They charged me 39$ even though I cancelled and deleted their app before the free trial ended.

Getting hit with a $39 charge when you thought you'd already walked away from the app is genuinely frustrating, and I'd be annoyed too. I dug into your account to figure out what happened. It looks like the uninstall came through just after your free trial ended, and that's what kicked off the charge on Shopify's side. I know the timing makes that confusing, and either way, you shouldn't be the one paying for it. So I've already added credits to your account that cover the full $39. The balance is sorted, so you won't be charged anything If anything still looks off, or a charge somehow sneaks through anyway, just reply here or email me straight at [email protected] and I'll take care of it myself. Did not notice that it replaces home page as well got replaced full of errors and bugs. After uninstalling the app my page was down because all of the atals elements stay there and you cannot delete them. Support is not really caring that much.

You're right that we should do a much better job of clearly stating up front that Atlas modifies your home page. That's on us, and it's feedback I'm taking seriously. I looked into your account and see that our support team already reverted your home page to your previous working version. That also removes the Atlas dependencies in the process, since they are tied to the template in your theme code, so nothing should be left behind. I am receiving this automated request for a review, but I have never used this service. I have been charged $100 ($50/month) for an app that has zero usage data on my store. I attempted to cancel previously, yet I am still being billed. I would like a full refund for these two months of inactivity immediately.

Don't waste your money and time on Atlas AI. I imported products from Amazon, AliExpress, and branded stores. Every single one got the same generic, poorly formatted output. The AI shows no understanding of the actual product, and the results require so much manual editing that the tool provides ZERO real value. This is a hard pass. Look elsewhere for your store-building needs.

Extremely expensive and difficult to edit themes. Trying to edit an AI generated theme becomes 10x more time consuming than taking a template and building it manually yourself. Moreover you are "trapped" by atlas FOREVER if you want to continue using one of their themes. Terrible business model and I wouldnt recommend

Canceled during the free trial. Account showed Current plan: Free and no active subscription. Shopify still generated a paid invoice. Developer refuses to void the invoice and wants the charge to go through for a refund. Shopify confirmed developers can reverse pending charges. Multiple reviews report the same issue. This is not a glitch. It’s abusive billing behavior. Avoid this app.

Hi AetherMist, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m truly sorry for the confusion here. I understand how upsetting it is to see an invoice after you believed everything was canceled. To clarify, all Atlas billing is handled through Shopify’s app billing system, which means invoices and charge timing are controlled by Shopify’s billing cycle. As a third-party developer, we are not able to void or remove Shopify charges directly on our end. That said, there are a couple ways we can take care of this for you, and I will personally make sure it’s handled properly from start to finish. My goal is simple, that you feel fully taken care of and that you do not end up paying out of pocket for something you did not expect. Wish i could give less than 1 star i cancelled free trial and uninstalled cause i didnt need it and they have been still charging me. They also lie and false advertise about how they set up and build the store.

Great support and App! I'm able to build great looking pages and content in 5% of the time it would normally take. Will update on conversions once the site goes live! Edit - 24.11.2025 Be careful how you use the theme and AI Store builder. Just lost over $1000 of edits and 3 weeks of work due to false 'expert' advice. The Live theme and Store builder theme are not always the same... if one is linked and you delete it, you LOSE everything and have start from scratch again.

Subscription costs apply as long as the app is active on your store, even if it hasn’t been actively used. Once the app is removed, charges may still appear until Shopify’s billing cycle closes. Title: Deceptive Billing and Zero Accountability – Avoid This App I installed the app, didn’t use it, uninstalled it — and was still charged. This is unacceptable. No clear warning, no proper cancellation flow, no confirmation — just a silent charge. Their so-called “free trial” appears to be a trap designed to convert into billing without consent. Even after I contacted support and demanded a refund, I received nothing but a copy-paste reply thanking me for “feedback” — completely ignoring my request for a credit or real resolution. This is not support — it’s avoidance. Shopify should not allow apps like this to remain live. Charging users without use or consent is a direct violation of platform trust and international consumer protection law. I strongly advise others to avoid this app — unless you want to spend time chasing your money and being ignored.
