Great - I like the new AI feature. Hopefully it will learn more over time and responses become quicker and simpler

We like the idea of using the Shopify inbox on our site but in reality the app is too basic. There is no ability to universally select notification settings. Notifications are automatically set to ON and now everyone with access to our store is getting notifications. To switch this off - EVERYONE will need to individually enter the app and disable notifications for themselves. Even if you have 100 staff members who are nothing to do with customer service. That is bad app design. As the store owner I should be able to select who gets access to Shopify inbox and universally what the notification settings are. I think there also needs to be more functionality integrated around which staff members are currently available to take conversations - ideally auto allocating them to people on shift.

I like the app, but I wish there was a more convenient way to view inbox messages on the backend of Shopify, instead of having to click through to another page.

It is a little confusing when I keep seeing old messages. There's got to be a way where you can ask if the conversation is over for ever, or not...
Thanks for sharing your feedback. To help keep your inbox decluttered, you can try closing conversations when you feel the conversation is over. This will move the conversation under the Closed tab and keep the Open tab cleaner. The customer is not notified of you closing a conversation as it just for management on your side. If the customer continues a conversation you had closed, it will automatically be moved back into Open. You can close a conversation by clicking the dotted line circle on the left of each conversation under Open or clicking the "..." button > "Close conversation". We do not currently have an easy way to confirm with the customer if the conversation is over forever, which may be the feature you are suggesting. Very useful app - 1. can send product information 2. AI assistance added - reduces turnaround time in live conversation setting 3. Used effectively this type of customer is usually ready to buy.

It makes communication with customers easier. I like the fact that chat with customer is mentioned and linked also in their order history. I would like to be able to format the message, like in mail, before sending it.
