I really like this app except that you can't type paragraphs. As soon as you hit the return key to make a new paragraph or if you forget and hit the return key by mistake, it sends the message before you are done with your message. It would be really helpful to be able to make paragraphs in the message to the customer.

So far so good. I love that it allows us to help our customers instantly. The only thing that bothers me is that there seems to be a delay when using on desktop. I hear my mobile pinging and then like 30 seconds later it pops up on my desktop. I don't like that there is an unnecessary delay in responding to the customers who are usually ready to purchase right then & there. But other than that, it's working great.

While the delay of messages between a desktop and a mobile device could be due to various factors, such as the internet connections on the devices or how different types of devices relay the data, it's also worth noting that often times it takes mobile devices less time to load the data. Très bon plugin, des fonctionnalités intéressantes, directement liés à shopify et Facebook. Avant je dépensais plusieurs centaines d'Euros par mois pour un service équivalent, le fait qu'il soit gratuit est un gros plus. Il y a par contre plusieurs axes d'améliorations enviable, l'idéal étant qu'il puisse fournir un service comparable à celui de Tidio (par exemple)

What a pity that we cannot use one Shopify Inbox for 2 shops at the same time (if U want to use Inbox for next shop U need to log out and login). Other things are really great!

I really like how simple it is to get every message at the same place, but I wish there were more automation possible (complete flows with answer choices for the customers) and there is also much room for improvement concerning bilingual sites.

It is a good app that allows customers to ask direct questions. however; the delay in getting the notifications sometimes means the customer has left the site. It does send the response via email but sometimes it would be good to interact with the customer straight away - otherwise a great app

I want to first say I am really appreciative to Shopify for putting out this app. I dont have a phone center, cant carry a phone with me everywhere, but people are finding this way easier to use than trying to email me or text me. We did have to put in the welcoming statement in the chat box that if we dont answer that their reply would be emailed or they could request a phone call, which seems to be working. I have nearly completely gotten my customers away from emailing me (which, the emails are constantly getting "lost in space" and to using the chatbox instead. I do however wish there was a way to save the old chats into a customer file so I could go back and review what we have discussed. That would certainly be a handy feature! But all in all its been a great add to communicating with my customers.

Getting notifications but they are silent. Any chance of adding sound with reminders? How about a pop too.

This app helps with customer enquiries anytime of the day. Very useful. It will help if the app can real time indicate another user in the store is typing/ drafting the message. This is to avoid duplicate replies from different users.

It would be better if we did not have to login every-time. Once we are in Shopify Admin we should be able to open the inbox caller to respond.

I use the app to reply to message. I like getting the notifications when I have a message. I do not like that I have to hold the swift key to go to a second live in a message because when I hit enter, it automatically sends the message.

Good tool! I just need to keep better track of notifications. Don't have the time or a dedicated person to respond to messages 24/7 . The 'respond by email' is a nice touch and helpful there.

Hi - we started using Shopify inbox as we wanted a chat option with our customers. It works well, a lot of the replies are delivered by email rather than on the chat, and this is because we have missed the notification and the customer has moved off the site and is no longer online. Notifications are not send to the mail address that has shopify open, which means we often miss that a message has arrived. PCs can chime a lot especially when your phone is connected to the PC like mine is. I would like more control over the notifications to push a notification to an email address, regardless of whether that email address is currently logged into Shopify. Overall though it is a good app

Really good app - not just for messaging with customers but also the FAQs and quick answers. Just hope that promised Instagram link works well. One request is that variants can be linked to from the app linked to the generic product type isn't good enough.
