unresponsive. is this still supported? It says disconnected but no settings have been changed and it crashes when i try to rectify

Had to uninstall with the channel constantly posting updates to FB page feed with no option to disable. New products, price updates, etc. are all automatically posted to your feed. Need to give users choice If you're a fan of choice and controlling the content on the front end of your socials, this app ain't for you...

This app does not have enough detail to work with the ads manager. its simpler to just make ads in the ads manager unrelated to this app, but if you do, then the app is not smart enough to count the costs of the ads, so its a lose lose for everyone.

Stole money and close the account without reason, after thousands dollars spent to grow audience, facebook came simply and ban account without reason PS: For facebook answer don't tell me to contact support because i did and it was useless

Terrible app. As other have also mentioned. FB blocked my ability to have a shop and there is no one to get support. This has been going on for weeks and no resolution. Very very very frustrating! Shopify and Facebook you owe your customers/clients good service. Robots are not working!

The pits. Ever since they implemented reviews, people have been giving low stars for the most ridiculous things. I've removed it for my mental health. People are lazy and don't try to email first!

Horrible app that's not connecting. Then when you call for help With Shopify. There's nothing we can do. Bad for business.. needs major improvements. They should team up with Facebook and get this figured out.

Really struggling with the facebook apps, trying to set up a new collection in my FB insta store, i spend hours doing it then it isnt recognised! sems like FB is all over the place at the moment, no customer support or help either. Also it seems to import every single item i've ever had on my store, including all the out of stock, archived products, its making the feed enormous and full of things i dont want, really wastes loads of your time!

Horrible. All the sales channels that shopify offers are so frustrating. I opened the google one a week or so ago. so many problems. Stupidly i thought let me try facebook channel. Spending the half hour it takes to set up the account isn't an issue. It's getting the you've been banned..... Like hello what is wrong with your company. I literally just added some info. I don't know if i did every step correctly but my god...so frustrating. I understand that this wasn't shopify's fault. I'm just letting others no what they can be in for if the get this channel. Update: Totally banned by facebook. They don't let you know why. Very frustrating.

These are actually decisions made by Facebook directly, and not something Shopify has control over. Terrible app, it asks me to reconnect i tried several times it doesnt work i tried different browsers different devices i called facebook and chatted with shopify nothing helps and no one can help me What a terrible app and absurd customer service, this has affected my business very negative. FIX THE RECONNECT ISSUE NOW!!!!!!!!!

It sounds as though you may have been affected by a known outage on Facebook, which prevented users from logging into their Facebook accounts. I have always struggled with Shopify's Facebook channel for one reason or another. As other reviews have mentioned, it spams all your followers every time you make a change to a product, and there is no way to turn this off. I ended up having to delete my Facebook Shop completely to avoid this. Products are duplicated in my catalogue on Facebook any time I update them (e.g. new product name), some products don't appear there, products have wrong prices, wrong images. In short, it's a mess.

Deleted products are never truly deleted from your catalog for history purposes. However, products that were changed/deleted, will have their visibility as "hidden" or "staging", which means they will not be visible to your customers. Even if a product has multiple images, only one image is linked to Instagram Shopping. This specification makes it impossible to take advantage of Instagram as an image SNS. A single image does not inspire users to buy.

NOT easy to use and when it is finally set up Facebook autogenerates posts ANYTIME you change ANYTHING in your shop. These posts do not appear on your business page profile i.e there's no way to delete them, but they DO appear in your follower's News Feeds. So what this means is anytime you change something in your shop your followers on Facebook get SPAMMED with autogenerated posts that you cannot control, and there's NO way to disable/turn off this feature. It is aggravating and humiliating honestly.

I have been trying to sync my Shop with Facebook for the past month. When I try to update my phone number, Facebook says they sent me a verification code but I never receive one. I have been doing this periodically, because you are allowed a limited amount of requests for the verification code per day.

I installed this app to set up IG shopping and its so confusing and wouldn't allow me to complete the setup and now I can't even add my IG shop by just my FB catalog saying now my website URL is taken by a different business, because the FB channel app verified my URL and now its all messed up and IG thinks the FB channel claimed it.... how can I even remove that?

After hours of trying to connect my Meta/FB pixel, I give up. This wastes so much of your time. Should be easy to do.

I'm really having a hard time connecting Instagram to my Shopify account, despite repeated attempts, and supposedly being approved by Meta / Facebook... Not sure what to do.

This has been a horrible experience I have been dealing with an issue for months.. Facebook support says it's a Shopify issue and Shopify says it's a Facebook issue. If I could rate Shopify's customer service I would give them a low score as well. I have pending orders on Instagram that I can not cancel or fulfill (and I was not paid for them). My customers are mad because they paid for something that they have not received and the orders are not showing in my Shopify store. It just seems that no one cares about this issue and it is completely ruining my business reputation and my business credibility. I am beyond frustrated at this point and I am seriously considering going to another platform. I will be seeking a refund for Shopify because I paid in advance. I am not just ranting and did not exhaust all options. I really really tried for months. The last Shopify customer service person told me he would be off for a week and he would let me know something when he came back..smh. And I am not the only person having this issue. Facebook support and Shopify support have completely dropped the ball on this and I wish I could get a refund and go elsewhere!

PLEASE KNOW -- If you delete a product from Shopify for any reason (no stock, discounted etc) they remain on facebook in 'archived' or 'staging' status. While in this status, they don't appear in your FB shop but STILL APPEAR in your FB dynamic ads. After 25+ emails FB have no idea why or how to resolve. Shopify say issue is with FB, go back to them. Had to read Shopify app terms & conditions to learn app providers need to provide customer support. Still waiting for a response. Workaround was to remove entire catalogue from FB and re-sync (goodbye to all current ads on FB, had to re-make them all and go back to learning phase). Costed endless time and money. Both parties above think that's a workable solution every time. We have 1000+ products with 50 variants each Issue remains unresolved for 2 months and counting. **RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER'S REPLY -- Thanks for confirming via email that Shopify stand firm in the fact there is nothing it can do to correct this major issue - with a channel on your own platform. You could have just said this in your response below instead of waiting to email it to us. Cheers.
