website down and get you penalised by Google. This is really important for your growth as a business. Also, Yotpo are being left behind by their competitors. Important to note again with Google - you want Google seller reviews. These are very useful for sales. Yotpo does not offer a good option for this. You have been warned.

DO NOT install this app. You'll be subjected to a lot of unsolicited phone calls or emails. We had this app for a few years until company was subjected to aggressive emails and phone calls. Completed transitioning to a different platform - much cheaper than what YotPo has to offer (paid plans) - and will *uninstall Yotpo.* Regarding pricing - YotPo's competitors has more features offered at $0 (free) or at a paid plan.

DO NOT install this app. I had it for a while but had never set it up or used it. When I finally did, it gave me the option to automatically install the review tab code on my site. What a mistake! My site started displaying improperly. Even after the Shopify guru deleted the code, the bug was still there. Not until I uninstalled the app did the problem go away.

The customer service is wasting a lot of my time. I believe they don't have time to read properly my emails and they keep going answering with completely pointless answers. I think it would take just a little bit more to understand what is my problem and try to really help me. By the way.. Automatic email after purchase are not working properly and I still don't understand if they are sent after the purchase or after the order is fulfilled. (I already wrote 3 emails to understand this point and I just got 3 answers without an answer!) I will now have to invest time to understand if it's possible to transfer the reviews to a new app and how to do that.. For sure I cannot hope in any real help from this people. Thank you for wasting at least 1 hour of my time!!!

Horrible customer service!!!!!! I really liked this app and was happy with the performance until I needed support. I have emailed support nearly 6 times over the last 3 days and received one response but when needed clarification has not responded. I am super bummed as now I will have to migrate away from this app when it really didn't need to happen. None of my reviews are showing correctly and I can't get any real time help ie. phone, chat or email. Phone calls go to voice mail where you are told your call won't be returned. There isn't a chat option and emails to support are not returned. Someone in the know could probably fix my issue in 5 minutes if they had a responsive support option. If you choose this app just cross your fingers you don't need any help in the future.
