This app appeared to be everything I needed and I was very wrong. I've never seen an app try to nickel and dime their clients so badly. Customer service is slow and unhelpful. They'll give you one answer to your question and then contradict themselves with a different answer to the same question; then offer to charge you an additional fee with a different app. I have invested a large amount of time into customization and I am now willing to throw that effort away and find a different app. I recommend to continue your search for this type of app and move along. Stay away from this product.

Great app with extensive features. Integration into shopify is quick and easy. Customizable products can be created from existing shopify products, so the plugin can handle variant products and stock levels. It has many options to build pricing structures e.g. based on print type, print size, quantity and more. The front end is designed well and doesn't feel like an external tool at all. We've tested several customization plugins, and this one finally has all the features we need. Plus, customer service has been really helpful with a few details we were missing.

Zakeke is a fantastic personalization tool! Easy to use, seamless Shopify integration, and great support. The 3D preview really helps customers and has boosted our sales. Highly recommended!

Great experience as a seller with the team. Fast, pro-active and friendly communication and a lot of willingness to find solutions and also advancing trust in growth. As the tool is constantly evolving, some reviews I saw here regarding a bad buyer experience are not true anymore. The usage for the customer is more intuitive now. Very reliable tool - would 10/10 recommend.

I was initially very excited to try Zakeke, as its functionality seemed perfect for automating and streamlining our customisation workflow. Zakeke promotes "Printing Methods" as a core feature — to quote their own description: “This is where you can create a printing method and assign it to one or more products, sides, or even variants.” However, after setting it up with a Print-on-Demand (POD) integration, I quickly discovered a major limitation: you cannot assign additional Printing Methods when using POD. This was a dealbreaker for us. The app markets itself as both POD-friendly and focused on advanced print configuration — but in practice, you have to choose one or the other. If you opt for POD, you lose access to what Zakeke itself calls a “core” part of the platform. It’s frustrating. We were hoping to use Zakeke to automate and control our custom print setup, but instead found it lacked the very functionality we needed most. If you rely on POD, be aware: you won’t be able to create Zakeke’s Printing Methods. That said, - their support team is very responsive and provided quick assistance when needed.

They not only allow customization of the design tools available to end customers but also define the type and structure of the print-ready file expected by the merchant. However, when it comes to Print-on-Demand (POD) products, we currently restrict access to Printing Methods. This is because POD workflows involve automatic file generation and submission to the POD provider, and allowing full customization of these parameters could result in files that are incompatible with the provider's print requirements — potentially causing orders to fail. That said, we fully understand how this can be frustrating, especially for users looking to combine the flexibility of Printing Methods with the convenience of POD automation. We're actively exploring ways to address this limitation, including a simplified version of Printing Methods that would be compatible with POD workflows without risking file rejection. (Updated Review) Zakeke has truly impressed me—not just with the platform itself, but with the team behind it. When I first started using Zakeke, I rated it 3 stars. The seller tools were excellent, but the buyer experience had some frustrating issues. I shared my concerns, and what really stood out is that the Zakeke team—including the COO—personally reached out to understand and address them. Since then, we’ve been working together on improving key parts of the experience, and I’ve already seen meaningful changes. If you’re a seller and run into challenges, don’t hesitate to speak up—Zakeke listens and genuinely works with you to improve the platform. While it can be pricy, the combination of robust features and responsive support makes it worth it. It’s not perfect yet, but it has a lot of potential, and I now feel confident recommending it.

I use Zakeke to create a 3D Guitar Configurator that enables my customer to preview and build their dream guitar. This helps me get rid of numerous back and forth mails with the customer to create custom renders, gives the customer real time preview with amazing features like dynamic weight and pricing. It really changed everything for us

È perfettamente integrato con i nostri modelli 3D già sviluppati, abbiamo dato la possibilità ai nostri clienti di mettere mano al prodotto, riducendo costi di personale e tempo di produzione. È una scelta estremamente vantaggiosa perché porta nuovi utenti al sito, rafforza l'immagine del nostro marchio e dà quel di più che non ci si aspetta da un'esperienza online. La sfida principale potrebbe essere il setup iniziale, ma grazie all'assistenza dedicata, abbiamo gestito tutto senza particolari sforzi. App works well. 3 stars because if you use Coreldraw, corel doesn't recognize the font when you import the svg. ( I did ask for help with this and they said it works fine with Illustraor etc..) This then causes a huge issue of figuring out what font was used. You can use Inkscape to figure it out but at that point I can do a layout way quicker. If they figured out the Corel issue this would be a great app. So to save my sanity I think I will be deleting it.

Zakeke's ultimate goal is to help print providers automate and scale operations by generating print-ready files that require no further intervention for order fulfillment. Among the various formats, Zakeke generates an SVG file according to international standards, which all graphic software, including CorelDRAW, can read. CorelDRAW still reads the SVG file but doesn't identify the font used. The SVG standard includes the font name in quotes (e.g., "Adamina"), but CorelDRAW fails to recognize it, requiring manual font identification. While this is a limitation of CorelDRAW, we understand it impacts your operations. We will soon release a fix to remove the quotes in the SVG for CorelDRAW, ensuring the font is recognized automatically. ***UPDATE July 2024*** Fix released last July 8. There are no longer any compatibility issues with SVG outputs in CorelDraw.

The program is great, and the features are excellent. The downside is that if something goes wrong with the app on the weekend, there is no customer service to get you back up and running. That's money lost until someone reaches out on Monday. On top of the monthly fee, the transaction fee adds up if you do a lot of sales.
