Seems like a good interface and some functionality on the free version. However it broke my cart process and meant people couldn't check out.

Discount Ninja is game changing. Stacking codes. Discount summary display. Cross-sells and Upsells at add-to-cart (classic would you like fries with that) BOGO offers-- with advanced logic... You may think, "Shopify already offers this..." Not even close. MERCHANDISING is crucial to customer UX. Just having an offer is not going to help sell anything. You have to communicate it. And let your customer know every step of the way about the offers. As a merchant who was instrumental in the development of more than a few "best of breed" discount apps and modules, Discount Ninja is clearly the winner. PS - If you insist on poking around my site -- please know I am also using a best-in-class popup app to help with add-to-cart upsells... IN ADDITION to DN. [update 2+ years later] I don't have much to add besides "Discount Ninja for the Win!" I am now using Rebuy WITH DN for crazy powerful promos, and most importantly, customer UX. The DN developer continues to improve the product -- OS2 compatible now. Can I give an app 100 stars?

Opted for them to instal the code, but they ruined my theme! My checkout button became disabled, so I lost sales all day. I reached out to customer serivce, but no one ever got back to me. In fact, I'm not sure if they ever finished installing the code because they never communicated with me. After two days, I gave up.

Superb customer service. The team is responsive, fast, and very helpful. I was using another app and wasnt seeing the results I wanted. Switching to Discount Ninja was the best thing for me! Highly recommend.

I installed the app and then tried to install companion app so that, along with the automatic discount, I could offer a discount at checkout. The app hides the discount field at checkout and a companion app needs to be installed in order to correct that. I attempted to download and install the companion app three or four times. Each time I was redirected to a url that didn't exist. I emailed support and heard back only once. Their email instructed me to use a different email address. I sent three email addresses to that address (the original and two follow-up) and never heard back from them. As a result of this, I lost sales. I had advertised a discount with free shipping and wasn't able to offer the free shipping due to not being able to install the companion app. I am very disappointed with this app and it's developers. Their tech support is terrible, at best. I recommend using another app instead of this one.

We checked a number of different apps to run our discounts. We have a lot of different types of discounts and promotions to run, many overlapping. Discount ninja was able to make every promotion I needed. (some were complicated) Because this app takes over your cart attributes there was some minor conflict with our custom "special order" items not normally part of standard cart function. I emailed support and got quick replies. Also the support could understand my questions even when talking about coding. Everything got fixed very fast (it was only minor, but complicated to begin with) now our sales behave and checkout perfectly. After running this for a couple of months we decided to get the maximum plan because its working so well and paying for its self. Thanks!

The app is user friendly. I spent 5 mins to get use to it. This app has all the features you need to start your site. There are so much more you can explore and add on to your site. Endless features and promotions you can create tailor to your site. Play around with the colors and settings to get how you want them to look. You are able to edit and design everything in this app. I tried the free trial for few days. Once you sign up the feature is totally different. And it is exactly what I want. I have been looking around to find apps that provide all these options. This one almost does everything that couple apps add together. And they get back FAST!

I would love to be able to use this app seeing as Shopify somehow still doesn't allow stacked discounts, but in the few days I was running it on my site, there were multiple issues and no response from Support. Products that weren't included in my offers were getting discounted and customers were able to use discounts more than once, even though this is not what the settings on my offer specified. I've been waiting over a week for any update from their support team and am just being told "they're dealing with an unusual amount of requests." I've followed up every single day and have been getting the same general response. Out of the 10 days of the free trial, I was able to run the app for 3 days and then had to pause all of our offers due to these issues not being resolved.

The app has a lot of great features for using discount codes in promotions but the key feature for us is the Dynamic prices that show the discounted price to customers from the beginning of their session and not only when they reach checkout, that is a game changer! Support has been great, we had some special use cases, requests and integrations we needed to get started, and support has done more than could be expected to accomodate this. Really look forward to using the app features and see the results.

I tried this app and it didn't work. They reached out and supposedly fixed it, however today I've had 2 sales where people got their entire order for free due to some screw up with this app. Uninstalling, I'm done. Don't bother contacting me.

Discount Ninja is exactly what we've been looking for. The range of options is fantastic and their customer support is second to none. Highly recommend.

If you want to do BOGO/BXGY or free gifts. It does not support variants so basically if you want to give a $10 gift cards as a gift the customer could technically select the highest value.

We weren't able to make this work with our store due to complications with another app but Eloy did a great job with customer support. He was very detailed and helped us as much as he can. Thank you!

This is my first ever review for an app for Shopify. First I want to say this app is totally a joke to use - it offers a function called 'tier-discount' that allows you to set different discounts at multiple tiers of a customer spent in one transaction. I have set two conditions of a fixed discount amount at two levels at first, but the system converted the discount into percentage discount by itself without noticing me, that causing a further discount as not what I expected in the deal. I then contacted the team about this, although they made a refund of one month subscription that not even enough to cover my loss in the deal. What they replied to me was '... per our terms and conditions, we do not accept liability for issues encountered when using our app or services...', this is the worst statement ever made by a service provider escaping from any responsibility in which the problem is obviously the app itself but not the user. Think carefully before using this app, this is my warning.

Really good app. when you into it and customer support is amazing. I am using custom template on my store and It was really hard to implement. But Bart (from customer service) just solved my problem in a timely manner before BF. Just give a try, you will love it.

Superb App & Customer Service! This app does require knowledge of how to edit specific parts of your code, product template, collection, cart and featured collection on home page. Being a novice at this I requested the help of the Apps customer support and I can confidently say this has been the best customer service I have ever received for a Shopify App. Bart firstly sent me detailed explanations on how to fix my product template but as I had issues finding the relevant code to update on my collections and cart templates Bart took over and made all of the edits for me. The result is a very slick and visually appealing discount offer on my website that has converted very well during a Black Friday sale. Well done Bart on your customer service skills. All the best

Don't waste your time. App was buggy and customer service was horrendous. App would only sometimes accept discount codes from Shopify and Discount Ninja. Solicited support on several occasions and only received one-line response with a link to FAQ page, and even then would take 48 hours for them to respond. I would not trust this app to effectively and efficiently support my store.
