This is an absolute joke. The links that are sent out in the trial period only are based on the Premium plan. As soon as the trial period is over those links stop working and your customers get sent to a page that says if you want to track your order click here. Then they get to a tracking page on a subdomain of Aftership where they have to fill out the form again. here is the funny thing. The plan that supports those links is 240 Euros/Month. So you either pay for that or you have a bunch of customers left with a broken tracking link. On top of that the UX is horrible. I use so many different software all the time, so I usually find what I look for fairly quickly, but here it takes forever to find what you are looking for, options that are not clearly explained with no help text or anything. Support sucks balls and just closes tickets which sends you to a bot again and again and again. I understand, every software gives trials of premium features to increase customer LTV, but giving out features in the trial period that completely stops working unless you purchase the highest plan AND directly effect customers is ridiculous. Now I have a bunch of customers with broken links unless I upgrade to a 240 Euros plan. SMH. Funny thing is, tracking links is literally to most basic feature a tracking app should offer... I used Aftership for all my stores between 2017 and 2020 and wanted to implement it again, but as of 2024 its not recommended at all.

Worst Customer Service Experience – Avoid AfterShip at All Costs! If I could give AfterShip zero stars, I would. This has been, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with any company. I’ve been waiting for over three days for them to fix a SIMPLE issue, and all I get are empty promises and vague excuses about how they’re 'working on it.' Spoiler alert: they’re NOT. The sheer lack of urgency and professionalism is staggering. It’s obvious they don’t care about their customers or resolving issues in a timely manner. They just keep stringing me along with no real solutions, wasting my time and making me regret ever trusting them with my business. If you value your sanity, do yourself a favor and stay far, FAR away from AfterShip. This company is a joke and a complete waste of time. I’ll be looking for a more reliable alternative immediately. Absolutely pathetic service.

The customer service is non existent. Emailed with an urgent query and have been waiting for days. FYI I am on the paid plan with this app. No response at all and have followed up multiple times now. Very disappointed.

Absolutely useless customer service from Ankit. They take no responsibility for their partners that plugin to their software. It's ridiculous. Awful, awful customer service and the software is pretty awful too. Can't believe it's so expensive.

App doesn't work, seems to be linked to someone else's business and Aftership saying this isn't the case even after providing screenshots stating this. Seems the apps on Shopify need some better vetting process as too many frauds getting around

This app does nothing for you on the basic PAID plan. You're better off using a free tracking site. If you want ANYTHING extra (like a custom URL for your tracking so it doesn't show THEIR name in the URL) you have to pay $239.00 A MONTH!! Customer support sucks too, all they do is give you links to read articles when you have a question. I'm uninstalling this app and I JUST installed it.

The developer runs another set of apps under the name "automizely" that "generate traffic". Guess where this data comes from? It seems to come from unsuspecting websites that installed "aftership apps". Need proof? Go to your thank you page, and you will see several "remarketing" pixels that do not belong to you. The Aftership app seems to collect your user data, and then sell as part of their other venture "automizely". Once I raised it with them, they agreed to remove, but after 2 weeks, they are still dragging their feet.

Very bad customer support. I wanted to get a refund becuase I paid for the app 1 hour ago and haven't used it at all. And I hope I will not get charged $11 + $44 in additional charges for this. If I do, I will make anything possible to get my money back. Very poor customer service, extremley pure. I had to ask 10 times for a refund for them to understand what I want.

It's time to find an alternative. It's one of those apps that require just TOO much attention from me as a store owner. There is always something, but usually it's billing or admin related. Horrible support and as a bonus their fees are getting ridiculous and the latest revelation that team members can only access the app when an additional "seat" is purchased which adds up to $120 for 3 stores in our case, is just not acceptable.

This app is stealing our customers. You can never remove the "download aftership app" from emails that are sent to our customers. Fair? No! AI is just a bluff it actually has no AI predictor for ETA as they promise so not worth even paying.

Be Warned. Dealing with this company and its support is an absolute exercise in frustration. We're trying to cancel our account - which seems an impossibility. Simply go around and around with support over hrs. Pages throwing errors and no one seems to know. We are somehow connected to an Automizley app account also - which is even more difficult to extract yourself from & remove associated Javascript from our theme files. Total nightmare and no sense from support after 6 conacts

The app itself is decent, the customer support is responsive and try their best to be helpful. But this app injects a Global Analytics tag to your site, storewide, that tracks all your customers behavior. This script ignores any GDPR laws, ignores any Cookie Consent popups and makes it impossible for any merchants within the EU to stay GDPR compliant. If your customer refuse cookies according to EU law, the script is still launched at every single page of your website. Aftership need to let store owners handle the Cookie Consent themselves, and also give us the chance to isolate the tracking to only their own tracking page / embedded onsite tracking. Right now, its just all a joke and not possible to take this developer or app serious for anyone having their base in Europe.

Shopify now offers nearly all functionality that Aftership offers. I am cancelling my service after years now that they decided to charge an extra $100 per month to view transit stats, which was previously included in my plan. The company's management clearly doesn't understand how to treat customers. You can't take away features and then offer said features to customers for an extra $100 per month. Not sure what's wrong with this company, but I would avoid anything they build. You'll get progressively higher bills without explanation and then they will take away features you grew accustomed to in order to then turn around and offer them back to you for more money.

Support team is so bad. Most of the time they will forget to reply on their live chat system. You will ask a question and they'll say 'Let me check' and then leave you on read for hours. The support team is not trained at all for technical issues or questions. Really bad value for money.

The level of support is terrible for what the plans cost. Most of the support staff either don't understand English correctly or will not to help to solve any problems, they will just say no or link to an existing support article. Do not see the value in this app.
