We used Joy to build our membership program. Functionally, Joy met most of our requirements and helped us with customization. The pricing was also reasonable. Joy's customer support was excellent; their response was very quick, and their technical staff were highly skilled.

We've been searching for a tool that can effectively boost customer loyalty and repeat purchase rates, and Joy perfectly meets our needs. Its points reward system has greatly motivated customer spending and engagement behavior. The backend data dashboard is very intuitive, clearly showing the conversions and revenue it has brought us. Compared to the value it delivers, the pricing is extremely reasonable. The customer support team responds quickly and resolves issues professionally. If you're still hesitating, I can say this is one of the best investments we've made on Shopify. Daniel, in particular, has been an excellent partner to work with—whenever I have any questions, he always follows up patiently and in great detail.

Original Review Nov 16th: (updated below) I spent $1000 USD on a joke. the customer service is nice enough and tries, but what kind of system can't even calculate the number of members in a membership tier correctly and the search bar for the customer list page doesn't even work. Seriously, I don't even know what to say. I'm willing to change my review if things get fixed but i'm honestly just so frutrasted right now by the amount of time I've wasted on getting basic things done here. Nov 24 - Update: After 2 weeks of back and forth with the team, the majority of issues have been fixed. I did hope for an easier onboarding process though, it might have saved everyone a bit of grief, but I 100% want to acknowledge to how responsive the team was and did try to be helpful, and for that we are definitely appreciate of. We just launched the programme last week so we'll see how things go. Jan 28 Update: Whilst the basic functionality is working, we are currently working on the email notifications and we've noticed some issues. - Notification email previews are not able to show us what a customer really sees. It only shows placeholders, which is concerning because it means there is no way to test if the email is set up right and will be send correctly to a specific email because you can't preview for specific profiles to check.

Joy is an excellent app that allows you to build customer loyalty through various programs, very easy to use and user-friendly. Furthermore, the customer service provided by Audrey was wonderful and prompt, she was able to fulfill all my requests with precision in a very short time! Plus: I wrote to her a few weeks ago and she still remembered my needs, fantastic!

Hana is great and helped me set up a lot of things with the app. For example, css text in the background for widget spacing, merging contacts from Yotpo, etc. The app took 5 hours to fully set up well. So far no glitches. I sent a text to some customers today and asked them to check out the program and not one customer complained about their experience (I sent the text to 500 people) and several people used their points to place purchases today so that app is already generating income. It's nice to have an app that's easy to use, fast support, and works without glitching. We will see how it pans out over the next few months but as of 2 days in, it's working as intended, much better than Yotpo (sorry Yotpo).
