great app works perfectly!

Chargeback.io is great for Shopify and it helps me catch the chargebacks before the land and i can deal with them it saved me tons of money that i would've losed due to limited payouts. 10/10

Not sure how they got a 4.9 star review, but this system is junk!! What they don't provide on the information, is that they only cover orders placed after you sign up and activate with them. So if you have a customer that placed an order prior, you then active their system, then you get a chargeback, they wont cover it. Even though you are all set up in their system. What a waste!! And do NOT expect any help, they don't help you. They only let their "fine tuned" ai speak for them. This is per Roudys words. And when he doesn't want to answer a direct question: "Once again, if a customer has placed an order prior to our activation, then comes and files a chargeback after activation, you won't cover it." It does not work!! I received ZERO assistance in setting up, even after I messaged for over a week asking for help. I got it all set up and active, and bing wake up to a chargeback. They will ask you for all the customers information. So be informed about that, this is even after they have the timeline and everything. Roudy is a grade A Smart+ss. He would rather talk trash than to answer a direct question why his system didn't work. He was asked 3 times, and he wants to answer with: My stuff was active Christy • 5mSeen • 5m She just filed it and in less than 24 hours it went from a dispute to a chargeback? Roudy • 5mSeen • 5m Please. Roudy • 5mSeen • 5m

the support team is extremely helpful they answered every question i had, i was talking with Roudy and he walked me through everything and made the whole process 100 times easier. The app also looks incredible very easy to figure it out

Customer Support is absolutely brilliant, any time they are always there to help and guide you to resolving the issue as promptly as possible. As a whole, Chargeback.io is also a brilliant platform to keep your chargeback rate below the threshold at which payments may be paused or stopped

(1st update) Changing from 1 to 3 stars a visa chargeback slipped through but working with support who is very nice and spent almost an hour working with me to see why and make sure everything is fully connected. Hoping to get everything resolved soon and update this review accordingly. As long as i know I am protected and future chargebacks aren't an issue I am very happy. Just want to know I am being protected as promised by chargeback.io with Visa and Mastercard transactions. (Will update again the moment I know this is working correctly)

Easy setup and exactly what I was looking for: pre-dispute alerts only. Got Ethoca live within a day, and the step-by-step onboarding made enrollment, billing descriptors and auto-refund simple to configure. The dashboard is clean, pricing is clear per alert, and I like that you only pay when an alert actually helps prevent a dispute. Support was responsive and helpful over chat when I had a question about currency settings. Good fit for a store that wants to keep its chargeback rate under control and protect its payment processing.

Brilliant app and service from Grace. Grace contacted me to make sure I was happy with the service and has been wonderful with explaining how this works, checking on chargeback alerts for the business and ensuring everything has been set up correctly. With 2026 showing a rise in fraudulent chargebacks we have found this app to be a must in protecting our business and payment account. We are very satisfied with the service and are very happy with our account manager Grace who's messages have been very supportive from set up to making sure everything is running correctly and our expectations are met. Would recommend this company/app and as we have other businesses about to launch, will also be installing the app for those too.

Very good experience, a super necessary application for anyone who wants to protect their payment provider account against chargebacks, and support is always available to help.

Chargeback.io is great for Shopify and prevents too many chargebacks piling up that would otherwise cause a payout reserve. I prefer to use it with a $100 threshold, anything above that I will submit a chargeback response. Its perfect for what I do.
