Integration is not automatic when customers make an order in my store. Also, the address field only allows 35 chars, which means that in most cases you have to change your customers' orders for the address to fit the available address fields. Mug packaging is not great. Only cardboard around it, there's no bubble wrap or other kind of fragile material protection. That's not good at all and the sample I've ordered has reached me broken. Even though there's production in my country, all the orders so far have come from Germany. This leads to slower delivery times for me and my clients, which shouldn't be needed if there's production in Portugal. Other than these issues, Gelato is exactly what I was looking for and I do plan to keep using it for my small business. It does still have room to improve and that's why I'm leaving that feedback here.

Update Update... Thy seem to listen and take things serious. It might not be they implement new things right away, but things do take time and some things can not be done overnight. Since the last review, they have upped there game and there support is still really good, as its always been. I have not had any issues in a good while with quality, actually the quality seems to be really good again. Shipping time is okay, I would love it to be faster, but who wouldnt? Atm. the shipping time looks more than reasonable. The Pricing is good, and in most/many cases better than competion. The gelato app/system has gotten faster and much better. though still room for improvement. But overall its good. What I like is there respon on new ideas and that they actually want you to succed as a business. They wont do the hard work for you, but they do want to help as much as they can. And also it does seem that they do take it serious that the print companies they partned with has to live up to some high standards. The ones that in the past made som real bad things etc. I dont get them anymore (maybe the are kciked out again? Again, it does seem they do want to learn from there mistakes and make it right and better. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once good but not now!! where to start... Gelato has many good ideas. But Quality in many cases are not that good sadly. Seen better for sure, but its still in the range of okay When i first started out, i changed from printful, as there prices was starting to get to high (only problem I had really) and Gelato seemed okay on there prices and did offer an okay product range. The first orders I had, no issues, thoug not the fastest shipping. Now every order is made, and tracking number is made, the products sits for 1-2 weeks before it get shipped... WTF and thats not normal at all, make the product and ship it. Its not that hard at all And dont give me the crap about uh peak times. If you cant handle peak times, maybe just stop what your doing. You should for sure look into some of your printers, alot of them are NOT up to standard. The Support has always been really good. Now it all depends what agent you get. Some agents are simply put, just lazy, dont know what they are doing/talking about. So support is a question of luck to recieve good or bad support Its all good you sometimes reimburst orders thats not made, but that doesnt help against loosing customers in our end. I can sadly NOT at all recommend Gelato in current state I will most likely go back to printful or begin to make most products myself (As I do have a B2B print company)

I really have to say I am very disappointed with Gelato at the moment. I addition to the problems with the hanging brackets (see below), a lot of the aluminum prints get damaged in the mail multiple times!! Because the prints are wrapped in the THIN CARDBOARD with no corner protection, I am soooo tired of the problems, that keeps getting worse insted of better..... :-( The aluminum prints used to come in a proper box, now its just terrible thin cardboard, really a scandal. There is also no way of contacting Gelato to let them no, instead I have to write a poor review to get attention. But really; print quality good, and customer service good, but except a lot of problems with shipping damages and repeated problems that never becomes better :-( I am generally very happy with Gelato. The print quality is superb and the customer service is amazing. But I have one huge problem with the hanging brackets of the large aluminum prints that has a very good print quality and is very popular; they are not strong enough for the large prints, so I have had around 30+ customers where the print fell down. Once damaging a newly renovated flooring and expensive wallpaper. Its very stressful and after many attempts, I have succeeded in getting Gelato to take this seriously, but they are NOT changing anything.

Endless problems with print quality and damaged prints. I used gelato for hundreds of photo, aluminium, and acrylic prints. I'm having to move my services to other providers after endless problems with items arriving damaged in post, and poor print quality. "Museum Quality" prints are often scuffed and scratched. They do not appear to be high quality. Packaging is typically in a corrugated cardboard envelope that bends easily and damages the print. Gelato will offer reprints on damaged items for free, but often these reprints arrive with the same problems. Wooden frames are extremely cheap, wood colour does not match that on the website. "Aluminium Dibond" prints in New Zealand and Australia are not printed on 3mm dibond as advertised, but directly onto 1mm aluminium sheet. Again this often arrives bent. Packaging often has no corner protection. Occasionally the mounting bracket is attached upside down. The app is intuitive and responsive. Customer service is excellent. But these don't help if the end products have such quality control issues.

I love the integration. It works seamlessly. The only concern is the flat rate shipping. Your Shopify store charges a flat rate but the actual shipping cost would vary by weight and there's no way to solve this other than editing shipping profiles for each product and each shipping zone which is quite tedious
