Pretty disappointed with the app. It's outdated, clunky, and has one of the worst UI and UX I've ever seen, as well as overly complicated even for simple tasks. The app needs a COMPLETE overhaul. There's nothing to save or improve in the interface. the UI/UX needs a complete redoing. . And I say this as a professional in marketing for over 20 years who is not just a beginner, and who's not easily discouraged by complex interfaces. This is not complex, it's simply broken for the most part. Feels like I'm using an app developed in 1996 when Microsoft Windows was barely taking a foothold. . Yes, the app is fairly strong, it excels in segmentation, flow triggers, and flow charts - it does the extra 5% mile that other apps don't do, although other apps are pretty much there anyway. So, is that 5% overly complicated extra mile really necessary? Yes, if you're a corporate brand selling in 100+ countries, having 1000+ customer segments, and you don't mind overcomlpicating your life with counterintuitive clicks, day in day out. But other than that, the app is simply not effective for 90% of the jobs you have to do. . - The email editor is almost impossible to use, and it's impossible to create consistent email designs (and no, this is not just a matter of different email clients rendering the email in different ways). - Simple tasks that should take a few clicks end up taking hours and hours of configurations and checks and rechecks: it just makes you go mad after a while. - Having the highest price on the market (in this email marketign field) for being self-proclaimed as "the best" in the niche... is simply not justified. . Considering that, as a business owner, you will probably spend 80% of your time in the marketing app, you may want to avoid apps that make you pull your hair out. By all means, please go ahead and try it, before you decide on a different solution, just so you take an informed decision. This is not a decision you have to take lightly. . Oh, by the way, if you have a database of subscribers in Shopify, none will be marked as subscribed in Klaviyo. You have to literally rebuild your entire database of customers, and ask them again to consent to your marketing (most of which will never do on a second time despite placing an order with you previously and accepting to be subscribed in that moment when they actually desired the product from you, when their subscribtion intent was highest). This is mad. Klaviyo's explanation: it's just the privacy / consent / GDPR policy, and we don't want to assume responsibility for anything because God forbids, you may be faking the consent in Shopify, so we don't trust the Shopify consent, we need a separate consent just for Klaviyo. . Also, the customer service is pretty much non-existent, other than emails over 24 hours where the customer service simply points you to some basic help articles in their knowledge base. And, God fobids you need actual help with anything: for the most part they'll say it's not their job and that you need to hire a professional instead. . I say this with a heavy heart because I had high hopes from this app, and I didn't want to leave this review knowing that there are some real people behind working on it, but things had to be said. Whoever is in charge of leading the direction, it's leading it in the wrong direction, and dragging the entire team with them.

Horrible. Faites super attention à votre forfait. Je ne l'ai pas pas surveillé, résultat : 2 mois à 375 dollars pour un ROI de 50 euros max. HORRIBLE. Vous choisissez le plan gratuit, vous n'avez aucune notification par email pour le changement (le comble pour une app emailing).

It seems like I find a new issue with Klaviyo every day. Do NOT use them for order confirmation emails. You cannot update any info or resend confirmations to a different address. If the customer mis-enters their shipping address, email, etc. that is it. It only records info one time. It does not communicate with Shopify at all. Our customers are very confused why we can no longer resend updated confirmations, as Shopifys native email notifications can do this. We have been using that for years! It's a very simple function. I am going to have to switch our confirmations back to Shopify because people want a copy of their receipt with the correct info. We spent a lot of time and effort setting up these flows only for them not to work as intended. And it's frustrating that every time I reach out to support they respond that "it is a current platform limitation." We pay top dollar to use this service and the basic functions don't work! Why is everything a limitation? Just save yourself some money and use Shopify inbox or literally anything else. We are looking into alternatives now.

I’ve really enjoyed using Klaviyo for email/SMS marketing. It’s flexible, easy to work with, and makes it simple to build targeted flows based on real customer behavior. The reporting and deliverability tools are solid, and the support team has been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance. Overall, it’s a reliable platform that scales well as your business grows.

We are unsatisfied by the set up and ease of use of the Kaviyo SMS app. We have been locked out of our account and cannot access the app or are unaware of our status and customer service has not responded to requests to unlock account. Rating Poor, unresponsive, challenging to use.

Atrocious customer service that has no basic knowledge. They don't even know what z-index means. Also, the smart translate feature is completely buggy. It translates some parts and leaves out others. Even mixes languages within 1 email. Ive been using Klaviyo now for 2 months and was better off with Omnisend. It was also cheaper with basically the same functions. What a waste.

Terrible app, we used to use it for sign ups, haven't used it since 2021, when after i deleted the app, thousands of fake emails got added to the list. I've been trying for hours to delete ALL customer's data, as well as all these bot email accounts with no success, can't even get support for it and refuse to pay to get it. the profile maintenance page is blank. just trying to comply with the LAW on customers data

I have paid for a plan and in the same date they have created me an invoice and i have told them that the invoice is incorrect and it needs to be changed, they said that the past invoice cant be changed, only the future ones if i modify in the settings the company name, etc. But i have requsted this in the same date when they have created my invoice, i dont understand why it cant be modify, its unbaliveble how they cant change the invoice.

I've been using Klaviyo for the last 5 years or so at various brands and what I always say to people considering the platform is that the level of support offered by the Klaviyo team is next level. I've pretty much had to learn what I know by teaching myself from articles from the help center or hopping on a live chat with an agent and they are always so wonderful and willing to help troubleshoot problems or sanity check logic when building flows, segments, etc. if they can't help you in the moment, they are always so thorough and on it with the follow ups. They're the best!

Unbelievably non intuitive. Wouldn't text me for previewing the SMS email. Also, the form just simply wouldn't go onto my website. It didn't show up for me, would show up randomly for others, and the preview, and the final design on the website were completely different

So many restrictions on the new klaviyo customer hub. I can integrate gorgias, but not their live chat. Now klaviyo expects me to pay for the helpdesk feature AND also gorgias? Why? Also no mobile app for the helpdesk.

Be careful when using their email templates. They add default ALT text of the original image and include a link from some other company within some templates with animated pictures. Unfortunately, I realized this only after sending an email to my customer list, and now my customers received an email where the main clickable image leads to a completely different website. Those ALT texts and links shouldn’t be added to the templates. The services of your partner should be advertised in a different way not in a hidden way within templates!
