10/1 Update- the team got back to me the following morning and resolved my issue and my husbands reset password came through later that night so we were able to get in and continue. I have updated my review to reflect the quick resolution. I do think there is some work to be done on being more user friendly especially with schedules when you have multiple coaches. There aren’t any videos and an easy way to handle multiple coaches and also have a resource as well the coach would be using. I got it figured out but it took a lot of trial and error but not exactly how I need it. Will continue to work through and reach out to the staff for help. Frustrating, as of today, I am not able to log in. I tried the forget my password and its showing my email is not valid. I just received emails from them yesterday. I have previously had issues (last month) with them having a bug where people couldn't check out. I originally thought it was shopify but their support team let me know they were working with Bookthatapp to resolve as it was something from their end. So, two months in a row, I have had issues that is preventing me from receiving bookings or being able to add/edit bookings (today). I submitted a ticket today but unfortunately, there isn't any number to call for support, so I had to submit a ticket.

Hi πŸ‘‹ As we discovered on our chat, the issue you faced was due to no account existing for you in the app. There was only 1 account that we discovered to be that of your business' developer. Since this discovery, I was able to create an account for you, which you have confirmed that you were successful in completing the setup and signing in. If you ever have any issues, you are free to chat in. If we miss your chat, it will convert into a ticket and we will have a response for you within an hour to 12 hours; depending on the time of day the chat request was submitted. As for the issue you mentioned with Checkout, this happened due to a change Shopify made. They had the status setup on their status page for a short while. You can review Shopify statuses at https://shopifystatus.com. There were also forums in the Shopify community from other 3rd party app developers who were also affected. Here's one such blog: https://community.shopify.com/c/technical-q-a/post-locale-cart-add-required-parameter-missing-or-invalid-items/td-p/2743030. Sometimes it's tricky getting the facts from 1st tier Shopify agents, which is a struggle we also have. However, when we connected with their "Partners" Support agents, we were able to confirm with them that they made changes to the "fetch" API which our app uses. Since this issue, we have made changes to how the app uses and depends on this API. So, we should not have another repeat of the issue should Shopify make any random updates without notifying us. Since our last conversation, you promised to revise your review to highlight the facts that we discussed in regards to your experience that the review was based on. I find that the support team is excellent in helping and solving any problems I have with BTA, which tends to be often. I find that the app is not very intuitive and causes a lot of back and worth. I hate to admit it, I am not exactly a fan of BTA but it is the best booking application supported by Shopify. There has been improvements slowly over time and that has helped.

This app has the functionality I want but has unexpected problems. My business provides sewing classes, parties, and camps for kids, teens, and adults. I moved to Shopify from another booking platform. Finding Book That and testing it before I moved platforms was a key reason I moved to Shopify. My experience has been uneven. The setup was not intuitive, but D'Angelo was very helpful during the process. Once I became familiar with the platform, loading classes was manageable. However, several technical difficulties have occurred in the last couple of weeks. Parents have repeatedly told me they cannot register on their smartphones. This has led to lost sales, time spent on the phones with customers, and a bad experience for parents who have purchased a sewing party for their child. One customer called me at the time they were trying to register on their smartphone. I could not replicate the issue they were seeing on their end, but after thirty minutes of troubleshooting, the customer could finally check out on Shopify. Immediately after that order was submitted, I received an email from BTA saying, "This is an automated email from BookThatApp about a problem creating a booking from one of your orders." After receiving the email, I checked in BTA and discovered that, indeed, there was no booking for that customer. I had to create the booking manually. The order captured in Shopify did not have any class information, so if I had not been in communication with the customer, I would not have known I needed to create the booking manually, and the class would have been oversold. I reached out to Support to figure out what had happened. D'Angelo was very polite, but unable to see anything that might have caused the problem. He just said to let them know if it happened again.

If it were not for the amazing customer service, this app would be pretty difficult to navigate as a first time user. D'Angelo was super helpful and solved my issue in less than 5 minutes. I do wish the app was a little more user friendly though.

Had a bit of an issue with the app's functions, BUT the support team was efficient in addressing any problem I had! Friendly, quick, and able to not only fix my issue but also guide me in better understanding the app to avoid any future confusion. That said, my issue was a bit more in-depth than what I normally work with in the app. From creating appointments, to searching past customers, to customizing the schedule for more specific days is so convenient to control from the same app. This calendar is by far my preferred app to any other method I've used in my seven years of admin work.

Works great, doesn't seem to integrate with Point of sale app so we have to manually add bookings to the calender, which might lead to a double booking.

We were having difficulty with the booking app, but it really boiled down to user error. We connected with Rob B. via their online support and he was able to help us fix everything. Very patient and communicated very clear in terms of how to use certain fields. He also helped us by updating our widget - which really made a difference, and we feel will add to a positive user experience. Thanks Rob!

We use this app to organize glass blowing classes and courses. The interface for creating the classes is intuitive. Sometimes it can get confusing having both Shopify and BookThat involved, for eg when someone cancels their registration on Shopify we have to manually delete the participant on BookThat. Great support by chat though!

This app gets the job done, but every so often there will be issues that can take a bit to resolve. They have solved the recent issue of the calendar not loading on Instagram due to the iOS 15.5 update, and it is working for my clients again. This app is also very good if you have a high volume of people coming to your site, and need to hold appointment times while the customer is checking out.

Great booking app, love that it seamlessly fits into my store! My only complaint is that it's too expensive for the features that we get - understandably so, as there are no other booking apps that can integrate directly on the website like this one. Otherwise, good stuff :)

As we are slowly reopening by appointment only, we needed a stand alone booking calendar so that customers can schedule a time to shop in our retailer store through our Shopify store. It has the functionality we need and should be easy for our customers to use. Support was very quick and thorough. Thanks Rob.

We use this app to book online/instore appts for dog grooming. I enjoying using this app for the ease of connecting with our cutomers via shopify. I do wish the app labeled each date with its corresponding day of the week Sunday-Saturday.
