an absolute nightmare, I spent over a week trying fixing issues for all the products and variations, while every thing looks up to date and detailed on Shopify like prices, age, gender, shipping details and colors yet you get all these errors on the Merchant page and that will result in getting your account suspended. the support is not that helpful either, they just gave links to visit and not clear what do i need to do to fix all the errors. i believe it is a problem of sync. am reaching the point of stop using it and stop trying to connect my store.
Hi! I don't see you having completed onboarding of the app yet, so the product sync isn't even running right now. When I look back in history when you first installed, I do see a TON of products loaded, pending review, then approved for display. There were a few that were limited due to price mismatches or shipping, but this was a tiny subset, and most were just awaiting a new recrawl and not disapproved. I also didn't see any support cases - we have specialized agents trained in the product sync that can help so you don't have to spend hours figuring it out yourself! The most recent support case was regarding the account suspension warning, not product sync, which is why they sent the links on that flow to request a re-review of your account. If you turn the product sync back on, let some products come through, (and make sure you set your markets to only ones you sell to to limit offer overload, currency mismatches, and shipping region errors, which is what I assume was the case the first time around), then you can contact us to help you through it pretty quickly.

Products are in Merchant Center but shows "0 products" in the Shopify app sales channel. Products then randomly drop out of Merchant Center into the void, not showing up in "Needs Attention" and with no history of what products are gone or what happened. The AI chatbot pretends to be helpful, knows nothing and displays over the buttons it tells you to push. I'll just count Merchant Center out of my business plan because this is literally the worst-engineered app I have ever had the displeasure of needing to use.

I was directed to this app from Google Analytics. just want to use GA4, but the app forces you to select a YouTube channel first (I don't have one). GA4 shows alternative instructions, but they're telling me to navigate to the "settings page." Unfortunately, there isn't one. They don't even know how their own app works!
Sorry this was confusing. You can just click past that "Connect your YouTube" step and complete onboarding. Then the Settings tab appears like normal. You aren't required to connect a non-existent YouTube Channel. You aren't required to connect anything really if all you want is GA4.

Advertising with you using google merchant center is sucks!. I am writing this message out of extreme frustration and exhaustion after years of trying to work with Google Merchant Center and Google Ads. After more than four years on your platform, and after managing many Merchant Center accounts, I have reached the point where I no longer trust the misrepresentation system. Accounts are approved and then suddenly disapproved. Misrepresentation issues are reported without clear reasons, and Google Ads accounts are suspended even when nothing meaningful has changed. I have spent hundreds of hours reviewing policies, fixing feeds, adjusting websites, submitting reviews, and waiting days or weeks for responses—only to receive the same vague misrepresentation notice again. There is never a clear explanation of what is actually wrong, which makes it impossible to resolve issues with confidence. What makes this situation even more stressful is seeing other websites (as amazon) with obvious issues continue advertising without interruption. Even large platforms with clear policy inconsistencies remain approved, while smaller advertisers are repeatedly flagged without clear justification. This creates a strong impression that the system is inconsistent and unreliable. At this stage, I am mentally and operationally exhausted. The repeated cycle of approval, disapproval, suspension, review, and waiting has caused significant time loss, financial impact, and wasted effort. Running a business under these conditions is not realistic. I am confident that the products added to this Merchant Center account are legitimate and accurately represented. However, I no longer want to continue fighting an unclear system that repeatedly suspends accounts without providing actionable feedback. I am not asking for another review of this account. This message reflects genuine frustration from long-term use of your system and the impact it has had on my work. Other businesses are generating millions through Facebook and TikTok ads, while others are stuck repeatedly fixing Merchant Center misrepresentation issues. My conclusion: advertising through Google Merchant Center is sucks, impractical and unreliable. I know this message will be reviewed by one of your junior team members who managing ours merchnat center accounts!, but it should be escalated to senior management. This feedback is from an experienced professional, not a young or inexperienced advertiser. I am a 40-year-old computer engineer with extensive professional experience and multiple certifications in digital marketing, business, cloud technologies, and project management.

After complaining a year ago, this app is still incredibly glitchy and does not appear to be syncing correctly with the Google Merchant Centre (GMC). I still have old products showing up on GMC - and subsequently Google pages - despite me archiving them in my Shopify backend and removing them on the GMC...only for them to reappear on GMC. Now my new products aren't syncing correctly to GMC and I can't re-verify my website...nonsensical behaviour again so have had to reach out to Google Support...again. If I could give -10/10 for this app I would.

Over the past few months, I have been extremely frustrated with the app. Despite selecting manual product sync, it continues to push products to Google Merchant Center, which is negatively impacting our performance marketing. I request you to please fix this issue at the earliest.

We looked into your situation, and weren't able to find a support case filed for this. After investigating your account, we discovered that the manual sync request failed due to an unusually high volume of store status updates. While we haven’t encountered this specific issue before, we have now manually updated the setting for you. Your account is now set to manual sync, and the issue is fully resolved. I've been having the same problems as the previous Shopify merchants. My account is suspended for misrepresentation. However, I fix the so-called errors and the account is still suspended. The assistance is sub-par, only offering automated responses. I will be deleting this app as it is frustrating to use and non productive.

Everything was explained clearly, but the account was still locked. Some websites wouldn't even load but were still approved and running on Google Shopping. The service is terrible, with no one to support or resolve the issue. Does anyone have any other advertising solutions besides this awful one?

You should be ashamed of how broken the entire environment is: google app, shopify, ga4, ads, merchant. Think first, test and then implement. Nothing works as presented to work.

Informationen bei Merchant Center Sperren oder Produktsperren sind unkonkret, nicht hilfreich und verwirrend. Es wird keine konkrete Info geboten, nur Dutzende Seiten komplizierter Text. Man bleibt hilflos und verzweifelt zurück. Hier sind dringende Verbesserungen notwendig!!

I’m extremely disappointed with this app. For a full year, I’ve been stuck in a loop of suspension and generic “Misrepresentation” messages. The app offers no real insight, no manual review, and no actual help. It just keeps generating the same template messages over and over. I’ve fixed everything on my store, followed every policy, and still no progress. If you expect real support or human review, this app won’t give it to you. Totally unhelpful and incredibly frustrating.

App is inaccurate and confusing. Google support told me this app automatically adds GA tracking code, but in that case how do we prevent double reporting with our Tag Manager, which we need for other scripts? They were unsure. Google support also doesn't seem to understand that ShopifyPlus users no longer have any access to our checkout code. There is also a warning about "mistakenly added tags" but trying to fix it is very complex, and so far ineffective. In addition, The Google Merchant Center widget says we have 0 products / 0 approved when in fact we have 100s of live products listed there. The only "Suggestion" from the app? Increase spend. gee thanks.

Avoid this platform if you value sanity. Nothing is consistent: one typo and the entire feed stops syncing, then you get flagged as if it’s your fault. The rules are vague, enforcement is random, and customer support recycles canned answers that solve nothing (via email, no phone, no chat, days of waiting and waste of time for no help etc...). You follow the documentation line by line, it still fails, and then you’re punished for “non-compliance.” It’s a trap of moving goalposts and zero accountability—not a place for anyone who needs reliability. Basic tasks spiral into endless loops: sync → error → appeal → repeat. The system penalizes microscopic formatting differences while ignoring its own bugs. They demand millimeter-perfect standards from you, yet don’t hold themselves to the same—a terrible example. Miss a single character, the feed won’t refresh; fix it, and you get a new unexplained rejection. You don’t even know if they’ll ban you because the Shopify feed refresh lags a few minutes—delays outside your control—so you never get a real diagnosis; support replies with copy-paste templates and you get banned for that too. Support is slow, scripted, and unhelpful. This wasted days and delivered nothing. And here’s the kicker: if a review fails, your Google Ads account can get restricted or blocked; you’re forced to wait days before requesting another review, and those reviews are rationed. Burn through a few attempts and you’re effectively shut out of ads for good. Now I understand why so few people stick with this platform and choose alternatives. This isn’t a professional ecosystem—it’s roulette with your business on the line. I’m switching to alternatives immediately so I can actually see my ads delivered.
